My first visit to the original(?) Graze.... I had been to the Armature Works location quite a few times and looooooove the Graze burger with tots! I came here to this location for breakfast (once so far) and it was good....not great. There is a local NY-ish with a coffee house feel to this spot. You wait in line, order your food, take your number on a stick, sit wherever you like (arm chairs with low-top tables, regular tables & chairs, counter seats or community style tables...) I ordered coffee, a mimosa and breakfast. We opted for the community tables - generally people talk to one another at community tables - but seems at this place they don't. Food came, it was good, doesn't quite match how I feel about the Graze burger at AW...but I'm just getting used to the other food options here. Seats were uncomfortable. Better stools for the community tables would be my greatest suggestion. But, I'll be back. Maybe sit in the arm chairs next time. read more

I'm just trying to order my food and find a table sheesh... all the people bring food, utensils and bussing the tables were super nice, though! The burger was great! The 1910 sauce is not a chocolate fudge sauce (I looked it up online and found fudge) but it's really good! My only comment is that it's really small for a $11 burger ‍ the braised chicken bowl was great! It was the healthy alternative to the chicken sandwich that I really wanted but I got a side of tator tots I'm not a fan of sweet potato fries, but these sweet potato fries?!?!? Heavenly... My bf always gets graze at Armature but we only lie about 1/2 mile from the Dale Mabry one, so we ordered take out online for pick up. Most importantly the online ordering in their website is so user friendly. Lots of pictures, descriptions and ability to customize. Food was ready fast, packed really well and so fresh & hot. Every person in the restaurant was friendly upon pick up. A server waved and said welcome, the person at the register was on the phone and smiled and the person near the counter also immediately greeted me and asked my name. The inside was so modern, warm and what you want from your local restaurant. The all day breakfast is always so clutch. My boyfriend's usual was perfect (egg, American& bacon Sammy on an everything bagel) and my breakfast burrito was so tasty. Those jalepenos have quite the kick, so beware if you can't do spicy! This place was great! It's a fast-casual style restaurant where you order at the counter and they bring everything to your table. I had the Basic Tartine which came with a side salad. Delicious! The portion size was large and the sunny side up egg was perfectly cooked. They had some way more exciting menu items that I didn't go for, but looking around everything looked delicious. We grazed at Graze - 1st time ever - for brunch. The BYO Egg Bowl with potatoes, onions, spinach, and chicken was delicious and filling because of the generous portion. Both of our bowls were light on the protein (Please tweak that) and they were out of my preferred base: cheese grits. Wait. What? No grits? Unlike most places, the cook was not afraid to season. Was it me or a bad day? After reading some great reviews, I was somewhat let down by the food. I really wanted to feast but it missed the spot for me. The Chicken sando lacked a crunch and was just warm not juicy hot like I'd expect even from PDQ next door. The kitchen wasn't busy since the dining room was light at the end of any lunch rush with a handful of folks dining so I really don't know why the sandwich was a miss temperature wise. I doubt getting it spicy would have helped. Flavors were lacking, even the pickles didn't give it a needed punch. It could've benefited from a bit more sauce but the bun was nice. The sweet potato fries were good but not mind blowing. Again they were cool and softer with some sugar glazing on top. The smoked salmon tartine needed more salmon and prefer it thinly sliced than presented. The BLT had real crisp bacon I was told and not in the best way. We were hungry so we ate and left. Can't say this was a highlight of my day nor will our experience prompt us to return anytime soon. read more

Four stars for this casual restaurant that appears quite popular. Due to its excellent reviews, we selected it while in town for the Hyde Park Fine Arts Festival. This particular eatery serves breakfast all day. Lunch/Dinner is served after 11AM weekdays & after 1 PM on Sat & Sun. Regular business hours are 8 AM till 8 PM every day but Sunday (when the restaurant opens @ 9 AM). There are NO RESERVATIONS allowed. Patrons will likely encounter a line prior to ordering. Unfortunately, there's just one open register, but the line moves rather fast. There is a full wall menu behind the cashier as well as individual menus beside him/her. Upon payment, diners are handed a numerical table marker; the prepared food is brought to the table. While we ate, there was a young woman washing down tables; she stated that she spoke no English. I drew the outline of a box & pointed to my leftovers; we communicated beautifully. Anytime diners left their tables, she was quick to spray down each table w/ a Windex-like cleaner. OUR TWO ENTRÉES TASTED FRESH-- SEE PICS! The Avocado Egg Salad on thick, multi-grain toast was HEAVENLY! At $11, I will order it the next time I stop in. The Bubba Cluck @ $14 was different & very flavorful w/ its maple & bacon glaze. Lots of carbs, so only the leftover eggs & chicken went home w/ me. Well, I'm about to hit 30 and I feel like my age is starting to show. This place is far too hip for me. It reminds me of a smaller, more colorful Oxford Exchange. Black and white marble-looking floors and tables with quilted cushion benches. When it's full of people like it was today, it gets very loud but as people started heading out, it wasn't too bad. I know my parents would have a hard time hearing here. 12PM on a Sunday was crazy - can't find a place to sit kind of crazy. 