I waited 5 days for my order status to change to shipped before calling. I was told they didn't actually have it in stock that they were ordering it from the manufacturer that shows it on back order. The price was the same as what the manufacturer was selling it on their web site but in stock. Just be honest and say you don't have it in stock, and that it is on back order from the manufacturer. Linda and Dennis are a joy to work with. They came out to the barn twice to fit a saddle for my…read morehard to fit horse (17h ISH with very high withers). Dennis was able help me make a decision on the used saddle I bought (out of 6 I had on trial). Once I bought the saddle he came back and made adjustments to my half pad to create the best possible fit for my horse. A few months later when the bottom of the flaps on my saddle started rolling up due to wear and tear I worked with Linda and Dennis to fix it. He suggested a wear strip along the bottom of the flap to fix the stitching that had worn away and prevent the same issue from happening again. His craftsmanship is beautiful. The leather matches so well you can't even tell it's not original to the saddle. He also fixed a small tear where the panel meets the underside of the pommel. Linda does all the scheduling/ phone calls and is a pleasure to work with. She made the process so easy and made sure I was comfortable with the changes to my saddle; even suggesting I come out and see a similar fix he did on another saddle before making my decision.
