The manager went above and beyond for a FREE top off, tire check they even vacuumed and washed my windows! Definitely this is a very bad place to take you car. If so, make sure that the tech properly tie the oil bolt and avoid an engine damage. Do not recommend this place at all!!! read more

I was not expecting this level of service when I went in for an oil change last weekend. Normally it is such a tedious task but the crew who was working was so friendly, personable and friendly time flew by! Less than one hour in and out, checked and filled everything including my tires. Let me know if oil usage and cleaned windows and floors. Then I get a flower on my dash when I got to my car. I will preface that I'm am very angry while writing this and if there was a way to give negative stars I would. I just left this location prior to having my vehicle serviced. While checking into have my car serviced and chatting with the new OWNER Mike he was boasting about how profitable his location was and showed me his sales sheet he had printed for the day saying he expects to gross over $800k this year, that he is part owner of another location on Broadway and so on. He then went on to disparage the previous owner and staff of this Buckley location saying that it had "gone downhill because of the Black people that took over". I asked him to clarify what he meant about the Black people. He went on to say that "the Black people were playing YouTube videos in the lobby etc." I then informed him that my husband was Black and that was an inappropriate comment. He apologized profusely said that he was from Detroit and that he had an ex-employee named Lamont that he loved like a brother and invited me to come in for coffee as he apologized for putting his foot in his mouth. I decided that I would not be patronizing this establishment so I decided to leave but had another brief conversation with him as I left. As he continued to apologize I further explained that his apologies were unnecessary and I hoped he would use this as a learning experience in the future. He agreed and then said he had used the wrong choice of words and that he should have said they were "hoodlems". I then told him that I didn't think he would make the same comments to other patrons such as the vehicle that had just pulled in that had 2 very nice Black women inside. So as I left I also took the opportunity to introduce myself to them and let them know why I was choosing to take my business elsewhere. They made the same decision to leave as well. Very disappointed as I was extremely satisfied with the customer service and previous experience I had before with the Black people. read more

I had the worst experience in my life I normally go to this grease monkey all the time but now that he has a new cashier and I don't know if these are the same technicians but I waited for 30 minutes and then I seen a young lady drive up go right into the bay when I went in to question Miss Tina about what was going on she stated she didn't know and winning doctor mechanic to tell me what was going on at that time he stated he didn't know what was going on they hurried up and try to fix my car they didn't even vacuum clean it or clean the windows and then when I went to cash out the lady tried to charge me $743.11Then when I told her that was the wrong amount she got upset and stayed it for me not to scream at her but like I told her how do you make a mistake like that I just suggest that if you go to this location make sure they treat you well and put your car in at the time it supposed to do not make you wait because the young lady pulls up looking pretty read more

I can't say enough good things about my experience at Grease Monkey this week! I needed a new battery in my van and because of other circumstances had a very small window of time to get it done. I had called around to several auto shops who told me they could sell me a battery but would not install it. At Grease Monkey Josh answered my call and after hearing my situation gave me directions to the store and assured me they could get it done. Upon arrival both Heather and Josh ushered me to the back and got the battery changed in 20 min in the parking lot! They were both professional, efficient, and genuinely kind! I went in to pay and as I came back out my van had been turned around ready to go and had a flower on the dash! I was speechless! This kind of service is rare! The location is in a place where you would think they are going to gouge your wallet, quite the opposite. All of them were friendly and professional. Have some knowledge when you go in, though, about prior maintenance on your vehicle because one guy tried to tell me my air filter needed changing even though it was white as snow and had been replaced not too long ago. Other than that, the service was fast and their inspection of my vehicle was thorough. They even replaced my windshield wipers for $14 ($7 each). They understand the importance of Preventive Maintenance. I will be going there again. Just remember, have some knowledge going in about prior maintenance to your vehicle so that you don't get something you didn't really need. I don't fault them for it, they are a business. read more

These people are the bee's knees. I've been back there twice for oil changes and they make maintenance easy and cost effective. Since they flushed my fuel system I've been getting mileage on my car that I haven't seen since it was brand new. I went back today for a minor fix of my windshield wiper mechanism and the mechanic did it immediately and didn't charge a dime. The flower on the dash is a nice touch but I have to say that their SERVICE is the nicest touch of all. read more

I took my car here because I've had it changed here before, they must have hired new people or changed owners. I payed for synthetic oil and of course they came out and said I needed a new filter, I paid to get it replaced and thought everything was fine. The next day I open up the hood of the car and notice they didn't top off the fluid, they didn't reconnect the filter hose back it was just hanging there and they didn't even close the filter container correctly so there was a gap in the holder and they just had a screw laying on it. I will never go back to this place. I'm so disappointed. read more

I had EXCELLENT service at this Grease Monkey! I normally get oil changes at my dealership, but couldn't get to the Springs, so stopped in here. Got service right away, work done in timely manner and without them telling me I needed this and that replaced. Suggested things to watch, maintainance that may be needed soon, but no pressure. The owner rang me up, gave me coupons and answered any questions I had. Opened my door for me, and they even left a flower on my dash...you don't see that much! I will go back again. read more

My fiancé and I went here to get a simple oil change. They told us my car needed top of the line oil that was $79.99. I refused the service and we left. I took my car to a Grease Monkey location in Greenwood Village and it cost $38. I will never come to this location again. I really didn't appreciate being lied to and I am glad I am a girl who knows what oil her car needs. read more

I would recommend this shop to anyone looking for quality service for their vehicle. I did read a review in which a customer made a remark about racial comments made by the owner. I have to say, that was not my experience at this location and my daughter who was with me is clearly black (African American) and I myself am biracial. The owner was very pleasant, lots of enthusiasm and a genuine sense of kindness. My daughter completely adored him and begged for me to make sure we come back because the manager gave her a flower and she thought it was the best thing in the world. I had my oil changed on New Years Eve and everything seemed to go well until I received a notice from my bank that I was charged twice for the oil change. I called the Grease Monkey and they said I would have to come back and they would credit my bank account. I went in today and spoke with the manager and the first words out of his mouth was it was my bank's error. I showed him proof on my phone from my bank app and he said that they balanced and I was wrong. Then it got interesting! I stated that it was impossible for my bank to deduct a second amount from my account since all deductions or withdraws are initiated by the Merchant or Grease Monkey. You see, this is my profession; credit card processing. I told him that I had proof of two different transactions a minute apart with two different authorization codes. I walked out after stating that I would dispute the second charge and file a complaint with YELP! He followed me out of the store and yelled that I was wrong and that my bank was wrong. When you don't care about your clients money, you don't deserve their business. This could happen to anyone else that goes to this Grease Monkey! Be very careful and check your banks statements and credit card statements! read more

Did not have a good experience here. The mechanics lost the copper washer to my oil drain plug(saw them searching the floor for it). Instead of replacing it with another copper washer they put a rubber one on it that just squeezed out when they tightened the drain plug. Obviously I did not see this happen as it was done underneath the car. I drove my car home and parked it in my driveway, went to leave for work in the morning and as I was pulling out noticed a giant puddle of oil in my driveway. I looked underneath and noticed right away the rubber washer they put on squeezed out the side and oil leaking from it. I would never go here again just because you know the mechanic knew what he did and was just to lazy to replace it with the right one after he lost it. I paid $150 for my oil change which has nothing to do with them, my vehicle holds 10 quarts of synthetic oil. But I had to pay another $100 to get it fixed. read more
