The menu has classic selection of food but we were here for breakfast. My daughter and I both had omelettes: one chili cheese (recommended by our waiter) and the other the farmer's, both are full of flavor and hearty so don't be surprised if you skip lunch. Their chili was a nice balance of bean and meat just wished there was more cheese. The gravy on the farmer's was smooth and not too thick & heavy. The sides of potatoes and toast puts you over into carb overload. Thank goodness my daughter and I decided to walk off the food afterwards. I'll have to make a point to come back to try their lunch or dinner menu next time in town.

I'm from Olympia/Seattle WA area, so I know my food. Lodgepole is grossly underrated. The Gnocchi, bacon, ice cream from Ferdinands, and the rigatoni are the best foods I've ever had. The oysters are from where I grew up, so they always make me happy and are incredibly fresh. I will never stop raving.
