I bought a car and was going to drive it to New Mexico so i went to Grease Monkey to have oil changed. They told me my car took the synthetic oil which was going to be 90+ and so I said ok. He looked everything over and said everything was good to go. The next day my friend checked the oil before I started on the long road trip and my oil was black. Then he checked the oil filter and found that the oil filter had not been replaced I paid ninety something dollars and did not get an oil change, We figured out that the skid plate that was on my car was the wrong skid plate so in order to change oil it had to be taken off which is probably why they pretended to have changed my oil. I give grease monkey zero stars because they stole ninety bucks from me. read more

Best pit stop I ever made!! I was greeted immediately as I parked. I was unsure if I needed to have my engine coolant flushed or if I could just have it topped off. I was also unsure if I was due for an oil change or not. The technician used his expertise to determine that he could top off my coolant right then and there and also that I was not yet due for an oil change. I appreciate their honesty and timeliness! Thank you, Grease Monkey!! read more

I came to grease monkey for a simple oil change and refill on my fluids. I also asked for them to check my breaks and man do I regret it. Their customer service was okay but their actually service on my vehicle was poor. After about an hour wait I was told they had completed my service but when I drove away I could hear a noise coming from my car and and my steering wheel was pulling left. I had to turn around and go right back to the shop for them to tell me one of their certified technicians did not put my tire on correctly. I doubt they checked all four tires because when I left for the second time I could hear another noise coming from my rear tire and since that day my car has had issues starting. You could not pay me to go back to them and they need to take down that certified mechanics sign because clearly they will hire anyone off the streets. read more

These guys did a pre-purchase car check for me, and were so helpful!! I know where I'll be bringing my new car for maintenance! Thank you so much! read more

extremely professional the moment i called, got me in for an oil change that i needed urgently, checked all my lights (break light, turn signals) filled up all my tires for me and even cleaned my windows without me asking. highly recommended this location, staff is great! read more

They were fast, professional, and polite. They did not try to overcharge me or sell me things that I didn't need. I don't live on this side of town and was only here for Sam's Club, but will definitely be back when it's time for my next oil change. read more

Came here to get a new AC compressor for my car. Two weeks later the compressor starts blowing hot air. We go on Sunday and ask if they could fix it and the AC mechanic wasn't there. We were told he'd be there anytime within the week and that we could just walk in. I drive there on Tuesday 8:30 (my car's AC is blowing hot air and it's 100 degrees out so I didn't want to drive in the afternoon), when I get there the AC mechanic wasn't gonna be there till 10 am. So annoying. Don't tell me to come anytime only to find out that I have to drive back and forth coz he's not there. read more

This place is HORRIBLE. DO NOT GO HERE. MY best friend went here and they stripped her oil drain plug. She had NO IDEA until she went to get a new oil change at a TRUSTED location. DO NOT GO HERE. I WOULD RATE 0 STARS. She has been trying to get help with Corporate and the OWNER and no luck with this. So FAR HAS GOTTEN NO WHERE and has to pay the expenses to FIX. read more

Service is terrible, had to drive back and forth about four times just to get serviced for one problem. I probably spent more money on gas driving back and forth than what the service was worth. read more

I came here a few months ago to get a diagnostic done on my non-functional A/C, as well as an oil & filter change. I had a budget to work with and figured it might be enough, or it might not be anywhere near enough. Well, turns out for $800 I was able to get a lot done (A/C could have cost up to $1600.) They diagnosed that to be the blower motor so only $150 for that. I kept getting more little things done and to fix everything non-cosmetic of concern was about $600. Then because I knew I was traveling this summer and was going to need a new battery sooner rather than later, I would. Finally got to $790 and was amazed that fixed about four or five separate issues and prevented one more. Service was friendly, patient, and high quality and three months later everything is still functioning perfectly. read more

Excellent friendly and quick service. I just moved from downtown PHX to North PHX and needed to take my car in for a check up and oil change. Reasonable prices and coupons for future visits. This will be my go to place for repairs from now on. read more

Absolutely the best service we've ever had. My family and I were heading to flagstaff for the day and my husband said we needed to get our tires checked so we were gonna go to Big O Tires, but didn't realize they were closed on Sundays?! Luckily we found Grease Monkey! We got our tires checked and an oil change all done in under 20 minuets! Kemp and Dustin took amazing care of us and now I know I won't go anywhere else!! Thank you guys!! read more

My wife and I recently bought a house in the area, and with increasing temperatures I didn't feel like crawling under the car to do an oil change. I contacted these guys through yelp and had a response within 20 minutes. I was able to set up an appointment through the email as well which was fantastic! I arrived for my appointment today and the staff was friendly and attentive. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes and even received a discount for my check in. I wouldn't hesitate to come back. read more

I've had my oil and filters changed here a few times- and my favorite part is that the work is done well and quickly. Waiting in a lobby with a toddler is never fun, so I appreciate how they do business here. I'll keep coming back! read more

My husband recommended them and I am glad I listened!!! Fastest oil change ever! Staff is very knowledgeable and patient. They did not try to upsell me or sell me things I did not need. I will be a repeat customer for sure! read more

I had been a loyal customer to Grease monkey for years but the last visit I had with them was truly my last! Rewind time March 2020 I had my vehicle towed to them cheapest thing was to check the Spark plugs which needed to be replaced according to them. But you could tell by the sound of the engine it's wasn't a misfire. Truck was still not running....checked the coil pack...still not running...the first thing that should have been done was a compression test to check the engine but instead they assumed it was the transmission (keep in mind there was no codes for the tranny) they said you need a new tranny...nope took my vehicle to another shop ran the compression test and my engine was blown...not the tranny. Several hundred dollars spent at grease monkey to fix and diagnose a problem. the most obvious thing would have been to run the compression test but for what ever reason they skipped that process. They seem rushed and don't take the time like they used to. read more

