I was mis-lead by the used car sales person and the used car sales manager about my used truck I purchased having an alarm. It has anti-theft, but will not make a sound if anyone breaks into the truck. Now that the truck is sold, I am not getting my phone calls returned. read more

Drive 45 minutes to see a car, never tell us it's sold until we get there. Horrible customer service!!! Kevin was salesman

This service center has to be one of the least competent I have ever visited. I was taking my sister's car in on her behalf and she assured me that everything was taken care of over the phone; I simply had to get the vehicle there and hand over the keys. Upon arriving the entire lot is backed up with a mess of cars, but I find a place to leave the car until a talk to one of the many frustrating workers. Between being told that I didn't have an appointment - only to be confirmed that I did have one within two keystrokes- and being told that I would have to walk to the opposite side of the building to the other service desk twice (yes that means I was in the right place to begin with), I don't feel the urge to let more incompetent and rude people handle our car. read more

I purchased a Ford Escape back in 2014 and have it serviced exclusively at Grapevine Ford. I would definitely recommend to my friends to see Bob and Alfredo as they are the best in the DFW Metroplex. read more

These guys are the best, VERY prompt and attentive, the truck i needed was in stock, below other dealers price, and ready for me when i arrived. I bought my very first car here, Ford Escape 2016. Though we were at the dealership for a little longer than I wanted, I was overall satisfied with my first car buying process. The only issue I had with them was getting my license plate and sticker mailed. Even though I requested a specific address, they made a mistake and sent it to the wrong one. However, the lady was nice and sent me brand new plates with new numbers. I returned again to get my first oil change on the car, and though it took hour and a half (even though I made an appointment, not sure what takes so long to get an oil change), I was happy with the service. They were also able to tell me I had a nail in one of my tires and patched it up for me. read more

Beware! You will get screwed. I bought a certified used ford truck a while ago at this location, and the sales guy Ty was great! But less than 2 months later, my battery died and I had to get it towed to the service center at grapevine. The service center not only said I had a bad battery (keep in mind I bought it certified), but racked up almost 2 grand in charges on items that are explicitly listed as inspection points in the used vehicle certification process! So when I showed them the certified papers and contract, they attempted to say something along the lines of "well, we look at each piece, but we don't have to actually fix things if they need to be replaced". Next, they tried to blame ME for ruining the battery and not having it covered under the warranty by claiming that I power washed my engine block, which is absolutely ridiculous because I don't own a power washer, and I just bought the truck! So after pushing back, they finally agreed to pay for half the costs of the repairs. They said they would only cover half, because I already agreed to the repairs before I fought them, which is true, but that is because I know they needed to be done regardless before the truck was given back, because IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN DONE BEFORE THEY SOLD IT TO ME. I chose the certified used truck for EXACTLY that purpose. I have considered consulting a lawyer cause it is probably a systemic scam they have going, and I will never take it there to get serviced. I don't care if I have a warranty or not, they will find a way to gaslight me, I would rather pay an honest mechanic. If this is blatant false advertising, I don't know what is. read more

If you want terrible customer service, this is the place for you. I recently purchased 2 Ford's from another dealer. I was told to take my payoff info to Grapevine for a refund of the gap insurance of the Ford I traded in. I dropped the paperwork off at the front desk and was told they would take care of it. I called today (2 weeks later) to check the status. The receptionist told me they don't handle that. I needed to call warranty company. She said "your paperwork is here at the front desk, I can mail it or you can come get it". First of all, the girl should have told me when I dropped it off. Secondly, you can't call me? My phone number is the same as when I purchased 4 vehicles from you in the past 5 years. And if you could mail it today, why didn't you mail it back to me already? I have purchased 4 cars from this location. I quit using them because their service department is horrible. Now, I wouldn't use them because they have zero care for their customers. Seriously, the worst. read more

BUYER BEWARE BAIT AND SWITCH. Called to see if they had a car in stock and was quoted a price of $51,600. Showed up, checked out the car and they offered to sell it to me for $81,600 at 18%. We walked out not before their genius sales manager lowered the price to $61,600, only try to steal $10,000 instead of $30,000. I wouldn't buy a pack of gum off these con artists. read more

