I needed Two good quality used tires for a trip to South Lake Tahoe (mountain roads). I stopped in here because I was short on time (impromptu trip). I got two same style tires with good tread for 115 out the door. Luckily I had no issues on my trip (very lucky)!! The inside wall of the passenger tire was all chewed up in a circular pattern. THIS IS NOT ROAD SAFE AND SHOULD HAVE NEVER BEEN SOLD TO ME IN THIS CONDITION USED OR NOT!!! This was not caused by my car and is impossible to be caused by my car. I had two mechanics verify this as well as my transmission guy as I thought I may be having a transmission issue at first due to how my car felt. I will never be back here because I VALUE MY LIFE!! I wasn't sold something like a defective laundry basket, no! TIRES, YOUR LIFE DEPENDS ON TIRES. (To the haters) yes I have learned my lesson, I should have bought new tires! I had 4 flats and as soon as I pulled up to the shop with the tow truck the owner comes out and first thing he says is "Your rim is cracked" rudely and storms off. That was a complete lie, so then they change the tires easily then over charge me $60. I didn't realize till half way home. I went right back got into a heated exchange and got my $60 back !!!! i came in to patch a tire after i was referred by the shop on Wilbur. Eagle couldn't repair it because the puncture was too close to the side wall. The employee offered me a used tire originally $80, he said he'd do it for 60. I declined because i wanted to check elsewhere for the same brand. I didn't find one so I came back the next day. They wouldn't honor the $60 offered yesterday. I agreed to pay the $80. Its a 19 inch chrome wheel with 285/30/19. They took a while to do it as i saw them struggling back and forth trying to put the tire on. Eventually it was done after 30 minutes waiting. I went home to wash the wheel since it was all dirty from the liquid trying to put on the tire. Then i noticed the peeled off chrome on the corner and the missing valve stem cover. I know it was in perfect condition before because I inspected it. They may be good for some quick fix patches and cheap tires; but i wouldn't trust them with some performance wheels or finishes that could be damaged. Not only that, they weren't honest about the damaged rim nor did they keep me informed why it was taking so long while I watched others come and go before me. read more

Walked out to my car on a flat, so I quickly pulled out jack and spare and swapped them out. I went straight to Eagle Tire, I told them I want to do a flat repair. They said no problem and inspected my tire. Tire only has about 28k on it and luckily nail was in the dead center of tire so it was all good to repair they began the flat repair, about 5 mins later tire is being mounted back on car and they put my spare back in trunk. I bought a tired from Eagle for 140$ brand new from them. Less than two months later on a car I don't drive daily for work only on weekends the tire was cracking severely. I took my car to sears for a regular oil change and that's when the mechanic brought the cracks and the low quality of the tires to my attention. Sears had better quality tires for 20% less then Eagle tire and all there tires come with a warranty that last no less than 50,000 miles. Took my car to get 1 tire replaced, ended up replacing all 4 just because the price was decent. Which I regret badly. The guy had trouble taking the lug nuts off my vehicle. I assumed these guys are professionals that if they cannot remove something then own up to it and say you can't. He tried soo hard that he broke the lug nut in half. Half of it is stuck inside where you can't even use the tools anymore to grip it. His next best action was to grab a screwdriver and hammer and try to bash it out. Which made the damage way worse than it already was. End of the day he told me to go take my car to a specialist. Our family has been going to Eagle Tire for years. Its always a very fast process. On a Saturday I showed up with a screw in my tire. Before I could even get out of the car Gustavo was approaching. Immediately He asked me whats wrong, found the screw and got some tools. Turns out the screw was very small and didn't puncture the tire. He checks the air in each tire and says "no charge". Amazing! Too bad i didn't have cash I would have tipped him. I went inside and insisted that they take my card and a tip. If every employee was like Gustavo the world would be a much better place!
