Nice restaurant with saloon style decor. Comfortable seating and clean restrooms. This place touts a full bar with half a dozen craft beers on tap. There is plenty of comfortable seating. The squeeze and i split the finger steaks with an onion ring upgrade. A little gristle in one piece, but it's hard to find finger steaks without that. Good breading with a nice mix of spices. The onion rings were great, no pull out of the onion. This was pleny of food for two as a quick lunch. We just had water to drink, and they gave us our own pitcher. Service was great, and the server/waitress/bartender was really friendly. She filled my cold cup with a coke so I didn't have to stop at a gas station before leaving town. There are very few restaurants in town, apparently there are a few undergoing change of ownership, we were referred to this restaurant by a friend who had been in town several weeks prior to us. This is walkable from most of the motels. There were differentiating reviews but we gave it a 5* review because the service & the food were both excellent! It's had plenty of seating, many tables for 6, a pool table, a bar & several TVs. I had the Rodeo burger & it tasted fresh & was excellent! My husband had the 12oz ribeye & it was cooked perfectly to his request. I didn't try it but it looked sooo good! We came here late September & it started getting crowded right about 5:30. We will definitely come back in the spring on our next stay! read more

Fries, onion rings & salads for side dishes. Of our party of 5, no one really enjoyed their meals. Both burgers, the fries, and pickle spears were sadly over cooked. The service was friendly. Not really checking in between everything. I finished my water quickly since we came in from the heat and never got a refill. We ordered fish and chips and the tri tip steak bites. Mostly because the prices were very expensive for everything else. Glad we didn't go more expensive because it was very mid. The steak bites were good with a sweet chili sauce on the side but about every fourth one was so chewy, it was hard to get through. The fish and chips could have been out of the freezer, which might be our fault for being surprised but we thought since fishing was so big that it would be fresh. The only restaurant open in Riggins in September. We got a table right away, drinks pretty quick afterwards. 15 minutes after we got there the customers started pouring in. Instead of seating everyone who came in the put people on a waiting list was very honest about the wait time. We got our food about 40 minutes after we got there but it was hot and good. Wait staff was very attentive. Small town place with weekend challenges and I have to say they did a great job. Would definitely come back. read more

Food is decent but over priced & the atmosphere isn't great unless you're into dive bars with drunk people talking belligerently loud & a seriously strong smell of cigarette smoke. Definitely don't go here if cigarette smoke bothers you or if you have children. They have a "smoking room" but the whole place smells like someone is actively smoking in it so bad that we had to get our food to go or risk having an asthma attack & having to spare my child from using the hood on his shirt as a filter for the smell. We went into this establishment on 8/16/25. We were met by the RUDEST bartender, the woman with the heart tattoo on her chest. She was absolutely demeaning and spoke down to us. Our waitress, who was 5 months pregnant, was very professional and very good at her job. She was very pleasant and was the hardest working person there that evening. We go to Riggins a lot and have never been treated so poorly in that town like the way that bartender treated us. We will not be back. read more

I am a Veteran. Denise and I were refused service on September 10, 2025 at 6:46 pm because I have a Service Animal. My little terrier was on leash, wearing her standard red service vest. The waitress refused service to us and stated "we can't have a dog in here". I explained to her it was a Service Animal and it was illegal to refuse us service. Oh my God, I can only imagine how good a burger from this place would taste after the popular 27 miles Seven Devils Loop hike. Good thing I'm about to find out later this summer! Even without a strenuous trek, this place hit the spot so damn hard! It really didn't look like much from the outside, but it is 10000% out-of-this world GOOD. We rolled in at around 7:45 P.M. Friday evening. The small building was cramed with local patrons chowing down on amazing looking burgers. To start the meal I ordered a Coke & Whiskey (Jack Daniels, $5.50) and husband got a PBR ($2.00). Not very long after arrived our food. For some reason my dumb ass thought Pickle Fries ($7.95) would be enough to fill me up and then I saw the gargantuan burger my husband choose. The Blowout Burger ($12.95) was a masterpiece stuffed with hot, crispy bacon, pepper Jack cheese and spicy deep-fried jalapeños. I was so jealous I had to steal a few bites and made sure to savor every bite. The jalapeños must of had cream cheese or something in them because they were super creamy and melted in your mouth. The burger didn't taste like it was frozen, but I'm sure it was, which made it even better. Hands down the best damn burger I've eaten in a long time. As for the pickle fries, I wasn't the biggest fan. They ended up being spears which is fine I figured they'd be similar to French fries. A lot of it was just soggy stripes of pickles with bits of fried grease. I wouldn't order it again. But nonetheless Seven Devils still gets a fat 5 outta 5 for me and I can't wait after completing the namesake mountains hike in a couple mouths. read more

