However, what I didn't expect was 5 star food and service. The food is outstanding and the portions are huge. Probably one of the best Ribeye steaks, I have ever had. The server said it was cut that morning. The meat was thick and juicy and cooked exactly the way I ordered it. The steak fries were were seasoned and equally very good. The meal comes with a huge salad that has all the trimmings. My wife had the salmon which she said was the best she has ever eaten. The baked potato was epic also. They have a great craft beer selection and a full bar. The service was friendly, professional, and prompt. The prices were very reasonable considering the amount of food that you get. It was huge and perfectly cooked medium rare. Add a large loaded baked potato, a salad, and bread with herb butter and I was stuffed. We took quite a bit with us to have steak and eggs tomorrow morning. Heavens Gate is definitely worth your time if you're coming through town. The beer was great and so was the food!
