Best ribs and sauce around. Ribs are tender and thick and cooked over a pit. Sauce is mild , medium, and spicy.

45 minute wait for 2 items is ridiculous regardless of quality of food. Only five other cars in lot at time.

And trust me, they sell out quick. Too bad they don't sell on Sundays like before a Steelers game (hint, hint),...or later in the evening for dinner (hint, hint). First, thank you to all of the workers wearing masks. I'll always support those local businesses that actually care about their customers and each other. Plus, the staff there is super friendly. Second, while it's great for their business, I'm not a big fan of their "call in" orders. Reason? You can be standing in line, looking at their menu, decide what you want, your salivating glands start their engines,...and one of the workers will come up to the menu board and wipe away a menu item you had your eyes on. Sorry Marty,...just a personal "beef." (Get it?) First stop, we got the buy-two-get-one pork chops ($14) and the half chicken ($8), each swimming in their BBQ sauce,...maybe a little too much sauce but they are generous in that respect. Now, I'm not sure what happened here. But I may have made a mistake by buying these around noon time then saving them for dinner. The chops were both fairly big and thick. We ended up reheating them in the microwave; not sure if this is what did it or they were just overcooked on the grill but the chops were really dry. As for the chicken? It was worse. Unfortunately, it appeared to be slightly under cooked, and the skin was leathery (again, possibly due to reheating in the microwave). The sauce? I got mild on the chops and hot on the chicken, and frankly we couldn't tell the difference between the two (maybe they made a mistake and gave us mild on both). Honestly, we just didn't enjoy the chops and the chicken, but to be fair, it may have been better eating these straight off the grill. Second trip, we had the hot pepper cheese kielbasa ($3.50), the ¼ lb cheese dog ($2.75), and the 1 lb sausage sandwich ($9). The buns are served on the side (a nice touch so things don't get soggy). Things were a lot better this time. We liked the kielbasa - good flavor, nice snap to it. Worth the price. The cheese dog was OK. Sliced down the middle with what looks like American cheese mixed throughout. The lighter shade meat looks like a mix (pork, chicken, whatever); I'm guessing it wasn't 100% beef. We really liked the 1 lb sausage sandwich. Y'know how some places say they have hot sausage, then you bite into and there's nothing? Well, this sausage actually has some spice to it! Top it with their hot sauce and now you've got something. We actually split it into three's and it was well worth the price. The extra large bun they provide was much appreciated. The sauce the second time around was also much better and easily discernible. The mild sauce on the kielbasa and cheese dog had little more peppery bite to it than the last go 'round, but the hot sauce definitely lived up to its name. Third go 'round we got the ribs (half slab - $14) and the pulled pork (1/2 lb - $6). If you order the ribs, you're gonna need the sauce. We tried eating them without the sauce,...and all we tasted was charcoal. We'll put this on the "DOA" list ("Don't Order Again"). The pulled pork was a different story - THAT, my friends, was some good stuff. I'd recommend asking them for an extra bun for this order. You can definitely get two nice sized sandwiches out of what they give you. Or, head to Foodland next door, pick up some slider buns, and share the love with your friends and family. You can get the sauce served on the side in a relatively large in a container with your choice of mild or hot sauce. We had extra so we froze it, thawed it out and served it on some homemade wings (hint, hint). I was leaning towards giving them a 3 out of 5, but based on their customer service and me possibly making a mistake reheating the chops and chicken in the microwave, I decided to give them a 4/5. The reason - I always ask myself this question,... Would I go back? I actually would,...but I'm going there with the philosophy "if it ain't going on a bun, I ain't ordering it."

I can't tell you how excited my wife and I were to finally go here. We'd been seeing the pictures…read moreon social media of beautiful and interesting food. Based on those posts, we expected somewhat of an elevated experience. We couldn't have been more disappointed. We were there on a lunch buffet day. It was a health code nightmare. If no one got sick from that buffet food it was pure luck. Nothing was covered. The buffet table had no heat except lamps. The potatoes and green beans were cold. I didn't try the chicken. The temperatures were all off, generally stone cold. The Italian beef looked absolutely disgusting, red and dried out. The wedding soup was literally sitting on a table in a metal pan unheated. The iceberg salad sat on the same table also not cooled and the cups of ranch dressing sat unchilled and uncovered next to it. The pastas were both cold. The Alfredo was bland but the marinara was good. The pizza looked good and was hot, but I didn't like the texture or flavor. My wife thought it was average pizza. We had higher hopes for the BBQ platter since it was coming from the kitchen. It was simply ok. Despite waiting quite a while for the platter, it arrived lukewarm. Assuming BBQ is made ahead of time, heating it up correctly is about the only thing that needed to happen, yet it did not. The pulled pork and brisket were ok, nothing special. No dipping sauce was served for the brisket or turkey which was odd. The pulled pork was drizzled with sauce. I don't like turkey so I didn't eat it. We both agreed that the green beans side was by far the best food of the meal. The server came out of the kitchen with the meat platter, but stopped to scoop cold green beans from the buffet. I had to ask for them to be microwaved. After bringing the food temperature to staff attention, they only charged us half price for the buffet. The effort was appreciated, but they shouldn't have been serving anything from that buffet except the pizza. The place was clean, but they were clearly having staffing issues. Ambiance was a 3 out of 10. I had wanted to return another time to try a crab dish, but that is highly unlikely. The worst part was while waiting to pay my bill for a bad meal, I got to watch several beautiful pictures of amazing food pass by on the lobby tv screen that don't resemble anything I saw or ate here today. It literally looks like another restaurant's ads.
