Gravy has made an inroad in the community primarily as a breakfast place and with good reviews, so we'll assume breakfast is good. Located in a nice strip center with lots of parking, Gravy is open until 2. Lunch is available and so 5 months ago we went for lunch since lunch is more our thing. We were given a sample of their raved about zucchini bread and it was delicious. Nice touch that. My husband ordered a Wedge salad and a Club sandwich. I ordered the Friday Fried Cod. I'll start with my fish. I used multiple layers of napkins to try and absorb the oil from my fried fish. It was not only greasy but dark brown and fried hard. It came with a paper medicine cup of Slaw and some Tater Tots for $16. I could have tried to send it back. Some days you just aren't up to it. My husband's $16 Paseo Club was an ordinary wheat bread sandwich with turkey, ham, cheddar, swiss and bacon with the obligatory extra piece of bread, lettuce and tomato. See photo below. $16! With a few slices of fried zucchini as the side. His Wedge salad was $4. And tasty, I was told. Service was friendly and helpful and the place was comfy. It was pretty busy when we got their. Our waitress seemed to be in a bad mood from the jump. The food is absolutely amazing, we got the burger and eggs with boiling. It's all absolutely amazing. We lucked out that the original place we were going for breakfast was closed for renovation. This spot was cute the staff was attentive, we were told there would be a 15 min wait but were called in less than 10. The waitress brought us zucchini bread to try and it was delicious. The food is delicious!The biscuits are buttery, the pancakes are fluffy, the fried chicken is perfect and the coffee is hot and fresh. Also, they have great vegetables (try the zucchini). I have been here several times with friends trying to enjoy breakfast together with good conversation. The music is so loud that trying to carry on a simple conversation is next to impossible.
