The check-in online system is a complete joke. Several people, including myself, checked in online, only to arrive and be told that they had no record of our check-in. The front desk staff seemed completely dismissive of the issue and did nothing to resolve the issue or display even a modicum of customer service or urgency. Never had an issue with any other Great Clips locations, but when I went to this one, the lady cutting my hair rushed the entire thing. I asked for a 5 around the sides and she got the razor out and went at it like it was NASCAR, it was sloppy and a bit painful. I told her I only wanted a little bit off the top and she kept questioning that since I was getting a lot cut from the sides, I kept saying yes only a little. (When I was in Athens, I had great experiences at Great Clips. Because they didnt have my usual Super Cuts in Athens, I switched.) She barely wet my hair, which, if you have felt my hair you would know it needs to be wet to be cut effectively. Squirt Squirt...that is all...O.k....So then She started cutting. WHEN DOES TO MY SHOULDERS MEAN TO MY CHIN? I mean, when I was born I really didnt have a neck, but I sure as hell have one now and it is about an inch and a half above my shoulders!!!! I sat there pissed. When she was done, I looked in the mirror, the right side was a fraction longer than the left, but you couldnt tell unless you were staring at it. THIS time, I asked for side bangs just above the eyebrow and the Eastern European lady cutting my hair totally botched them up and then claimed it to be a misunderstanding although I told her several times "Side bangs." "No I want them to go to the side" "Yes they have to be this heavy so they can go to the side". I had a great service with these people. They were very nice. I had never been to a Super Cuts before and did not know about the check-in online. When I got there their lobby was full with two or more families. I had to wait 5 mins to check-in. But while I was waiting I tried to do it on my phone and was having a hard time. Finally after they finished with the person in front of me I told them that I tried and then they were like well we can do it here. As soon as we were done checking me in they were like ok we will take you now. I was like WOW! There was a review on here that someone wrote that they cut their hair too short. I told the women the numbers for the buzzers and she was like well I use different kind of buzzers so I'm going to go up a number and when I'm done we'll see if it needs to be shorter. I've been going to this location for about two years now, but gradually the service quality has gone down over time. About a week ago I went in to get my hair cut, and the stylist did an awful job. I asked for a fade on the sides, about 1 inch length and I walked away with so many long hairs where the sides meet the top of my head. I went back about a week later, told a stylist what was going on and she sat me down in a chair and started to fix things I didn't ask her to fix. She ended up leaving a BALD SPOT in the top front of my head. She also ended up CHARGING me for the visit. So, in short, I went two times in a row; the stylists messed up my hair two times in a row. I have had different ladies do my hair but today I had this grumpy woman (maybe the manager?) who looked irritated and rude. Its summer and so I wanted to go short. She suggested I come often. One of the worst haircut locations I have been to. The first time I visited I got a decent haircut. Hence I continued to go multiple times even though it was bad every time since. Two out of four times my hair was messed up badly by two different stylists. Also, their online check in system is a total nonsense. Once I checked in and it showed wait time as 35 min. I reached there in 30 min and my name got removed from the list. Another time I checked in online and my name was 3rd on the list. Waited for around 15 mins and my name got on top and then it suddenly vanished. I went and asked the person at the desk and she just unapologetically told me that they remove the name after 20 mins and has to add me again to the bottom of the list. It would have been ok if I was not at the salon when my name comes up. Otherwise it is ridiculous to make someone wait another 15 mins. No more to this place. read more

I used to work at this location, I left because of the disrespect from the manager and stylist as well as scheduling issues. I was never sent to training classes and worked there for 5 months before deciding I couldn't stay. I noticed stylist will tell the customers anything just to get them to leave. Many complaints from being kicked off online after a certain time. The system is super old and not user friendly. Honestly the owner is in his 70+ and has no idea what's going on in the salon, in my opinion this salon would do much better under a new owner and new manager. I've worked for this place twice and there is NO professionalism. This store is SLOW and has gone down hill because of the owner/ management. The store does not open at 9... they open whenever stylist arrive (9:15, 9:30 and sometimes after 9:45) wasting my time after traveling to get to work on time. I have NO key to open. Manager does not call to inform nor write up for this action. No product on shelf, no back bar product to use on customers...very sad. Customers are frustrated, write poor reviews, and walk away because store close. This franchisee needs to sale. The manager needs some assertive classes as well as management skills. Do not come to this place at all. The stylists are completely unprofessional, most of them are extremely rude and the manager will sit there and do nothing.
