Came in today (Friday - May 8th, 2026) for my son and was greeted by Beth. She was absolutely phenomenal from the start, incredibly kind, welcoming and sweet to my son. Today he got a gentlemans haircut, she nailed it. The vibe was mellow and inviting and you can tell the ladies were all having fun. It wasn't busy at all, so Beth was able to get us in and out on 20 minutes. Quality of hair cut is horrible, asked for a trim, and a mid fade. Normally this would take anywhere from 20mins or so when you do a good job, this girl named Riley took less then 10minutes, left me with single hairs sticking out where my fade was suppose to be, didn't even ask how short I wanted my trim, just started cutting until I told her to stop. not sure if she was in a rush, but it felt like she just did the bare minimum not caring how it turned out and let me go. Will never come here and highly don't recommend. read more

Wow!! Great haircut, fun, and great customer service at good price. I took my 88 yr. old Mom here. She hadn't been to a beauty salon in many many years, because they are too expensive. I just went here earlier today and asked for low curtain bangs and a trim and while the trip looks nice the curtain bangs were botched one side was more cut then the other and was literally just a clump of hair I had to go to a different salon to fix it and as it is better than it was before I now have full on bangs and hate them. Had my hair cut here twice. First one was fine. Second gave me a fungal/barbers rash behind both ears and on my neck that persisted for two weeks. Very irritating and painful. I returned for a refund which I received yet the great clips did NOT return my tip nor has the owner gotten back to me about it when followed up. This salon has terrible service . I tried to get a haircut today and when I had checked in online it said they had a 120 min. wait time. So I had thought to myself I mine as well check in and get my name on the list now. Well 2 hours passes and I finally receive my text to go to the location. I had received this text at 5:51 which is 9 minutes before closing time. I still rushed over and walked into the doors at 6:02 to which I was greeted by the lady with her saying " we closed at 6, should've been here before 6." In a super rude and short tone. I didn't catch her name cause I just walked out because I was so frustrated. I would've understood if I had come in 10 or 15 minutes past without a text . But to greet a customer with that response after only 2 minutes and a customer shows up before the appointment cutoff is absolutely ridiculous. I wasted 2 hours thinking I could get my haircut at this location. The terrible part is that I am a frequent customer at this location and have built a pretty good relationship with some of the barbers and even came back multiple times after another barber there I had never been with before absolutely butchered my hair or what have you. But, I DEFINITELY WILL NOT BE RETURNING AFTER THIS EXPERIENCE! read more

I've been taking my 9 year old son here for a year now. We love the app concept to Check-In online. It doesn't make a reservation but it holds your spot "in line". It will tell you on the app how long your wait is. If it says 40 minutes then it'll be 40 mins or less once you step in the door. Once you arrive make sure to greet someone to let them know you've checked in online. Ylia is now my son's favorite but all the ladies are nice and does nice haircuts. We are pleased! read more

UPDATE: 11/8/19-first off, the lobby was extremely crowded when I walked up, but I had used the great clips app to check in ahead of time. When I told them my name, I was taken immediately to a stylist's chair. Luckily again, Kayla cut my hair. I am so blessed to know such a wonderful stylist who works so close to my home. I will say it again, she is so gentle around the back of the neck. It felt like she was lightly combing my neck hair rather than using clippers to cut it clean. The place looks great, and you can tell the girls take great pride in keeping it that way. I love this place! 8/29/18: Being newly moved to Menifee, I hoped to find some place to get my haircut that would meet my expectations. I was not disappointed. Kayla was my stylist, and from the get-go she was a patient listener and professional stylist the entire time. I got a clipper cut, which can be tricky in the wrong hands. But Kayla proved to be very competent with her touch and finesse to not leave razor burn on my neck, or leaving my head bruised or nicked. Online check-in makes it better, right?? Nope! Just because you check in online, it doesn't mean your spot is saved. Once you arrive, make sure they are aware you've arrived, otherwise, you will be skipped. I don't go to great clips often enough (once a year, maybe), so I didn't know this. Someone acknowledged me when I walked in and asked if I had already checked in online, but she didn't ask me for my name. Since they weren't "aware" I was already there, they skipped me 2x!!! They were going to skip me again, but I asked if they don't go in order since they had already skipped me. Quite annoying, as my husband and baby were waiting for me in the car. When I was finally seen, the girl cutting my hair was nice, patient and gave me advice about my damaged hair. I liked the cut I received, and she listened to me as far as what I wanted with my hair. I have gone through a few hair stylists since we moved here from San Diego County and I knew after the last one I had to find somewhere else to get my hair cut---prices went up and hair cut went down. My friend told me about Greta Clips so I decided to give them a try even though I have previously gone to one of those places where you make appointments, etc. I have been going to the Menifee Great Clips for a few months now and despite having someone different each time, all the stylists have given me a very contemporary cut. They are all very skilled at what they do following showing them a picture of what I wanted. Regarding the online check-in, I have not used that as I frequently want to cut my hair on short notice and Great Clips works for me that way. Walking in I have never had a long wait even without doing the online check-in. I continue to go to the Menifee Great Clips and am pleased I can get a better cut for much less money including a senior discount! I will see them next time! read more