1PM it started to die down and be so much better. The service was incredibly attentive and friendly. So, let's get to the food. It was probably going to be a one-time thing for me but the food is SO GOOD. We will certainly be back. They managed to make a kids' quesadilla surprisingly extra delicious. I got the Ray-Ray's BLT, which had amazing bacon, avocado, tomatoes, and whatever sauce they put on was so creamy and flavorful. The mimosas are great, mostly champagne with a splash of orange juice. The smoked salmon tartine was an excellent breakfast choice with a nice amount of salmon and pickled red onion to provide some body to the tartine. The side salad was tossed in a nice lite vinaigrette topped with pumpkin seeds. The scrambled eggs were nice and fluffy too. Came here for Brunch recently and loved the ambiance. It's a cute coffee shop type feel where you order at the counter, they give you a number and then they bring it to you. I got the create your own egg bowl and found it pretty tasty. They have sandwiches that come in a pretty big portion as well as other items. The service is relatively fast and the people are friendly. The patrons don't have to wear masks but you can spread out nicely if it's not packed. There is parking in the back which is great to combat a difficult B parking situation. Overall, good food, good service and good ambiance - what else do you really need. The food is delicious here and the inside is beautiful too. Staff is pleasant and I've had good overall service...even with pick ups during the worst of the pandemic. Today (6.14.21), service is still good. Just a little less table service than I'm use to. No one really checks on you to see if you need a fresh cup of coffee or anything else. Especially since they've created a self serve station with room temperature water, napkins, etc. Nevertheless, I do appreciate that the staff still wears mask. Great job on this! Located on Dale Mabry, traffic may be terrible and parking is limited, but you are rewarded with really solid food and a good atmosphere. I got the Lox and Bagel and a side of roasted potatoes and it was delicious. This place is a great option for brunch. I stopped by on my way to Trader Joe's on a Saturday morning. There were only 2 other couples dining in at the time. It's such a beautiful space with all different types of seating. There are communal high top tables, bar seating, low tables, lounge seating, and half booth seating towards the back of the café. It will please anyone's seating preference. You just walk in and place your order, they give you a number, and then you pick your choice of seating. They will bring the food out to you when it's ready. I asked about the coffee. So, they don't have many coffee choices. But they do have a seasonal cold brew. The very helpful staff member gave me a sample of the lavender honey cold brew from Ginger Beard Coffee. I didn't even have to ask. I thought that was great customer service. I did want a flavored coffee, and that was all they had. It was nice to be able to sample it before ordering it. Well, it had a wonderful flavor. I'm usually allergic to lavender. It's a mild reaction and usually I get teary eyed and have throat and sinus issues, but I didn't have any reactions with this coffee. It was worth chancing it for me. I'm glad I tried it. I took a few pictures while I was waiting for my food to be delivered. It's really a lovely place. I love the floral walls and black and white floor tiles. It's slightly feminine, but also incorporates a modern décor. They have a coffee/water station where you can get refills of hot coffee as well as napkins, creamer, and other accessories. I sat in the half booth seats which were comfy enough for me. The food arrived and it was a huge Seared Ahi Tuna Tartine with a beautifully dressed salad. I think the salad had the citrus champagne vinaigrette. I could taste a little lemon. It was beautifully presented, and a good quality meal. They used a large slice of multi-grain toast as the base of the tartine. It has guacamole, spinach, pickled carrot & onions, and scallions. Some pieces of the blackened tuna were a little salty when tasting it by itself, but it all balanced out together when mixed with the bread and other toppings. There was a Thai peanut sauce drizzled on top of the tartine which also added more flavor. It was really good. I'd like to try the tuna in a BYO bowl with the brussels next time. They serve breakfast all day. They have Graze breakfast bowls and greens & grains bowls for lunch with your choice of protein. They have different tartines to choose from such as smoked salmon which has a dill schmear instead of guacamole. There's a chicken salad one that has a waffle instead of multi-grain toast. That also sounds terrific. They have sandwiches and a la carte items such as maple and bacon brussels. I want to try the brussels. That's next on my list. They have a small wine and beer list as well as a Mimosa and Bloody Mary. Service was great! There were 3 different people who checked on me to make sure everything was going well. It's located in a strip mall across from Plant High School on Dale Mabry, and near PDQ. The parking in front is not ideal. Trying to get out was kind of tricky. I didn't see the parking on the other side of the restaurant since I was heading north. I recommend you park on the north side of the building with the hand painted mural. I hope they open up a Graze location in Brandon one day. read more
