THEY ARE THE BEST!! after a frustrating couple of days being turned away at various "pawn shops", i decided to try one last place. im SO glad i did, i am a customer for life. i came in today with a small bin full of miscellaneous jewelry, nothing crazy fancy- and a lot of pieces that needed to be tested. the entire team was SO warm and friendly when they welcomed me in. but i have to say, sabrine was the star of the show. she told me how much she loved looking through collections like that and got to work. as she sorted through my items, i looked at all the beautiful (and very reasonably priced) items they had for sale, so many amazing treasures!! early on in my transaction, sabrine asked me about the gold colored pieces i had, and i told her that someone at a different pawn shop the other day said there was not any gold. sabrine offered to re test them, and told me she found a couple pieces of gold. THAT was a huge trust-earning moment for me, she could have easily pocketed them as copper/brass, but was very honest. she checked in with me throughout the process, but i was content browsing and chatting with the other employees/customers, everyone was truly so nice. when sabrine told me my offer, i was so, so, so happy i almost cried- it was amazing and SO fair. sabrine was SO thorough, yet efficient with the help of other team members. she sorted through hundreds of pieces of jewelry in about an hour, and i walked out with more cash than i anticipated. The security guard was very friendly, but customer service sucks! These people made me wait a long time, and there was only two customers in the store. I liked the deals they had, but I won't shop there. I demand at least half way decent customer service. This place didn't seem very friendly. I think they have a good selection for a small store, they can sometimes offer discounts, and they have sales and a good layaway program. I also appreciate being able to track my items and pay for them on a mobile app. I've been able to get some great deals on jewelry, electronics, and even items for my new house. My experience was terrible. The worker was very rude. He kept telling me my ID was invalid even though I literally just turned 22. He said my license from Minnesota was illegal and I couldn't believe it. He wouldn't even get a second opinion he just screwed me and didn't give good reasons. He said the my picture was off and I looked at this man like you really think you're the police or something huh? They have a janky scanner clearly cus I am a law abiding citizen. The first time I came in, I was greeted with multiple smiling faces. Security opened the door for me both coming and going which was nice. I came in looking for a rosary. They did have a very nice one however, I was hoping they had a gold one. I left my contact information and Paul (employee) said that he would contact me if they received a gold rosary.
