The home made bbq sauce is amazing, the owner is so kind and welcoming and the pulled pork is incredible!

Yay! Respectable BBQ in Seaside! I can be hard to please as a Midwestern raised BBQ snob but there are so many good things to say about my first experience at Gray's Comfort Q. The smoke on the meat was balanced, the rub was flavorful and the two homemade sauces were delish! I had the meat trio with pulled pork, ribs and brisket subbed in because the chicken was already gone. All the meats were tasty and the ribs were thick and juicy! I had Mac & Cheese(nice cheese blend) and Collards(soft but not mushy) as well as cornbread and took a piece of spice cake home. Besides having great leftovers to look forward to after a delicious lunch talking with Sean the owner was also a treat. What a lovely person! Please support him and help keep this local business busy in Seaside. PS Come early or your fave might be sold out!

My husband and I went here after leaving seaside looking for a good lunch to sit down and enjoy some comfort food since the weather was a bit muggy, the food was amazing, great home style comfort bbq! Service was excellent, couldn't have asked for a better owner to own a restaurant, very kind and hospitable, even played music while it was just me and my husband in there it was very nice! I've never had collard greens before but I definitely would recommend the brisket plate with collard greens and beans 10/10

The menu is limited but who cares? It's a BBQ joint!!!

A true BBQ rib joint gem now open operating in Seaside! Juicy and meaty, you sink your teeth into these thick pigsicles and tear the smoked, beautifully spice encrusted wonders! Everything is home made, according to Sean the owner, and the love, flavor, and taste just explodes on your tongue and in between your teeth, including the incredible BBQ sauces! This is the BBQ Ribs at its best! A food choice surely lacking and hard to find along the coast. He's only been open a few weeks (as of this review) and I'm definitely going to be back for more bbq rib goodness!!!

Bagels by the Sea - Review…read more We stopped into Bagels by the Sea while visiting the area and had a mixed experience. Food & Drinks I ordered a cinnamon raisin bagel toasted with a side of cream cheese and an Americano. Unfortunately, the bagel came with the cream cheese already spread on it and was wrapped up in a bag with other hot sandwiches. By the time we opened it, it was a bit of a soupy mess. My Americano tasted decent enough, but it was only lukewarm when it was served. I drank about half before it got too cold to enjoy. My husband ordered the Eggle Bagel with bacon and a white chocolate mocha. He said the bacon was good, but overall the sandwich didn't have much flavor. It was okay, but not something he would order again. The coffee was decent. My grandson had a cinnamon raisin bagel with cream cheese and a hot cocoa. His bagel ended up being a soupy mess as well because the cream cheese had melted after being wrapped up with the hot food. He did say the hot cocoa was delicious though. Atmosphere The atmosphere was cute, eclectic, and overall inviting. It has a fun little seaside café vibe that we enjoyed. Service Service wasn't terrible, but it also wasn't particularly welcoming. Staff weren't rude, but there wasn't much warmth either. One thing that puzzled us was that they toasted the bagel and immediately spread the cream cheese on it before wrapping it up, which made it pretty messy by the time we ate it. We also ordered our food to eat there but were given everything in a to-go bag, which added to the feeling that maybe dine-in wasn't really encouraged. Pricing Prices were about what you'd expect for a seaside town. Overall, it was an okay stop, but with a few small improvements in food prep and service it could be a much better experience. Would we return? Probably not. We would just look elsewhere for a better experience.

4.5 stars... well, let's call it four and a half with a raised eyebrow…read more Time's Theater and Public House has been part of my life since I was three years old. Three. I couldn't tie my shoes, but I could sit in that theater and stare at that big glowing screen like it was the second coming of Hollywood. From childhood all the way to 18, that place wasn't just a theater it was a landmark. It's iconic. It's got bones. It's got stories in the walls. I remember walking in one time and the screen was down, sports blasting on that big canvas like God intended. That's how you use a theater, folks. You don't buy a cowboy hat to hang it on the wall you wear it. Same principle. Now listen, they've fixed up the bathrooms . Nobody wants to change "historic" restrooms. Some things should stay nostalgic. Some things should not. The food? On point. Service? Solid. Decor? Still has that old-school charm that makes you feel like you're part of something bigger than just lunch and a beer. But here's where I tilt my glass and squint a little. Last few times we've gone in, that big beautiful screen is nowhere to be seen. Instead, we're staring at giant stainless steel beer kegs stretched across the back like industrial art. Not everybody came to admire a 10-foot aluminum torpedo. Drop the screen, man. Let it shine. It's a theater. If I wanted to stare at storage containers, I'd tour a shipping yard. And here's the kicker we walked in at lunch, only a couple folks inside. By the time we left? Elbow to elbow. Packed out. The business is hopping. Which tells me you're doing a lot right. I just think when you've got that kind of space and that kind of history, you let the screen fly. Give the people the ambiance. Don't buzzkill the magic with beer tanks. I love the place. I'll keep coming back. But pull that screen down and let it do what it was born to do. That's worth half a star right there.

I am into lagers and they had more than 1! Yay! I usually am only finding one at different places. I had a sampler tray and got all of the lagers. The place has a huge theater-sized screen and they were playing a game on the screen. The lights are kept on so don't think it is an actual movie theater style. They have tables. The drinks were good and the atmosphere was nice. I will go back. ... .. ..... .. ....