Bought a car here 8 months ago and have had nothing but problems out of my used 2011 F-150, but it was "Ford Certified", so now I'm stuck in debt to a hunk of metal with issue after issue!! I have had so many problems with it. It's been in and out of the shop so many times!! Each time something goes wrong, and I take it in, it cost me $100 just for them to look at it. Then, the issue may or may not be covered under warranty. It had a leak, which just recently got found and fixed, after months of them telling me they couldn't find the leak, which has made the inside smell like mildew. They wanted to charge me $100 for them looking for the leak. I refused to pay this, as they didn't find the leak!! Back when my vehicle still had bumper to bumper coverage, my floor mat bracket broke. I was told that it was being ordered and would be fixed. To this day, this still hasn't been taken care of. When the truck is cold, the starter hangs and turns over a lot trying to start, and sometimes it hangs and just turns and turns until I turn the key off and start it again. I took it to Grapevine Ford to be fixed, and was told "we can't duplicate the issue", so it's still not fixed. This last time it was in the shop, earlier this month, the 5.0 engine in it threw a rod. Took it in and they replaced it with a rebuilt engine. I got a call and was told that the rebuilt engine they just put in had a knock, so they had to replace that one too. So far, the engine has been fine, but two days after picking it up, on a Tuesday, the A/C blower went out, so I had to take it back to the shop, but was told they couldn't get to it until Monday, so I had to drive it with no A/C for four days!! EVERY time I take my truck to this shop, and it's ONLY been to Grapevine Ford, it has damage that wasn't there prior. I now have deep scratches in my dash, below the glove box. It looks like someone took something hard and just ground it in! The unlock button on my remote won't work now, just the lock button. I also now have a dent in the corner of my rear bumper. I should've taken pictures the day of dropping it off, as well as pictures as soon as I picked it up. Then I'd have the proof I need that THEY damaged it! I won't do business with this dealership again, even if they had the last working cars on the market!! As a matter of fact, after this experience, I don't know that I'll ever do business with Ford again. read more

Overall poor experience with the salesman and one of the sales managers. Dishonest and unprofessional. Will not recommend for business or return to this dealership. read more

I need to preface this review with the fact that I absolutely loathe buying new cars. Car dealerships and salespeople do not typically have your best interests in mind and I always feel like I'm going into battle to do what should be a mutually beneficial transaction. That said, we had a great experience working with Ty Young to purchase our new truck. He listened to what we wanted, wasn't pushy or condescending and made the process as easy as possible. He also had some great stories about growing up in the area. If you're looking for a new car, I'd highly recommend Ty and Grapevine Ford. read more

