Stopped by today, my husband and i decided to try something new. Wait time for both of us on a busy Sunday morning wasn't too bad at all! So yay to the staff for pushing tables. We tried the deviled eggs again. Ugh!!! It just hits. It might be my fav thing now. We tried the spicy chicken and waffles. The waffles had bacon bits in the batter too so that was different.. I felt maybe because they were really busy the flavor wasn't there. I've had the spicy chicken before and absolutely loved it. But this time... mmmm.. it just lacked flavor. The heat was there but flavor wise it felt a little short. The waffle was really good though! Now for my husband burrito, I would say portion wise it's great! It is kinda messy though. it came with chorizo,eggs, tomatoes and other veggies (can't remember, sorry). Again, I felt it was very bland. Almost like it was missing some salt? I'm not sure. We still ate it but it also fell a little short. Idk. ‍ Coffee? Gooooood Waffle? Goooood Deviled eggs? Goooood Chicken? Umm today didn't hit , same with the burrito. Will I still continue to come? I was not pleased at all with my last visit to this restaurant. I ordered a breakfast that included sourdough toast and avocado. I was charged for an extra piece of toast and an extra charge was given to the avocado because I said I would like the entire avocado please. I was charged $7.50 for avocado and $3.00 for the toast which would have been the cost of and entire sourdough loaf. These up charges were racially motivated, I chose not to perpetuate the anger I received from wait staff and manager, by mentioning what was stated to me during my meal.. We dropped in for brunch at the recommendation of our friends. It was an overall good experience. It is very loud in there so if you want to converse with your company just be loud too. I think our waitress was Gabby. Very friendly and attentive. So I didn't get to get photos because we were served and just went it on the food. Everything just looked amazing! Nice portions too. My husband had the biscuits and gravy with hash browns and over easy eggs. The gravy here is really good, tasty with a nice texture. I had the Bacado omelette with fruit and grits. The grits were also really good and creamy. We also ordered a side of pancake to try and they did not disappoint. Great little diner, great food, and good service. Upon my arrival, I had already taken the liberty of joining the waitlist through Yelp. I was informed that I should check in at the front desk once I arrived. I proceeded to do so and was then advised to wait in my vehicle due to the crowded interior. Shortly after I departed, I received a notification indicating that our table was prepared. Upon re-entering, I was informed that I would not be seated unless my entire party was present. At that moment, I decided to step away from the situation to ensure I could respond as appropriately as possible. I then contacted my party to ascertain if they still wished to dine, and we collectively decided to proceed. Consequently, I had to rejoin the waitlist and await our turn once more. Ultimately, we stayed, and our server provided exceptional service. The food proved to be quite enjoyable, and the excellent service from our waitress significantly compensated for the initial difficulties. As a general suggestion, it would be beneficial to ensure all policies are clearly communicated to prevent any misunderstandings. I fully comprehend that the establishment can be quite busy, particularly on a Sunday. Nevertheless, implementing a more streamlined system to accommodate all guests might be advantageous. read more

The holidaise sauce was rich and creamy. My friend had pancakes, high were amazingly fluffy with a hint of sweetness. Those pancakes filled the plate! Crispy hash brown which was perfectly cooked. 3 pieces of crispy bacon. This place is new to Waxahachie. They did a wonderful job on design. The booths were very comfortable but the chairs left a lot to be desired in comfort. There's no way I could have sat in that chair for more than 10 minutes. Horrible choice in seating. read more

My wife and I ate breakfast, she had the Eggsquisite Skillet and I had the Denver omelette (w/bacon not ham). We also had the pancakes . The pancakes are the best I've ever had!!! The portions were so large we were full and took half home for another meal. We have also eaten at the McKinney and Rockwall locations. All locations we have eaten at had excellent service and the quality of the food is always outstanding. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Tip- come before 9:30 am. We went at 9 am on Sunday morning and had no wait and there were many open tables. At 9:30 am the people began coming in and by 9:55 there was a line outside the door. read more

I had a terrible experience. Our waitress name was Diana V and her service was not good because she was joking around and messed up our order. My boyfriend and I both ordered gluten free pancakes. His tasted very strange. The owner (I believe name was Mike), came by to check on service and wanted to correct the issue by remaking as waffles (using the same mix), but we declined as we were in a hurry to make an appointment. We got the check and noticed my boyfriend's pancakes weren't even gluten free. This affected his body for the whole day, ruining our Valentine's Day outing. My gluten free cinnamon roll pancakes were ok, a little sweet but they were decent. read more

My daughter and I found Eggsquisite Cafe quite by accident. Our usual breakfast spots were not open and she was verging on HANGRY! She asked Siri, "What is open NOW!" Siri sent us to the Eggquisite Cafe and the first thing I noticed was patrons exiting the cafe seemed to be in a good mood. As a dyed in the wool introvert, that is a good sign. Upon entering, the smells were delightful and inviting. We were immediately seated and Kimberly (Kim), our server greeted us with such a genuine smile and pleasant demeanor. I'm scoping out the place and notice how clean and crisp everything is. The staff was all smiles and helpful and looked as if they truly enjoyed working there and with each other. This is a huge plus in my book. I ordered the Veggie Skillet and Kat ordered Smoked Salmon Scramble. I have texture issues and sometimes eggs are a problem for me. NOT A PROBLEM! The eggs were light and fluffy. The veggies were fresh and prepared perfectly. My only regret is that I don't have 2 stomachs because I could not eat it all. Kat is a salmon snob and she was delighted with the flavors of her scramble. The young lady at the next table was rolling her eyes as the would take a bite of her dish in a manner of some resemblance of a scene in "When Harry Met Sally." All in all a wonderful experience. We were greeted at the door and seated immediately by the host (who was very handsome btw!). Our waitress, Paisley was so accommodating. She found me some caffeine free tea even though it was not on the menu. She checked on us just the right amount so we felt well looked after, but not bothered. The food was delicious and ready fairly quickly. I had the crab cakes Benedict which was Yummy! Forgot to take a pic of it but it was impressive.
