Grateful Smoke BBQ is a small, local food vendor that was founded in 2013 and sells American wood-smoked meats and sides.
I was a customer of Grateful Smoke BBQ one time. The owner Charlie kindly chatted with me. His menu listed meats of brisket, pork, chicken, turkey disney, and burnt ends as well as sides of collard greens, macaroni and cheese, cornbread, and vinegar slaw.
I was not super-hungry and could not eat everything, so I asked Charlie to recommend something to order, and he said the Platter and extra sides, so I paid $40 for that. The brisket and the pulled pork were juicy, tender, and flavorful. My husband said that they needed some sauces, and some sauces were available. My favorite side was the nicely seasoned collard greens. My second favorite side was the vinegar slaw. The macaroni and cheese and the cornbread were spicy. I will have to try the few other meats at another time.