Came in today for a haircut. It actually wasn't that busy considering it was a Friday night. I usually don't go to hair salons for haircuts. I tend to go to barber shops because they use razor. I'm glad that this place stays open up to 9pm as well because majority of places close by 6pm. I get off of work at 5pm so I'm usually in a hurry to get a haircut after work. I was the only customer there at the time so I was seen right away. I requested a high fade with a zero on the bottom and a light cut on top. The woman that cut my hair did a very good job. The staff here is very friendly as well. This place is great and it is isn't expensive unlike other places. I will be coming back for my next hair cut. read more

Received a haircut on 11/20 around 2:00pm from a middle aged blonde woman named "Cora". I had explained to her that through COVID I had not gotten my haircut, it was long and wasn't in the best condition. I told her at the least I thought I could use the ends trimmed as I was experiencing breakage. I also had mentioned it had been TWO and a HALF YEARS since I had even gotten a haircut so surely the hair was damaged. Me not knowing exactly what to do, had asked her for advice on what she had thought, she then proceeded to tell me "we can take a inch and a half off for a "Trim" it will look the same about how you "like" it". She proceeds to spray my dry hair with a spray bottle of water, and applies a very small amount of conditioner and proceeding to RIP through my hair, hearing the hairs SNAP with every stroke, she continues.. once she finishes "untangling" my hair she then proceeds to trim 1 1/2 inch leaving the hair completely uneven. Charged me $22 out the door to get my hair ripped out with little to no advice or a proper haircut. Still tipped her $5 to be nice. read more

And total misunderstanding from the get go... which was a phone call to inquire about services and the dealing with not being able to get an appt over the phone... just online yet walk ins are totally welcome... hmmmmmmm. There online check in is there for a reason. I checked in online and did the text thing also. So that when it's about 15 min till my haircut it texts me to go in. So I get texted and let them know I'm there. They tell me 15 to 10 minutes. So I'm watching the timer on my phone and I also noticed that both people that are getting haircuts are finished, the timer expires to a 0 min wait. All of a sudden they call 2 different people and my timer goes back to 15 minutes. I asked them when I'm up and they told me," Your up next sir". Don't worry. I have other stuff to do then wait a 30 to 40 minutes for a haircut when I'm supposed to be up in 10 to 15 min. read more

I came here for my first post-vaccine haircut and Jeanie was fantastic! The staff were all following COVID precautions, wearing masks and keeping the door open for ventilation. Well after waiting hours for my kids to get a haircut I walked away very upset. Kelly was our hairstylist. She seemed overwhelmed and towards the end of my kids haircut she seemed irritated. She was told that she had to do both of my children's haircuts and she seemed not to be happy about it. Towards the end of my sons haircut I asked if she could take up his fade higher and she seemed irritated. I understand they were very busy but I am still paying for a service. So found a coupon and since we have been tight on dough these days, decided to take a chance. BAD IDEA! Not only did I have to take scissors to my own hair as soon as I got home, but they wanted to overcharge me for the style! The price board in the front CLEARLY says: Regular hair: $20, long hair $40, Updo's $65. So can anyone explain to me why they wanted to charge $65 to style my hair???? When I saw the price I was assuming it would be between $20-40. My hair is about 3-4 inches past my shoulders which I classify as regular. A stylist might say long. Either way I expected it to stay between $20 and $40. They tried to shove $65 at me even after I went to the board and asked them where it says $65 for my hair??? I wanted a simple blow dry with a round brush. They said the cost has to do with their time. I came home and it took me 45 minutes to FIX and STYLE my own hair. So a professional should have taken about 30 minutes. So that's worth $65 in what universe? On top of it all the assistant manager all but ducked away from the situation and let the girl who did my hair and another employee deal with me. She didn't take charge of the situation at all. Those girls should not have had to be the ones to handle this situation. I left this place pissed off and looking a mess! I have wavy, frizzy, weird hair that is out of control without product and/or a flat iron. I moved here from the Los Angeles area and it used to cost me $45-55 for both a cut and style at a REAL salon. How a cheapy chain like this with sub par stylists is worth more than a upscale salon is beyond me. My stylist didn't really seem very knowledgeable. I showed her a photo of my own hair and was extremely descriptive about how I wanted it. It's not like I came in with a magazine clipping of some girl with completely different hair than I have... She seemed quite lost, even after I showed her the photo 4 times. She tried making conversation with me halfway through the cut, but it felt so forced like it's part of her job training to strike up a conversation. It was very awkward. Overall, I'm unhappy with the service, misleading prices, and ESPECIALLY the assistant manager who ignored the employees pleas to handle this situation. read more