All the guys were very nice and helpful! They didn't take long changing my oil and it was affordable. They also vacuumed my car and cleaned all the windows. A little extra touch to the oil change. I'll be back. read more

Amazing service! I was driving my car back to CA from the Grand Canyon and the check engine light came on. Drove up and was checked in with right away. Mechanic took my car right in, checked the numbers and sent me off with a clear bill of car health and no charge. Comfortable waiting area and extremely pleasant staff. If I lived in the area I would be back again. read more

I always go here to get my oil change or anything else done that they offer and my car needs. Oil changes are quick and speedy and they always give it to me straight on what my car does and doesn't need. I've interacted with a lot of their guys and they're all super nice and super sweet. I would highly recommend that you bring your vehicle here. read more

The attitude I received both over the phone and in person was friendly and professional. I got the impression the gentleman that helped me was happy to be working and providing a service for me. Honestly I don't get that very often these days. Customers should be able to expect friendly service as a minimum. When I do feel welcome it puts my mind at ease that I will also receive quality service. read more

Terrible! I brought my 6.7 diesel truck there to get an oil and filter change. After draining the oil and removing the filter, the technician informed me they did not have the oil needed for my truck. I had to wait for the local parts house to bring the proper oil to them. Finally, they replaced my oil and I paid $174.83 for the service. I only had oil and a filter, no additional parts or service. I thought the price was a little high and let them know about it. I got into my truck and drove away. 2 miles down the road I stopped at a store and when I returned to my vehicle, noticed a puddle of oil under it. I immediately drove back to GM and they had just closed and only the manager was still there. He told me to come back tomorrow! He refused to put the vehicle over the pit and see where the oil was coming from. I finally convinced him to crawl under the truck and tell me what was leaking since he wouldn't drive it in. Since I refused to leave until the leak was addressed, he called another of their locations and i had to wait for a manager and a mechanic to arrive. They put the vehicle in the shop and discovered the oil filter was leaking. I was told that wasn't uncommon because they see quite a few defective filters. They replaced the filter and said the leak was fixed. I drove the truck home and parked it over a piece of clean cardboard. After sitting for an hour there was a softball sized puddle of oil under the truck. I called the store the next day and was told they would refund my money. After 2 weeks, and multiple calls to the store, I received a refund. It should be noted that the oil used to top off the truck following the initial leak was not the correct viscosity. It took 5 quarts to refill the truck. I will NEVER go to GM again and would recommend no one else go there. read more

5 star job! Was in and it in 20 minutes for oil changes fluids were topped off and even for my windows cleaned!

Great, friendly, affordable experience. I would recommend. They didn't try to give me the run around at all. Very straight forward.

I won't take my truck anywhere else. Had 2 oil changes here, both took less than 30 minutes from the time I checked in to the time I drove away. They replaced my windshield wipers the first time and fixed one for free after it had been damaged. Really nice folks! read more

I took my 2001 ford explorer sport on Saturday to get the transmission fluid, filter, and gasket replaced. I tried to explain the issue with my car to the technician to help him understand what I need. So they did job and was happy with customer service and the way treat people's cars. I still have the issue with my car they money I spent gone for nothing. I called the store to get an idea about what they have done, the person answered the phone was talking about fluid leak, I didn't say I have fluid leak. I tried to explain about the transmission valve Body gasket, which the problem with transmission and told him I can send a video to explain the issue. The CSR disagreed with me and asked me to take the car to transmission Shop. read more

Went to Grease Monkey today as my truck spilled out all the coolant in the parking lot next door. Warren was nice enough to walk over with me and take a look. He ended up getting me up and running in less than an hour and the price was very reasonable. I would recommend these guys if you are in the area and you want fast, honest work. I appreciate them making me a priority even though they had other jobs going on. I'll definitely have them in mind for my next repair job! read more

I never write reviews but I just feel the need to for this place. Usually I HATE getting my oil changed or anything to do with my car because I feel they try to take advantage of me because I'm a female. They did nothing like this here. They were so friendly and fast! From the time I pulled in to the time I left was only 30 minutes. I would totally go back there for anything to do with my car. read more

These guys are awesome! I called them at 3:45 on a Saturday, Mother's Day weekend and they squeezed me in. I must have called 3-4 places prior and been turned down flat. Them taking care of Mom's car would've been enough. But the staff was super polite, clean restrooms / lobby plus cold water in the fridge. read more

I was driving through Phoenix and needed my oil changed. I have been to Grease Monkeys in Wyoming and Colorado and was so glad to find one there. I always hit a Grease Monkey for oil changes in my truck when I can because they are always fast, clean and fairly priced. They also have coffee, water and cookies in the waiting room. (Bonus!) At this particular shop, the manager, Thad, was very courteous, and I was on the road again in no time because of their fast service.( I would do a 5 star, but the bathroom needs to be updated, so I gave it a 4.) read more

Used to visit this location when it was Econolube. Have been here twice now and the are FAST with oil changes, fair, and efficient! The check & top off fluids, wipe down windows, etc. The little extras go a long way as far as customer service goes. Will be back! read more

They did an excellent job quickly and efficiently. They put Midway Chevy's service to shame; I would still be waiting there.

Why have I been going to my dealership?! These guys are so nice, helpful and have cookies. I mean, come on...

They overcharged me from the price I was stated and was quoted. They said it would be 10-15 minutes. It took them 1 hour and 15 minutes! I was watching them, and they couldn't figure out how to put in the air filter. They also lost 4 of my pins for my engine cover. And I was the only car there the whole time! I will never return, and I highly recommend no one else go there. read more