Someone from town suggested we try out this restaurant and I'm so glad they did. It was a Sunday afternoon and there were very few people in there but we were greeted by Kim, the bartender, right away and were told to sit wherever we'd like. We sat next to the pellet stove just for the warmth. Aside from the blinds being rather dirty, the rest of the place was surprisingly clean for a bar. We ordered mozzarella sticks as an appetizer and they came out quickly. The menu has quite a few options, but the prices did seem a bit high IMO. (The mozzarella sticks were not worth $10 but they tasted good) They did have a great deal called the BFD (burger, fries, drink) for $8.95. I ordered that and it was very good. My daughter ordered a chicken sandwich and added bacon to it. We also had my 13 month old grandson with us. There were plenty of high chairs available and a great kids menu. All in all it was a great experience and we left full and happy. Kim was wonderful and attentive even despite running the place by herself. Still completely satisfied and so much that we keep going back! Best burger ever!! Drinks are real drinks with a splash of mixer...they don't mess around. Amazing staff although we were sad Christy wasn't working when we went this time...she's incredible! We did meet Michael though and he's been there a long time too and also great! We had burgers at lunch and fish and chips for dinner...both were amazing! I cannot visit without having at least one burger! Played pull tabs and won the usual $4...haha! We will always make this our go to whenever we're in Riggins...just a great laid back, friendly, excellent food, with good classic rock, kind of place where the locals, rafters, campers, and fishermen hang out and have fun! If you are looking for good spare ribs, don't order them here. I ordered a full rack and could hardly cut into meat let alone eat it. The baked potato I was also hard. I sent the order back. Our waitress, Missy, was very accommodating. The next came out with only half a rack. I mentioned this to our waitress and she adjusted the bill. I also ordered BS Shrimp appetizer for $18. Good option for burgers and beer. We were there Labor Day weekend, and something was wrong with the draft beer, so it was all dispensing hot...bummer, so I had to settle for bottles. Otherwise an excellent beer selection. Food is good. Meats are smoked in-house, and the rack of ribs is *generous*! The wing appetizers are also smoked, which is a unique way to flavor them. Probably best to get them with BBQ sauce and not buffalo sauce. Fries are good, seemed fresh-cut, and burgers about average. My family ate there last summer, and we'll probably be repeat customers anytime we're in Riggins for more than a day or so. read more

We were hungry after a long drive from Montana. We stayed in a cute little house within walking distance from this steakhouse. My husband & I with our 2 kid's walked over to have dinner. We sat for a good 10 min without menus & no greeting. several employees walked by us but not one said hello or offered menus so we decided to leave. A great stop on the drive between north Idaho and the Boise area. A kid friendly, dive bar and restaurant. We all ordered the burger special. Very disappointed. Apparently half their staff was at an off site event. Only one cook for the whole restaurant! We waited 20 minutes for a server to come to our table, she did bring drinks promptly, but an hour after our order was taken we still didn't have food. Then the grilled chicken on the salads was ice cold! The server was matter of fact about it stating "I thought all chicken on salad was served cold". It wasn't as though it was grilled and sat out, it was taken from a very cold fridge and put in the salad. We asked for our bill as soon as we were served, 30 minutes later still no bill. Visited here while we were at a car show and it didn't disappoint. If you're looking for a small town pub n' grub, this is the place. The burger was surprisingly good, and for bar food/American fair it checked all the boxes. We didn't have the most prompt service, but in their defense we did decide to sit around the corner/out of sight to avoid the common crowd. Having lived in Idaho before this was about as 'for the locals' as you can get. It's a rustic hang in a small town, and things aren't done as uptight and formal as city standards may be. But I liked this, it adds a personal touch you just don't get to find in chains or larger venues anymore. I recommend it, wet your whistle, grab a burger, and enjoy some Riggins culture. read more
