A great selection of really big burgers. They tasted awesome and you won't leave hungry.

We were staying nearby and decided to give this little place a try. They started us off with a small tray of really good peanuts that disappeared quickly. A couple of us ordered milk shakes and they were great! Burger was a nice thick patty, but cooked through medium well. The French dip got raves from the 12 year old and the fish sandwich came with 2 nice battered pieces of fish on a hoagie roll. All came with fries that were just so-so. The disappointing thing that happened was that despite repeated inquiries, my salad didn't arrive. Finally I decided to just give up because everyone was through eating and we had stuff to do. Just as we were getting up to go pay the bill the waitress came out of the kitchen with the salad. They offered to box it up form me and comp it, along with the shakes! That was pretty descent of them!! I would still recommend them if you are in the area. read more

This was our first time to the Waha Grill, and we're happy we made the trip! We will definitely visit again sometime. The burgers and sandwiches were very good, but the onion rings were a disappointment (many of them were 95% batter and 5% papery onion skin). But the food was hot, and the drinks and condiments were cold. The service was quick and friendly. read more

Motorbike rides and the Waha Grill go together like cookies and milk. But better. Gorgeous ride to get there. You pull in and know you'll love it due to the horse shoe pit and picnic tables. Cruise inside and the waitress let's you know you can sit anywhere, and offers you a cold round of whatever beers they have on hand. Basket of peanuts and a beer later, your food arrives and this is where happiness begins. Shared a Spicy Waha and a Bacon Avocado burger. Bother ordered with fries (which are fantastic. The heat of the Spicy Waha is perfectly balanced! The was delightful as well. Go here. Support them. I hope this place is around for many riding seasons to come. When I cam here the first time the buddy who brought me handed me a 5inch stack if napkins. "Seen me eat?" I ask. "Nope... seen the burgers" was the reply. Holy smokes. Alright, Lewiston you convinced me, my daughter and I took a trip to the Waha Grill for what everyone keeps saying is the best burger in the valley and boy were you all correct! I got the cheeseburger with grilled onions and blue cheese and it was AMAZING. The meat had wonderful flavor and there was alot of it. The onion rings were equally delicious! It was a bit pricy, 40.00 for two people (burgers, rings, canned soda) but it was worth it for the great food and oustanding service we received (even though they were packed and only had one waitress). We will definately make a the trip again very soon. What a great drive it was! read more

I wish I had read the reviews first! We stopped here on our amazing northwest road trip and the countryside is beautiful but the food here wasn't. I like my burgers medium rare and my burger was so overcooked it could have been a charcoal brisket. The salad greens were sad and wilted. I wasn't expecting gourmet food but good honest bar and grill food and this sure didn't have it. The service was a joke. I wouldn't have thought they were Christians as the servers seemed to like the bar a lot and didn't seem very respectful or professional. It took a long time to get served and they forgot our drinks (soft drinks) and didn't bring them until after the meal. read more

Amazing burgers that were cooked to perfection. And their fries are hand cut from fresh potatoes. Also amazing. The servers/owners were very nice and talkative. Great couple. The Waha Bar & Grill has always had great food. Their beer selection was small for a while, but today when I went in for dinner they a a great selection of beer. Thank You Owners! Next expand the hours open. read more

Excellent burgers in a fun, relaxed atmosphere. It's a bit of a drive outside of Lewiston, but getting up into the hills a bit adds to the experience. We'll be back, especially when we have visitors who are looking to experience North Idaho at its best. read more

Been wanting to visit the Waha Bar & Grill for a long time. Finally made it out today and they did not disappoint. If you're looking for a quick, fast food experience, then do yourself a favor and keep on going. These are gourmet burgers and hand cut fries made to order and both were fabulous. We visited on a Saturday and there was a decent lunch time crowd. It took a bit longer than you'd expect but the wait was worth it, the massive 1/2 lb Ranch burger with bacon and ham were cooked to perfection with crisp garnish. Fine selection of beer and apps. Highly recommend for a quick detour or afternoon jaunt from Lewiston. read more

I made the mistake of eating here since I was hungry and it was conveniently located. The food was very greasy and poorly made. The service was just as bad with a very, very rude waitress. The place seemed average as far as cleanliness but my fork had dried food on it so maybe they need a new dishwasher. The waitress kept forgetting to get me a new fork so i had to eventually just steal one from another table. I will NEVER go back to this place again. read more

My wife and I go to Waha Bar & Grill a couple times a month the food's GREAT but be careful you can become addicted, LOL. We live close enough & they are good people. Stay away. I thought we were in for so great goodness. I was WRONG. NOT A GOOD CHOICE. The service was SLOW at best. The fries were the only thing that tasted some what edible . Everything else. WAS awful . Do yourself and your stomach a favor and avoid this grease trap. read more

Their burgers are UNBELIEVABLE!! You might as well just roll us your sleeves, put two stacks of napkins on the table, put your elbows on em' and just let the sauce and juices roll down your arms!! The Waha Bar & Grill offers many typical grill items: burgers, wings, real French fries, etc. They serve peanuts to shell and throw the on the floor while you wait for your order to be served: part of the experience. The Waha Burger is very good. Buffalo wings are typical; nothing special. French fries are homemade and accompany many of the menu items. This is more restaurant than bar: families with children are definitely welcome. After the drive to this isolated location, don't be in a hurry expecting quick service. They are staffed appropriately and as they state, they are not a fast food restaurant: have patience because service can be slow. Had a burger at this grill tonight and it was great. Good service, friendly staff and definitely worth the drive through beautiful wheat fields to get there. I had heard such good things about the food at this little hideaway so we had small family group (7) of us that went there to celebrate my husband's birthday. Yes, food and the price were great! Too bad the service was terrible. It began with a comment being made about not having called ahead to let them know we had a LARGE group. In addition, I understand now the owners do not purchase from certain venders who do not support their political beliefs. I am all for that and get it. However, in my ignorance I asked for a Bud Light. The reaction I got was a cold shoulder and rudeness. They run a public business and cannot expect all to be knowledgeable in their beliefs. Politeness would sure go a long way. After we received our food we were never approached again as to how our food was, whether we needed drink refills, etc. I was very embarrassed as it was my suggestion to go there. I wanted it to be a special day for my husband. We will not be back. read more
