I utilize your service and delivery and by far the best. Also the medication was done in the fast and quickest way to obtain. Also your team are excellent and knowledgeable in the prescription and note that they inform you regarding some issues that are preventative and this experience outshines the rest. I've been using this pharmacy for years. Literally since I was a child in the 80s. While the surrounding neighborhood has changed, the pharmacy always remained a family oriented personalized neighborhood spot. The employees were always polite, organized, and while some were young, you can tell they knew they had to prove themselves. Now, it seems as though the employees are not expected to meet half of that standard. The phone rings longer before they answer. When they do, you're often met with laughter and chatting as if you're interrupting a social conversation, and if there's an issue with your prescription, expect an attitude. This was never the case, but sadly it is now. If I wanted this experience I'd go to CVS. Their standard of care has declined and I blame it strictly on the shift in expectations for their newer employees over, I'd say, the last year. read more

Awesome caring pharmacy staff at Grassy Sprain Pharmacy. Also, the entire pharmacy and store along with the vaccination area is spotless !

Went in for some products I've been looking for and They had exactly what I needed and very helpful!

Get this -- a review from someone who's never set foot inside the store! Among their services, the pharmacy will notarize documents. I'm disabled, and going through a bad patch, although truth be told, I probably could have made it in to the store with a walker. My wife was concerned, and went in first to make sure a chair was available and scout out the situation. She spoken to Steve, apparently the owner who does the notary work. He took it on himself to come out, walk 50 feet to the handicapped space where we were parked, and started to do the work. It gets better. Much to my chagrin, we didn't have a pen, forcing him to walk back and return with one. All for the pittance he receives for his notary work. I cannot thank him enough. My wife tells me the store itself is spacious, clean, and well organized. I can't comment on prices, but if you think you're getting get good value from Walgreen's or CVS, think again. The CEO of Walgreens made over $28 million dollars two years ago. Who do you think is paying for that? I'm guessing Steve doesn't take in quite that much. Please patronize his and other single-owner small businesses. They're the lifeblood of our community. And -- insufficient as they may be -- my sincere thanks for helping us. read more

My wife and I have been going to Grassy Sprain Pharmacy for many years and it has always been an excellent experience. All the people there are friendly, and very willing to be helpful. The owner of this store has gone out of his way to be of service to us. And, we are grateful for having this pharmaceutical source so close by. Thank you, Anthony for creating such a great atmosphere. In a world that is becoming more and more detached from direct human contact, there are still places around that allow you to connect and engage with other human beings. I am grateful for that. read more

SCAM!! I ordered 3 different products on their website, with all products being under $5, the order still came out to $30. My order was supposed to ship on Friday. That Friday, I got a phone call from their shipping department. They informed me all 3 products were out of stock, even though their website said they were in stock. The guy said they were going to issue a full refund. I'm still waiting.... read more

Grassy Sprain Pharmacy - $5 at CVS, they tried to charge $125. Avoid this place and go to a reputable pharmacy. - Drugstores Near Me - Yonkers, New York

Comprehensive pharmacy that has everything, delivers, knows you personally and gets you what you need. They had a vaccine no one else wants to carry. Thank you grassy sprain. They deliver. They are very friendly. This is what a pharmacy should be and all used to be. A shining star in the midnight of chain drugstore mediocrity. read more

I went in for an eye exam for the dmv. The gentleman that helped me was great. My one and only issue is one of the pharmacy reps was assisting a customer on the phone and when the call finished she said some inappropriate things about the customer very loudly for all to hear. I guess she is the owner because no one said anything or addressed it. In this crazy world and time I just want a safe, pleasant and quick experience. read more

Never did I think I would experience such blatant discrimination in 2019 at Grassy Sprain Pharmacy! I waited patiently 15 minutes for the one person in the store whom could take measurements for a prescribed item from my podiatrist, bundled up in my Pom Pom winter hat, jeans & Ugg boots. In walked an older woman well dressed and Caucasian, needing the same service. I tried politely explaining how I had been waiting there, as the pharmacist had advised, for the same service. The man that was to take the measurements looked at me up and down, with attitude said "well I'm here now but can only take care of one at a time", walked passed me, and proceeded to take her measurements first. So I walked out furious. Perhaps had I been carrying my Columbia University degree, Coach bag, or Morgan Stanley work ID, things would have been different. I will NEVER patron this store again!!!! read more

I did not have prescription plan (something went wrong with my next coverage at the time) and had to use Good Rx coupon. The pharmacy I used to go for decades somehow could not honor the GoodRx coupon for the medication I needed badly in the beginning of April this year. Grassy Sprain Pharmacy was much farther than the pharmacy I used to go but I had to travel to get the big discount. (I wasn't used to paying so much money for medications.) I was pleasantly surprised by the professional staffs and their attitude serving the public in need especially in the midst of Covid 19 crisis. The size of pharmacy and the vast amount and varied supplies related to health care were truly impressive. I have gone few more time since the first visit and I have not been disappointed! read more

This is a popular pharmacy in the area. They have made renovations recently and reorganized the set up inside. These changes have made huge improvements in regards to wait time. Also the new set up makes it much less crowded while you wait. They have also made chairs available, before the renovation there were like three chairs in a corner near the pharmacy door. It also seems they are much faster preparing and getting prescriptions out to customers. I think this place is actually more affordable than a few other pharmacies in the area. The only issue is that the parking lot is one way and there's a sometimes a lot of traffic on Central Ave so making a turn to head west can be difficult. They also deliver locally free of charge which is great if you can't actually get to the pharmacy. read more

They had the post-surgical supplies I needed when I needed them. I I have gone there several times and they've been very nice.

