Staff is fan freaking-tastic. Wi-Fi is really good, even have little outlets at the booths. We will definitely make this our go to, each visit. Prices are very good. A gem, in a darling town. Only order the big a$$ hotcake single, if you have two grown adults starving! It huge.

What a cute little farm style diner! We loved how clean and fresh this restaurant is, and…read morecomfortable seating for our larger group. We stopped in for breakfast and the food was delicious, and none of us left hungry! The portions were large, especially on the "big a$$ hotcakes" it was huge!!! I had the ham steak breakfast, which came with home style hash browns, 2 eggs and toast. The ham had great flavor, and the hash browns were cooked perfectly Some other tasty things that we tried amongst our group was the Denver omelet, and the French toast. We were all really happy with our choices. And there coffee was really good too! The service was friendly, and even though they were a little short staffed we were still well cared for. The prices were very reasonable, and the lunch and dinner menus looked like they had some great comfort food. Would highly recommend this restaurant!

I went with a friend for a birthday dinner on a Saturday night…read more First of all, the new decor is beautiful! It's classy without being pretentious. It's nice enough for a special occasion, but casual enough for family dining. The menu has been trimmed down, keeping some old favorites, and adding some new offerings. The staff was welcoming and very professional. The waiter (Joey) was attentive, yet not intrusive. The "Smoke on the Clearwater" cocktail presentation was stunning! I'm just sorry I didn't think to take a photo. It wasn't my standard drink, but I liked it very much. My friend ordered a custom cocktail and was very pleased with it. My friend ordered the Seared Sea Scallops served with Risotto, which she enjoyed very much. I ordered a Ribeye Steak. It was cooked exactly as I requested, but unfortunately, it was not tender, so I hardly ate any of it. After offering a substitute entree, (which I didn't accept because I was already pretty full), the waiter took it off the bill with his regrets. For dessert: The House Carrot Cake, and a Lemon Bar, both of which were beautifully presented with a sprinkling of gold foil. Generous portions and quite good. I hope the word gets around that this updated version of an old favorite is worth checking out. I am looking forward to my next visit!

Modern upscale renovations that highlight the bar area instead of the amazing view…read more The prices are extremely high, not just for this area but in general. I could forgive the high price if the food quality matched, but it doesn't. It's possible that the handheld items are better than the entrees, since customers seemed to be happy with their onion rings and sliders, but the entrees were disappointing. I tried the steaks, which were over cooked and lacked salt. The best thing on the plate was the potato cake, and for a $56 -$52 price range i was left disappointed. The server explained the steaks are sous vide and all come out the same temp. Not everyone likes the same temp, and at the prices listed you should have an option to choose. Hopefully the menu is worked out and food quality improved, but if I were to go again I think I would stick to the bar and grab a cocktail.
