Was this worth it? Absolutely. I'm not a fan of the whipped cream but the cream it came out with was what made it more special. There was a line but line moved fast ish. There was two people work that day. There were seatings right by the place but they were all taken. Apple fries... we wish they were longer pieces. Seemed like we've got the butt end of the Apple. Which was still good. If I'm here again, I would definitely get it again.

Apple fries reminds me of apple pie. It's fluffy and warm. Comes out quick. There's a small outdoor seating area as well. If you're into apples and dessert, this is for you. This was our first time here, and won't be our last.

If you're at Legoland and craving a sugary treat, this is the place to visit. It's busy but the crew keep the line moving. The building matches the other themed attractions in this side of the resort. The apple fries are tasty and just the right amount of sweetness. There are a few seats available next to it but the apple fries are easy to bring with you as you continue your journey throughout the park. Give them a try. It'll be one of your must haves once you do. You're welcome.

    Mushy fries.

We used to love this apple fries so much. I dont mind if the price went up bit the quality really go down hill. They put more fries but all of them are so mushy so it tasted gross to me. I think its better fried them small batch, give less portion but nice make it long nice crispy fries instead of the picture. We really want to enjoy the quality not the portion that is big and end up being in the trash can. That was so sad because i hate to throw food away.

Now I know the hype. I probably watch YouTube just as much as I go on Yelp. And one of the things to visit at LegoLand is this place. Surprisingly enough with how popular it is IAW (In Accordance With) YouTube, you would think it would be a bigger stand or offered in more eateries. Nope just a little stand located near the submarine ride (I know you read that review). Think of a deep fried apple pie minus the crust. It's sugary and IAW mothers "an apple a day keeps the doctor away" :) Overall four stars. It's good and portable. Or you can sit down and enjoy at the nearby tables. Not five because I really got some small fries. M

I had several people say that if going to Legoland, this was THE treat to get. Way better than churros, ice cream or anything else. Delicious fry shaped slivers of apples dipped in batter, fried to a crisp, topped with cinnamon sugar and whipped cream. Apple pie in the shape of crispy bite sized fried goodness. Maybe the item was overhyped. Don't get me wrong--they were pretty good. But the batter didn't really encase the apple, and overall, it was a bit too sweet for my taste. For over $6.00 for a serving, I was hoping for more. The apples were hot and fresh, with a crispy crumble (not fully covered in a batter), and the whipped cream was enough for the fries given. We purchased two orders for our family of four and had about half of an order left over. If you love apples, and are looking for a sweet and tart treat that has something more than sugar in it, then this is probably worth a try. It didn't "WOW" me, but it was far from unpleasant. I'm glad I tried them, but next time, I'm totally going for the ice cream or kettle corn!

I was sad when the churro con chocolate cart was closed but I was hearing a lot about these Granny Smith fries. I personally thought it was just ok! I would prefer to just eat some good apple chips haha. It was ok and I mainly Got crumbs rather than actual strips Of apples. The vanilla cream is pretty much whip cream. The price for one was about $7. It was decent. Would I have it again? Maybe.... If I went to Lego land again. Would I crave it? Probably not.

So mad I didn't try these sooner, years wasted!

Yep, it's true. They are pretty damn good. So light and crispy, there is a good apple to batter ratio. Sweetness is just right and a little whipped cream dip, genius. The apples are sliced thin and they are so airy! Hard to explain, just gotta try them. Almost like little apple pie bites but doesn't have that overly sweet taste. It's more tart than I had imagined. I don't know why I have been skipping out on these for all these years, I'm an idiot! I think it's my favorite amusement park dessert for 2022. Try some out, I don't think you'll regret it. Enjoy!

Imagine slices of Granny Smith apples dipped into a thin churro batter and then fried. The whip-cream dip makes is super delicious!

Each apple fry reminded me of a McDonald's Apple Pie but with a more interesting crunchy shell. They use Granny Smith apples and offset the sour taste with cinnamon and sugar dusting and optional free whip cream to dip. The size is nice and shareable for our family of four and provided a nice snack without making us feel bad after. It's a unique offering at Legoland compared to the typical burgers, chicken tenders, hotdogs, etc.. you can get at other theme parks. Conveniently, it's right next to the huge wood playground with plenty of places to sit. It is a known destination so sometimes the lines are very long but can move fast. Oddly, sometimes it's strangely deserted and you can go right up to the front. If the line is short this is also a place you can ask for free ice, very useful on hot days like today.

Apple fries is definitely a must try at Legoland. You will not be disappointed. They have a special seasonal that is served with soft serve ice cream.

Cute container with apple fries and vanilla cream.

It had been awhile since I've had these that I couldn't recall how they were. This time around I get to try them again but with the help of my grandkids. They come in a small French fry looking container with a little compartment at the top for the vanilla flavored cream. The Apple fries are small in size, not long like some regular fries. They are coated with cinnamon sugar to sweeten the tartness of the granny apples. And to add to the sweetness, top it off with a dip in the vanilla cream! My 1 1/2 yr old granddaughter liked the apple fries with the cream, as my 4 1/2 yr old grandson said it was too sour (but he enjoys sour candy). As for their mom, she liked it. Me, I loved them! Wish they had a larger serving size! I also a bag of Green Apple popcorn. The color of the popcorn got my attention and had to try it. I thought it was good. Would be better with some caramel coating on there. For me it was worth trying. I would love to see another stand at the entrance so I can get a fresh order on the way out. If I got one where it is located now, toward the rear of the park, I would be finished 50 feet after my purchase! And it would be best to enjoy these freshly made. I would definitely enjoy some Apple Fries when I return!

"Good food is the foundation of genuine happiness."…read more ~Auguste Escoffier Long overdue but very much deserved review for Fish Boon in Carlsbad. We've now dined here several times, and each visit somehow keeps getting better and better. The menu is extensive, innovative, and beautifully executed, while the sake selection is truly spectacular. Standouts absolutely include their salads, specials, sashimi, sushi, and especially their fresh uni, which is consistently some of the best in the area. Their uni and wagyu pairings are absolutely magnificent. Yum! The sake program here also deserves special recognition, with several excellent Daiginjos to choose from along with beautifully curated tasting flights. What truly elevates Fish Boon, however, is the staff and service. Everyone is warm, knowledgeable, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about the food they serve. You can immediately tell this place has built a loyal following of regulars for a reason. This has officially become our close-to-home sushi, sashimi, and sake spot. Entering: Never greeted let alone not acknowledged until it became barely. As someone who has worked all types of jobs, going as far back as when I was a teen myself - this is important. The two youngest ladies, at the register, were deep in their gossip that I doubt they noticed we walked in; only customers. I tried to get their attention but to no avail until I walked over and stood in front on them where their conversation had to be cut short. One of the young girls look a smidgen annoyed while the other was trying to rush to get my order. Quality of goods: I ordered a chocolate chip cookie, to share later with my girls and orders sometime raspberry for my teen son that he could enjoy later on break. The cookie was huge, yes, but nothing that beats the moist and chewy cookies I make myself at home, which I can't currently do since my kitchen is beinf remodeled. I asked my son on his bougie donut, later in the day, and he did the so-so hand and gave it an ok and dry. At end: we will stick to SK for service and quality.