The pharmacists and staff at Grassy Sprain are fantastic. They are helpful, knowledgeable and very patient. They deliver to my 90 year old mother to always make sure she has the medication she needs. Grassy Sprain is a gem. They jump through hoops to find the specialized eye drops that my mom needs to keep her vision. Their efforts on my mom's behalf are very appreciated. read more

Good, convenient neighborhood pharmacy. They deliver, which makes it a good choice over some of the larger pharmacies. My sister-in-law doesn't drive, and although we help take her to doctor's appointments, having a pharmacy that will deliver is a good perk. The absolute best pharmacy. Great customer service, fast, accurate. They are amazing! Great attention to detail.

BE CAREFUL OF PRICE. I questioned their price on an antibiotic I ordered (they charged over $28). They gave me a long song and dance about it must be my insurance. I knew it wasn't and had previously purchased the same antibiotic much cheaper. Well, the other day I got the EXACT SAME PRESCRIPTION filled at Walgreens for $12.48. So be careful. This was twice and more as much at Grassy Sprain. read more

I am all for giving local businesses a chance , however Grassy Sprain Pharmacy will be the exception. While the workers appear to be friendly and respectful I cannot say the same for the managers or people in charge . Their demeanor gives off an air of arrogance and unwillingness to listen better yet his demeanor. I believe I have a hypothesis about where this behavior is stemming from but since I have no other proof other than the way I feel when I walk into this store I will keep that portion of my comment to myself. The main guy acts likes he's to busy to hear your questions or concerns , he is always quick to cut you off like a Mr No It All . This attitude pisses me off . Secondly he has requested me to say out loud which medication I am picking up , like wow sir I thought this was supposed to be confidential. None the less after my 5 time here and feeling the same way at every visit , at this time I think it would be best to take my business elsewhere. The two stars are for the employees as their are nice and courteous. If you remove them out of this equation then I would have to give this place a 1 Good riddance Grassy Sprain ... read more

All employees including the manager are ghetto and lazy! The first time was a good experience for me but I noticed the cashier at the pharmacy rolls her eyes and sighs everytime someone calls, seems like she's always overwhelmed. I pick up prescriptions every month and every month I have to remind them how to bill my insurance while everyone acts clueless for the first 15 minutes attempting to get me to pay the full price when I should only be charged $1. I would not recommend this pharmacy to anyone! If u can avoid it u should. I picked up my compound medication for the last time and god willing I won't have to ever go back. read more

Seriously the best. I haven't been to a pharmacy like this in almost 20 years. After years of going to a CVS near where we lived we were hipped to this place by doctors that prefer it. There is NO OTHER pharmacy like Grassy Sprain. Here are the reasons why: 1. They are the most friendly and most courteous bunch of people you can ever deal with at a pharmacy. 2. I was unable to find a pharmacy to fill my son's prescription (it was a popular item) but leave it to Grassy Sprain, they filled it with no problem. I was relieved!!! 3. Grassy Sprain will deliver your prescription from Tuckahoe Road in Yonkers, to the Bronx!!! YES! To the Bronx - and this is great for my parents who no longer drive and cannot wait for me to pick it up for them on the weekends. 4. Great pharmacists who care. Only reason it's not five stars is that there is always a very long wait because everyone likes them!!!!

I originally purchased Shower Chair RTL12606 and after one use the seat cracked underneath and legs started to spread while I was using it. I contacted the pharmacy and spoke with Cristina and she recommended RTL 12505 a different model and I was pleased with the exchange. The model she recommended was more sturdier. They delivered the new chair to me and I paid for the difference. I was very pleased with Cristina's concern to help me while all the while she was apologizing for any inconvenience. My family has been part of the Grassy Sprain Pharmacy family for 20+ years. There isn't a single entity, in any business, that can have a 100% CSAT (customer satisfaction) all of the time. Anthony and his team come as close as possible. Recently a major pharma had an (all of a sudden) shortage on a vital medication, the only brand that my 12 year old autistic son will react well with. Anthony's team were extremely proactive with us including working with our son's neuro and the pharma manufacturer. He never missed a single dose! Also, being in the financial services industry myself I know the Payers side's business model well (the insurance companies). TRUST ME , you NEED a local "mom and pop size giant" on your side because the way that industry is going. We all are at the mercy "of the medical care system" of which the doctors, patients, and caregivers are all second to the wallets of the Big Pharma Mafia starting wth the RX manufacturers and their side kicks, the Insurance Payers, that take OUR money happily yet fight with us to pay the claims including medications. Hats off to Grassy Sprain Pharmacy for putting their customers first! Mike Frost read more