Update - I received a call from Jason on Tuesday. He apologized for not calling sooner. We had a nice conversation about the broken part, etc. I am changing my rating from one star to four. If Grapevine Ford's service department breaks something on your car, don't expect to hear from them again. After using another Ford dealership for twelve years, I thought I'd try Grapevine Ford to service my 1992 Cougar, a car for which it is difficult to find some parts. Grapevine Ford's service seemed OK the first time around when they mainly replaced some front end parts for over $2400. Jason's final text communication did seem a bit abrupt, however. Then, the following week, a small part fell loose from the front of the car. I returned to the dealership a few weeks later to address the front end part that fell loose and to install a door lock switch. I also wanted to take a look at the right door latch which was missing a small foam seal. Was it inside the door? Could they get a new one? Jason looked and saw where it was missing. The next day, the plastic surrounding the door latch was loose, apparently broken. Jason looked at it, went to find the technician and retuned to say he had left for the day. Jason told me he would call me the next day. Not hopeful they would be able to replace the plastic part, I was reassured by Jason's promise to call me; I would at least hear whether the technician wanted to take responsibility. And I would hear whatever their policy is pertaining to the situation. When I got home, I texted Jason with a link to the part on eBay, in case the information was helpful to him in any way - showing the value and availability of the part. The following day (Saturday), no call from Jason. I texted again and called and left a voice mail asking whether Jason was able to speak to the technician. No reply. I texted again, saying that I had left a voice mail. No reply. One would think that with the dealership having your email address and phone number with text capability, communication would be great. The only thing I got from Jason were their regular canned texts - "...the satisfaction with your current service experience is important...," "...thank you for trusting us with your vehicle...," "...please answer one simple question about your satisfaction...," "...take 30 seconds and tell us about your experience..." OK, well, you asked for reviews...First, I found Stephanie Maggio's email address to briefly describe my experience prior to writing this review. I sent her a screen shot of my texts and the canned responses. She promptly answered (on Sunday), thanked me for contacting her "...before filling out the survey..." and said she would forward my email to their service manager "...so that he is aware of what is happening." The following day, no call or any other response. So I can only imagine what their company policy is in this situation. Apparently, it's just to dismiss the customer's concerns and completely cease communication. The broken plastic part and how to make repairs is not really important in this situation. I was able to glue it. If it comes apart again, I can find a replacement. The problem is the lack of communication. Here are some suggestions for Jason and his service manager to consider for the future - Call the customer and say, "I'm sorry that we broke your interior part. It's our policy to not do anything else for you. Have a good day." Or, "I'm sorry. We don't think we broke the part and we can't help you further." Or, "I'm sorry that we broke your part. We want to give you $5.00 off on your next oil change." Use your imagination; there are many possibilities. My plan at this point is to return to the Ford dealership I previously used for twelve years to service the Mustang I bought from them. Maybe I'll take a look at their inventory to see whether they have another one. read more

Worse dealership in all of Texas. They have an addendum for all their new trucks and cars from 5k over MSRP to 20k over MSRP. Looked at a F-250 Platinum and when the sells guy came back, the price was 109k the MSRP was 74k. I laughed at them especially when he tried to explain it as its the MARKET. Ya right no its because I live in Westlake and you are trying to take advantage of individuals with money. They also had dealer add-ons tinted window and some Kahu. I said well I order one they wants to add 5k over on my order and plus the dealer add-ons. What kind of scam are we doing here? I've been doing business with Sam Pack Ford for 20 years and I stopped in to Grapevine Ford to check the price of a Ford F150 platinum they were quoting me. Let's just say I ended up buying my new Ford F150 platinum from Grapevine Ford and I've never looked back. I couldn't Believe how much less they were than Sam Pack on the same vehicle. Between the price on the truck, the interest with Ford motor credit, and the price of the extended 100K warrantee they were $9000 less expensive. I jumped on it laughing all the way to the bank. I will never do business with any other dealership when it comes to Ford trucks. When I took it in for the first oil change it literally took 45 minutes while I ate a sandwich in the café. Just to compare when I took my truck into Sam Pack for an oil change it would take at least 4 to 5 hours and I would have to use their shuttle service. When you look at the two side-by-side it's ridiculous, what a joke! Grapevine Ford forever for this guy! read more

While I don't think we had a 100% perfect car buying experience (who does) it was relatively painless! We visited this location based on a used 2014 Edge I found on their online inventory search. After a test drive and discussing a few numbers, a couple nearby purchased the car for the sticker price. For someone coming into this location for a specific car it was pretty disappointing but not the dealerships fault. They quickly brought around 3 very similar Edge's and explained the differences. I let them know there was another Edge available at a different lot that I was interested in and they pulled it up and pointed out the advantages and disadvantages of it. Since I had recently test drove one, I knew now what I truly wanted in the car which put the other car out of the running. Once we decided on one of the current options of available 2014 used Edge's the negotiation process wasn't bad. They came down some and we were happy with the price. Next came the financing part... I can't remember who we had but he seemed genuine. If you have zero idea about finance conversations I could see this process being daunting and potentially confusing. However, it's simply "do you want X, Y, or Z for $$$$". They print the papers for your review before signing. Need clarification? Ask! I don't feel like any questions we asked weren't answered fully. If you sign up for their email list you will receive coupons for oil changes and other services. Is it a few dollars more than a random oil change place? Sure. Do I trust their work significantly more? Heck yes! I've taken my car in for two oil changes and it's always been done and washed by the time I come back to pick it up. They also offer transportation to nearby places. I plan on keeping my Edge for awhile but we'll be back when it's time to trade it in or get another car. read more

