I was dreading the hunt for a decent spot, but Life Alive turned out to be exactly what I needed! No line, warm and friendly service, and a cozy little corner booth with comfortable seating and pillows. Heaven after a long day of walking! I ordered the Swami grain bowl, which was absolutely delicious. Fresh, flavorful, warm, and comforting without feeling heavy. The coffee was great, too! I ordered, settled into my booth, had my coffee within a few minutes, and my food about five minutes later. Everything was reasonably priced, the atmosphere was wonderfully relaxing, and the whole experience was just lovely. Such a great find!

Feels very classic. Many items on the menu are vegan and you can make substitutions to make non-vegan items vegan. The drink game is on point, also. The only thing that has changed much about this menu is that the drinks have entered the new millennium.

I got clean eatz for most meals for a 6-week period when cooking wasn't an option, and it was super helpful. Oh my goodness! I was driving through the Cummings Center…read morein Beverley and realized that it was lunchtime and I needed something for lunch. I drove by one of the office buildings, 100 Cummings, and noticed a sign in the window that said Grass, Market sandwiches, salads, etc. I was like OK sure, I'll grab a sandwich. I walked in and then saw that they had a lot of ready, made sandwiches and soups, and salads, and I was ready to walk out because I needed to have some thing made fresh for me as I'm a pain in the neck and don't eat a lot of the garnishes that are put on sandwiches. The woman behind the register asked if she could help me. I told her it was my first time stopping in and that I was curious if I could get one of their sandwiches made my way. She indicated that the one that I referenced was premade this morning, however, she offered me two other options. The one option that she offered me was the Caprese Panini, which I added chicken. This was the most delicious sandwich I have had in a very long time. The Panini itself was amazing, the chicken was so so tasty, then the basil and the mozzarella I mean really what more can I say. I'm not sure how long they've been there, though I do know it is indeed owned by an individual that really needs the support of the community to stay in business. That's the way these small local shops operate. They need us to support them so that they can continue to feed us their magnificent food. I would've taken a picture except it just looked so good once I took my first bite. The rest just went down too easy! Sorry about that. So stop in and grab a bite to eat! You won't be sorry !

So good. But let's talk about their coffee. Beverly has so many great coffee places and they are all good. Atomic is one of my top two places. Coffee is smooth, and consistently tastes the same which I admire. The wait staff is great. My pet peeve, is that they have all these signs that say that the booths are saved for 2 people or more, and there are often booths with just one person working. Yes, some are waiting for someone, but many are not. Just frustrating cause when it is busy and I want a booth for me and my friends, I want a booth. Ok I'm done. Best sit and gather coffee place in the city. And surrounding cities.
