This is a great location they're fully staff so that makes the wait time alot less than most locations. I do however recommend checking in online before going in on the weekends when everyone is off and wanting a hair cut. Online check-is fabulous ! If it shows longer than you'd like, disregard it. Most times, folks check in and either don't show, or run late or a stylist may be on break so the system updates timing based on reduced number of stylists. We haven't had one bad haircut or experience here (knock on wood). Stylists are friendly and cuts are quick and efficient but without feeling rushed. Be sure to check for specials. They run them a few times a year, reduced rates for regular haircut (under $10). BTW, no surcharges for longer hair (unlike some competitor chains). And once a year (I think), they sell gift cards for haircuts at reduced rates. Currently $10.99 per haircut, and you can load up on a card for yourself or as a gift (or your college kids). read more

I have been meaning to give them a review for years but I always forget. The cover photo has a guy in the front and he's definitely one of my favorites. He always does it perfectly and you can tell he seems to like his job because he always double checks everything. He's got an artistic vibe and is a bit of a perfectionist. He will actually take the time to scissor cut instead of the usual easy quick buzz that some do. I had a little ol Hispanic lady that cut my hair for 10 years and when her husband passed she retired. I found myself lost and looking for quite a while. This place seems to have the better cutters that seem the friendliest. The prices are great as well. Is there such thing as zero stars? NEVER GET CAM!!!! I sat down and said I would like 2 inches off. He made me feel horrible like I needed to cut all my hair off to make my hair not have dead ends. While he was brushing my hair getting out some tangles, I was closing my eyes from the pain and he preceded to ask "would you like a new hair stylist," I said no why and he said "you're giving me attitude and sarcasm." I'm pretty bummed out I lost my receipt and couldn't remember the lady who cut my 4 year old son's haircut. She was not gentle by any means he kept saying ouch, the way she grabbed his head was just a little cringey for me. She wasn't very friendly either, the other lady cutting some little girls hair was all about her customer and you can tell the difference in energy. She left patches on the side of my sons hair as well. Towards the end she started to try and make convo but by then it was already to late to engage assuming she just wanted her tip. Anyways i advise Great Clips to talk to their employees and make sure ALL employees can be more gentle with smaller kids they are not adults. read more

I passed by several GC to go here bc of the many positive Yelp reviews and I'm glad I did. I think her name was Maribel, she was very patient with me after I explained I'd had problems with others cutting my hair too short. She explained what she was going to do prior to cutting and had me look in the mirror to verify how much I wanted her to cut off the back. My hair is thick and 6" below my shoulders. She layered my hair and it turned out Amazing! She also said everyone there had worked there for years and they all got along really well. Will be going there every month for now on! read more

I have been coming to this location for years. I drive past 2 other locations to go to this one as I always liked the service and stylists. I will now start using a different location as this one has no concept of time management. If I check in online and am given a wait, I expect to be called for my turn within a reasonable amount of time of what it quoted me. If the app says 25 minutes when I check in, not getting in for over an hour and fifteen minutes is not ok. The stylists are just chatting away with the elderly people without a care in the world. Or they disappear for long periods all while you wait. If you use this location, keep a close eye on your wait. You can't trust what the app says when you check in. The time may just keep going up instead of down. read more

The wait to see a stylist is ridiculous. Even after checking in online. While waiting I had the pleasure to see how the stylist working performed. I highly recommend Kathy for man and children haircuts. She cleans up the sides and back very well much better the the male stylist there. Kathy was extremely patient with my child. Super friendly, never once felt annoyed. There was another stylist there that had no patients with the client (child) she was cutting hair for. My tip would be to watch how the stylist cut hair and watch there body language. Request Kathy you won't be disappointed!! read more

Always go here to get my hair cut, either Stephanie or Cameron take excellent care of me. Would recommend this location as there are quite a few stylists that have done a great job. I asked for a bob with long layers . My hair is thick and there's a lot of it. Anyway the layers on top were cut too short and now my entire head looks like a crown of cotton candy. You get what you pay for. Hope this helps someone. read more

Came in at 11:30 a.m. . We were the only ones there, greeted right away and my 4 year old son got a buzz cut by Sarah. She was excellent with all the kids, great job with the buzz cut and working on a four year old. Very patient, very kind. Took my 6 year old daughter who has leukemia in today to get her head shaved. Sarah did her hair. She was wonderful. Through her tears she made my daughter feel happy and beautiful. My daughter smiled the entire time she was getting her hair shaved off. As for Sarah and I not so much. She made a very difficult and emotional event a smiling and memorable one. You can tell you love what you do and have outstanding customer service skills. You made us feel like a friend and my daughter happy while we were doing something very difficult. 3 strikes and you're out! I've tried this location 3 times since it is convenient to my house. First time they didn't blend the sides to the top and I looked like a pineapple. Second time texturing the top they took 1 and 1/2 inches off and this last time just took way to much off all the way around. A 5 on the sides was an accidental 3 and then the rest of the cut was way to short to "blend" in. I gave the same instructions I do the my normal No Central Phx Great Clips and they are always pretty consistent. This location is 0 for 3. Better put them on the bench! read more
