After being disappointed in the past services (from 2016-2017) I decided to come in once again yesterday (7/31/19) for an oil change and brake inspection. Upon the inspection, I was informed I needed work done on my brakes that I had paid for back in 2017 that was apparently never performed by the SCAMMER previous owner Carlos (who now has a federal court case and potential class action law suit-heads up folks). The staff especially the manager on duty were extremely helpful in navigating the issues my car was experiencing caused by the previous owners fraudulent actions. The manager was sensitive to the fact that I had already paid $700+ for work that had never been performed and that I was upset about having to pay again. The manager really pushed to make this right for me despite it not being caused by the current owner, management or staff. Thank you! Not only that, they were speedy and thorough- showing me the parts being replaced and talking me through why certain things should or shouldn't be serviced on my car at this time. I absolutely love grease monkey! I've been coming here for about a year now and I wouldn't take my car anywhere else. Carlos is such a nice guy, he is very welcoming and personable. It's cool coming into a place that remembers you, every time I come in he remembers my Camaro. My brake problem had been "glossed over" when I went to my dealer. I did not understand why my brakes were squealing. Basically, I was told there was nothing wrong. I had a problem with getting a diagnosis from them before, so I wanted a second opinion. I went to Grease Monkey. What a clean bright place to wait for your Vehicle. I digress. They removed my wheels and SHOWED me the wear on my brakes. They EXPLAINED to me that replacement could wait, that eventually those grooves would wear down and it would stop. It was worth the inspection cost to have someone talk to me and show me. Not give me the "okie doke". When it is time to have my brakes done, I will go there. read more

Awesome service. They saw me right away, were very reasonably priced for a synthetic oil change. I was not expecting (to my embarrassment) that they were going to go over the inside of my car with a vacuum or that they were going to clean the windows. When I walked in one guy was on the phone ( I apologize I'm terrible with names) telling someone how their personal mechanic should fix something. On the phone. Consulting and giving advice. For free. And THEN said if that doesn't work, bring it by, I'll take a look. Actual customer service?! What is this world coming to? I was feeling horrible for cheating on my mechanic that I've used for the past 17 years. (Please, don't tell.)But with my recent relocation, (Not witness protection), I needed an oil change convenient for me. I will definitely be returning. Whole process took about 20 min, but I wasn't really paying attention THEN! They gave me a coupon to pass along that will give me a discount also. Do I look like I use coupons??!! Damn straight!! The owners were in from Colorado. I got an oil change. Clean shop, reasonably priced and provided great service. They washed my windows and vacuumed our car floor. That was pretty cool. I found the windows were streaked a little later but that guy was working hard wiping them so no complaints there. They told me some issues I had that I should consider but they were not pushy. I will likely return. All the folks were very personable there from the owners to the manager and the workers. read more

I came here for an oil change and service was spectacular. The waiting area was clean and had free drinks and chips for customers. The service was quick and efficient, i felt like i was in and out in no time. They even have a timer for waiting customers to let them know how much longer service will take, and if the clock runs up and goes overtime they will even deduct the service cost! One dollar for each minute they go overtime. Great way to assure time management and efficiency! Their courtesy service also left my car in fresh and clean condition. Discovered this little gem while looking for a place to get my oil changed quickly. I was surprised when I found out it was black owned. Definitely rare to find a black owned mechanic shop. That right there is a reason why I would return. But aside from that, the service was fast. They were playing some good music and they were all in a great mood. That was a plus. They washed my windows while I waited and talk to me about services that were overdue on my vehicle. They were friendly and knowledgeable. I liked the vibe. I needed help with another vehicle and they were willing. I was greeted by everyone who worked there. It was nice and pleasant. As a woman, I often feel like I'm getting overcharged or like I don't know much about cars. But I didn't get that when I got to this place. I felt very informed and included in the process. Wow! Super impressed! Friendly staff. Absolutely no-pressure no-nonsense honest talk. Yeah, I needed license plate lights (2x), but I was never forced to 'look at your air cleaner' or 'look how sludgy your oil is, here, buy some detergent'. I went to have my oil and filter changed and they checked all my lights, topped off all fluid levels including front and rear differentials and transfer case, cleaned my windows and vacuumed the inside checked tire pressure and then I find out they do more extensive car repairs too. While this was being done I had my suv at another shop having the water pump changed, so I thought I would ask what their price would be for the same job and to my surprise it was around $200.00 dollars cheaper if I only knew they did that type of work. Recently got a car that was way overdue on an oil change, so I needed one done asap! Luckily, my friend referred me to Grease Monkey. He told me he had just went there the day before and he was impressed with their fast and convenient service. He also mentioned Bob was super friendly and that I would not have a problem with their service. So, after work on a Monday I went straight to Grease Monkey and arrived around 4:20PM. I heading to the front desk was greeted by Bob and was told he would be right with me since he was currently with a customer. Once, it was my turn he asked me what brought me in today and I told him I was in need an oil change. Bob then asked me a few questions about the car, mileage, and my daily commute to ensure he provided the correct oil change option best suited for me which I thought was great!
