Your choices are pay $15 to park in the lot where this food truck is located, or park on the street where a waiting city cop is dying to give you a ticket. Yes even on a weekend. Exhibit 2: A bacon egg and cheese sandwich cost me $14, which is about double what it would cost in the middle of Manhattan. Exhibit 3: The best thing about the actual $14 sandwich was the eggs. Nicely fried; but it doesn't take a genius to learn how to fry an egg. The kaiser roll was the kind of cheap crap "bread" GARBAGE you would buy at Save-a-Lot. Speaking of cheap, the bacon was cheap ass bacon that was BEYOND SALTY. (We all know the saltier the bacon is, the cheaper the quality is.) The American cheese, well, that is what it is. And finally, Exhibit 4: Does it really need to take TWENTY MINUTES to make a bacon-egg-cheese on a Sunday? It's not like there was a line of ppl ordering (LOL I know why now!). Don't act like you are baking your own bread and curing your own bacon, cuz YOU AIN'T. In NY they would throw that crap in your face if you trying to make people wait 20 minutes for that. I was really excited to try out this place after lots of hype from friends and colleagues but I'm sad to say I highly underwhelmed. Now don't get me wrong I understand I'm just getting a basic breakfast sandwich (I ordered the turkey bacon, egg and cheese) but the bacon was soooo skimp. Like 1.5 MAYBE 2 pieces. My food did come out hot and when I was ordering on the kiosk the gentleman came to the window to see if I needed help ordering so that was nice, but for $11.50, the sandwich was truly not worth the price. No matter if you go to the location in Tampa or Brandon, you still get one of the best breakfast sandwiches in the area. We visited their downtown location after walking on Bayshore Blvd. Parking can be a little tricky if you can find some close by which we got lucky enough to get a spot up front. They have the same lineup as the Brandon location & Ordering was a breeze and we probably only waited 10 minutes for our food and drinks to come out. Now there is limited seating so we did wait until a couple got up so we could sit down and enjoy our food which was delicious. read more

Finally made it out to BEC to see what all the hype was about. I have to say the hungry man was definitely the best of the two items. We got the Bacon egg and cheese with no ketchup and then the hungry man. The BEC was ok, It wasn't anything to exciting. Honestly had this been all we got wouldn't have thought twice about coming back but when I took a bite out of the hungry man it was an entirely different experience. I immediately was like wow you have to try this and sure enough the you sure you don't want to trade came next. We almost went back to get another hungry man. Bacon egg and cheese sandwiches are my favorite breakfast item so I had to try a place with that same name. It's a food truck in downtown Tampa and the food was good. I had a bacon egg and cheese sandwich, obviously, and it was a pretty solid sandwich. Food came out pretty quick but you'll have to get it to-go because it's just a food truck in a parking lot, so no places to sit. Tried out this new truck in downtown Tampa serving up authentic NY style breakfast sandwiches. IYKYK! They have variety of menu items from breakfast to lunch and I tried them both! The chopped cheese was my absolute favorite! It was moist and had lots of flavor. The bacon eggn cheese sandwich was a close second. They do not skimp on the meat either. These sandwich are loaded! As a born and raised New Yorker I was hype to hear there was NY style coffee and chopped cheese. My wife tried the food here once and said it was good so we went back. Idk if it was a different cook or just having a bad day but when we tried it we were not pleased at all. Coffee mid and the sandwich had no seasonings or nothing. The hot dog clearly states on the menu that it comes with French fries. The employee attempted to charge me an extra $6 for fries. I pointed out the menu states it comes with fries. The employee advised it actually does not and the menu needs to be changed but she would honor what the menu says. After I paid the employee called me back up to the window and said the owner would not honor what the menu says and stated I needed to pay $6 more for the fries.
