They got us a consultation really fast, and when our time slot was approaching we received a phone call and we really appreciated having a better idea of the time unlike many small businesses we have used. When they arrived, they really thoroughly worked and helped me understand what was going on with my unit. We had options, recommendations and great help. I really valued their approach in helping us understand (being people who don't know how appliances function) what was the issues and not just reecieving an invoice and a situation we don't understand. The temperatures and panel lights were working before he took the dryer apart and put it back together. We paid 364.00 for a new blower, pulley and belt in the dryer. Having no success with Allway, we called Avery Appliance, Adam (which we had used previously; he wasn't available when our dryer started making a horrible noise. That is why we sought another dryer repair company.). Finally, Adam was available, he came and did a diagnostic and noted that the belt was new, but the blower was used with rust on it and the pulley was the original one. Additionally, Allway Technician left out screws when putting things back together. Our invoice did not itemize anything. Do not use this company, they are scammers. charging new part price for used rusty parts and obviously not knowing how to put the dryer back together or they didn't care.

He never did. He finally showed up after the window. The communication with this company is ridiculously bad. Anyway he worked on the dryer, put it back in place, and told me to do a wash, then dry and let him know if the dryer worked, and left. But failed to reconnect the exhaust tube. I called Allway again and the tech called me back to harass me about calling his boss. For a single woman living alone this is not an ideal situation to be in. They've promised a refund. At this point I don't believe I'll see a penny but will report back if I do. Meanwhile I hate that this man knows where I live.

I got stuck with Bill the Appliance Guy through my home warranty company…read more I am very disappointed with the dishwasher installation service I received from this company. During the installation, the technician, Bill, asked me to turn off the hot water at the water heater because, according to him, he could not shut off the water at the valve under the sink. What was not explained to me was that the valve had apparently broken while he was attempting to shut it off. Additionally, the new power cord for the new dishwasher was also not used. I expect an installation technician to clearly communicate any problems, damage, or special instructions involving a new appliance. Unfortunately, that did not happen in my case. The lack of communication left me with additional unnecessary costs. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this company.
