There's just something to embroidery and the way it encapsulates the beauty of a logo on fabric. I am often quite satisfied with just a printed logo until seeing a well embroidered logo on someone else's apron for example. That material lustful covetousness that follows after...sighs. So I finally took some time to look up local businesses that do custom embroidery and found Graphic Connections. I spoke with the owner Paul in person one evening shortly after they were closed for the day. He was very friendly and insightful to their process for handling custom jobs for their customers including other local businesses. They run two shifts: sales and design by day, printing and embroidery by night. We spoke through some details and fees involved and went from there. Zapporah took care of all the different quotes and questions promptly. Dave handled the design and proofs prior to production. The night crew handled production and a phonecall was received when it was ready for pickup. Turnaround time after the proofs was really quick! Moment of truth was when I finally picked up the end product - a few aprons embroidered with logos as a gift to another local small business. They were beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. There is no better place in the Greater Boston area to have silk-screening or embroidery done. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and eager to ensure your satisfactions. Their end-product is perfect! Half of my company employees approx. 250 full time and seasonal employees working in a high-stress environment that requires Hi-Viz (Cold weather) apparel that clearly states your organizational affiliation at all times. Graphic Connections has more than once met a seemingly impossible deadline and saved my procrastinating bacon! The other half of my company employees approx. 100 fulltime equipment operators that also require Hi-Viz apparel while working in various Cities and Towns across the Commonwealth, including Boston. The quality is out of this world! The t-shirts get destroyed from heavy use, but the silk-screening always remains intact throughout the abuse. As a desk jockey, I wear polos and button ups with our multi-colored, company logo embordered on the left chest. They are comfortable, durable and of the highest quality. What drew me in was the window display they have out in front of their store. I went in and felt welcomed and dealt with Jenna Tarabelsi. Jenna reviewed pricing and made suggestions. The finished T-shirts and sweatshirts came out excellent and I was able to meet the owner Paul DerBoghosian who was very nice and welcoming. Most importantly is I looked both on-line and shopped around making calls prior to coming to this shop. The pricing is very reasonable and the best thing is their turnaround time. Terrible service we had send a sweatshirt to get custom embroidery done and we paid the extra 25 for the fast pace they guaranteed which wasnt bad until we received the sweatshirt with an oil stain which they blamed it on us when we kept it in bag we ordered it with. And to top it off it came unfinished,we then sent it back they told us they could get it done fast however it has been a more than a month and they are telling us it is being processed right now and I called last week and they said it was already being processed and it still isnt ready, don't recommend it at all! read more

I wrote in to ask for the price of an extra-large black t-shirt with three white words on it. The price quoted was $90. A rush job would be an additional $50. Unless the shirt is made from vicuña and stitched with platinum thread and can do my taxes, something's not quite right. read more