Do not purchase a vehicle from this shady dealership. Spoke to Blane this morning, I got preapproved and agreed on a vehicle with Blane. He knew I was in Tulsa and rushed to confirm a time to get me to Grapevine soon, he pressured me to be there ASAP and assured me if I got there at 3PM today from Tulsa I would be able to purchase the vehicle we spoke about. After preapproval over the phone when he called me back he informed me some guy from Austin would be there at 2:30pm to look at it and if he doesn't buy it I have dibs on it. I asked if I could reserve it w a deposit and he said no and did not inform me of any reserve policy in place. We jumped in our car to beat this person from Austin (driving 4 hours from Tulsa). Because first come, fist serve, right? Not here. I followed up with him when I was 45 min away and not once did he inform me of the that "recorded calls" is the policy on how they reserve who gets to purchase the vehicle. Even though we beat the guy to the dealership they would not allow us to even view the vehicle to give this guy who may or may not of exist first dibs on this car. They have terrible customer service and blamed it on miscommunication. Of course they blamed it on us even though Blane failed to correctly inform us of their slimy policy reserve policy. I feel that Blane purposely mislead us to drive to the dealership and bait and switch us. Then he got another car salesmen out to reexplain the non-existent reserve policy that they use and informed us the Austin guy had driven 5 hours (compared to our measly 4 hour trip we made) and aleady agreed to all the terms and payment and everything over the phone when they didn't even give me the option to do that over the phone and I had a $9,000 down payment to hand over and would have bought the car sight unseen. These are typical slimy car salesmen. They would not take accountability and had another sales associate come out to agree with Blane that we did not understand their phone recorded policy, even tho we weren't informed of it until we arrived at the dealership. Now after reading the bad reviews I am so glad we did not purchase a vehicle from Blane or these guys. Of course after this review is posted on Facebook they conveniently have two people make positive posts about their dealership. read more

