Sue's NY Deli - Chicken salad veggie pocket - DO NOT SKIP THE MISO DRESSING!

Nonetheless, they were all pleasant (no eye-rolling at this establishment- which I hate to say seems to be the new normal!) and even let me sample something I had a question about... Chicken salad veggie pocket was fresh, crisp and full of fresh ingredients. The miso dressing is so good! Can't wait to be back in Buffalo so I can get it again. Decided to add a spinach feta pasta side, as well, but for my palate, the miso dressing is the star of the show! Keep up the good work, guys - thanks for the warm welcome for my first, but not last visit.

The menu is similar to before: daily combo, soup, sandwiches, wraps, salads, desserts, etc. Same great crew and good service. Waited about 5 minutes in line then another 5-10 minutes for food. I ordered the tuna salad "veggie"... I meant to get the salad version but she asked if I wanted "regular", and not knowing what that was, I agreed. Turns out that was served in a thin pita. Still good! But the pita was so stuffed with delicious foods that it fell apart, so I enjoyed it as a salad anyway.

But this is one…read moreof those places where I feel ok paying a lot right now because the quality is there and the sandwiches are big. I'm not sure how long I'll feel that way though! :-) I try to get something different each time we go. This time I got the turkey jalapeno club. Along with the side of fries we shared, it was enough for two meals. It was really delicious!! They roast the turkey breast themselves and the jalapeno bread is out of this world. I would definitely get this again. Matt got the jalapeno cheeseburger, which had two thick beef patties side by side on the jalapeno bread...at $18.95 it was actually a pretty good deal. He's ordered this before and loves it. He especially likes the fried jalapenos they add. The fries are house made and delicious. One order is enough for two. We'll definitely be back!

I had an assorted on sour dough. It was delicious and had plenty of meat. Coworker had the steak sandwich and was happy with it. Another had the fish taco and it was huge, more like a fish burrito and was even large to be considered a burrito.

My date loved the patties were seasoned and presented with a great bun that could withhold the burger patties and cheese. (We went to Red Robin a few days ago and the patty wasn't seasoned and the bun came out soggy) My dish was perfection. Mixed Seafood grille on top of rice. Very filling and packed with flavor! Our server, Roxanne, was amazing. I always ask to sit in her section. She brings great service with a great smile. We got there for a late dinner and it was hustling and hustling when we first got there but as we were dining the place slowed down as they neared closing. Parking here can be tough because there are so many stores in the lot. Place is cozy and quaint. It's much bigger than it looks from the outside as there is depth.

The menu has lots of vegetarian options, and many of the desserts are listed as gluten free. The French onion soup broth was delicious, even if the onions were only translucent and not caramelized. The ingredient that did not square with me were the croutons of seeded rye. Maybe a mistake? The color scheme is purple walls with grey baffles. The noise-abatement measures are somewhat nullified by the volume of the overhead speakers playing late 80's/ early 90's British Wave. (Spandau Ballet, anyone?) The waitresses were lovely, and worked well as a team.