I will never bring my F-150 back to this dealership. Worst service I have ever dealt with in my 20 plus years driving Fords. Going to the dealership has made me consider leaving Ford in general. My 2013 F-150 was brought in for a 60k service and new front shocks. after $2200.00 I got about 2 hours down the road and my check engine light came on. Turns out my Turbo stopped functioning. Then my front end started making large grinding noise. I had a ford dealership in Denver fix the Turbo. Unfortunately, the front end issue after diagnosing, would take longer and is I was given the option to Drive back to Dallas and have Grapevine work on it. Clearly I made the wrong choice. I brought the truck back from my trip delivered it to Grapevine ford. My truck sat at the dealership for 2 weeks. I was called several times telling me they couldn't hear or find a problem. I went to the dealership and took the technician and the service writer out for a test drive and before I was out of the parking lot you could hear the noise and the tech goes I know exactly what that is. I asked really when didn't you find this earlier and he said it was written up as a rear end issue. Now my vehicle is beyond the warranty miles and I will have to cover the cost myself. I would never bring another vehicle to this shop. Oh and I gave them a phone number to call Phil Long Ford and get the diagnoses from them as they had done it already. You guessed it, they didn't call. I should have know better the last 2 times I have brought it in for a oil filter change and state inspection I have waited multiple hours only to get my vehicle and find that the inspection was never done and had to wait even longer. Oh, the free car wash that I never get because the unit is down or to many cars are in line, but o do they love showing the car wash was comp'd even though it wasn't washed. In conclusion I am filling a formal complaint with Ford Motor co. regarding Grapevine. I want Ford to know Grapevine is great for getting me to but a Chevy. A bad, bad experience from the time I walked in and waited for the receptionist to finally look up from her cell phone to greet me to the time I walked out the door, disgusted. Over the course of 2 visits to Grapevine Ford, the salesman offered me several cars out of my stated price range. I spent at least 45 minutes waiting for him to bring 2 cars to the front to test drive, even after I had called him and told him I was on my way to test drive and to please have them ready. I was quoted a price that they evidently had no real intention to offer. On May 13th 2019, I purchased a vehicle from Grapevine Ford in Grapevine Texas. I live in the Oklahoma City area about 3 hrs away. It is a 2016 Lincoln MKT, advertised as CPO, meaning it is supposedly "Lincoln Certified" It is supposed to go through a 200 point inspection with everything corrected or repaired as necessary. Lincoln Certified (CPO) vehicles are sold at a premium which is usually 10-13 percent above retail. I have a copy of the CARFAX which states that it is being sold as "Lincoln Certified Pre-Owned" The dealers website as well as CARGURUS also listed it as CPO. The purchase price was $27,000 before any additions which I did not haggle or complain about because it was a fair price for a CPO vehicle. I paid cash for the vehicle. It was not financed. I found a few items that I asked to be repaired, which the salesman, Dustin Springer agreed to. They had listed the car for sale before it had received the 200 point inspection. He said those deficiencies would be identified during the 200 point inspection and would be taken care of. It was about 5:00 in the afternoon and Dustin said they would not have time to detail and do the repairs before closing at 7:00. One item was an upholstery tear which he said would require them to order a leather piece for the repair. He sent us home in a loaner to OKC and said after all items except upholstery would be repaired when they would deliver the vehicle to us in OKC. They were supposed to call us at a later date when the material came in to repair the seat. We left in the loaner without a copy of the sales contract. The car was delivered the next day about 8:00 PM as promised. I could tell it had been detailed but since it was dark, inspected it no further. Upon my inspection the next day, I found that the upholstery has not been repaired, but that was expected. What I did not expect was that the other two items that Dustin promised to fix were not repaired. Upon contacting Dustin, he said that he had forgotten to tell the shop that those needed to be repaired. He said when the material came in for the seat repair that those items would be fixed. I assume at this point that the 200 point inspection was not performed or these items would have been discovered. Dustin Springer, the "salesman" has been contacted multiple times since, and always says the material to repair the seat has yet to be received. He appears annoyed when we ask about it My last contact with him was June 10th. In the meantime we have been in contact with David Fillmore, who is the "Used vehicle director" as well as Zac Grogean and Chaz Gilmore. The situation has been explained to all of them. No one will return our calls, texts or emails. At this point I assume that they are a fraudulent dealership and undeserving of anyone's trust. As I said earlier, Lincoln certified vehicles are supposed to be given a 200 point inspection and repaired accordingly. At the very least they should give me a 10% refund because they did not give me a Lincoln CPO certified vehicle as advertised. I was defrauded. read more

I purchased 2 vehicles from Grapevine Ford within 3 months for my company. One of my employees actually knew one of the sales guys there so we thought we would definitely be taken care of. This was not the case. We went and test drove a truck that was listed on the internet for a good price and left and told them to write up the paperwork and that we would come back and sign it. We were given the run around about the paperwork for a while and finally got it to us. The finance guy that is no longer there (Nick Power) put an additional $7,885.56 on extended warranties and bullshit on the first vehicle and $6,318.00 of bullshit on the second vehicle. Of course we signed the paperwork because we thought we where getting "taken care of". Obviously this is not the case. So I bought a truck that originally cost $24,900.00 and my final cost is $33,180.15. We just now received the paperwork to identify that all these extra charges where on the vehicles. They kept on saying they where going to mail them and or email the documents. I finally got them via email and had to go up there in person to dispute the additional charges. I am now cancelling some of the warranty extras but others I cannot. I am at fault for signing the paperwork but for no reason should I have been charged all of these extras as they where never disclosed. I am a resident of Grapevine and a business owner as well. Never would have thought that this would be an issue but I am now dealing with cliche "getting taken advantage by a used car salesman" syndrome. I even told them I needed to buy multiple vehicles for my business and would have expected better service all the way around. I will never do business with this dealership ever and would warn anyone the same. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!! read more
