First time I have been Since they moved. The food was amazing and the service was excellent.and it was easy to park.

Just got here and off to a good start.

Great diner grub, eggs over was perfect. Lots of scoops of wonderful salted butter, good hash browns, pancakes (didn't try the syrup), oj tasty. Service was excellent! There were 3 people taking care of the customers and they all did great. The folding chairs were quite comfortable, advertising on the tables added charm (especially loved Hauling AZ). The outside speaks nothing on what's going on inside. If you are in the neighborhood for breakfast, make sure that you stop in, you won't regret it.

Decent little dinner. Food was good. Coffee was hot. The waiting was reasonable. They do charge 3.5 percent for credit cards.

Great food, friendly staff. I am only disappointed in the fact that their corned beef hash was from a can.

I ordered the Beer Battered Atlantic Cod basket with fries, and for $13.99, the cod was not only delicious and crispy, but the fries were just excellent with the fish as well. Not only that, the portions were very large, too. I was super full after that meal! I will absolutely order this again, just thinking about it makes me hungry. Service was top-notch, as usual. There is not a single day where I have came in and it took more than 10 minutes to be seated and have my order taken. Everyone there is so friendly, and it really felt like the service was so good there, they were only serving me. That's just how fast it is. Inside is always great, too. Calico's has a large range of artworks, trinkets, and more. They showcase R66 stuff, too. The inside is never too hot or too cold, and it's all clean and comfortable with a massive space inside. In all, Calico's is not just a little place off the road. It's got excellent food, incredible service, and a welcoming environment. I do recommend for anybody looking for these things. Thank you!

I've thought about the hash brown casserole for years and looked forward to satisfying my hunger for the potato casserole. I was extremely disappointed when I saw the "casserole" come to the table. Shredded potatoes?? What the heck? The waitress confirmed the recipe had changed. They were dry and unappealing. The waitress saw the displeasure on my face and asked several times if I wanted to replace them. I declined. I was really looking forward to the potato casserole. The restaurant ambience was as remembered and the staff were all very nice and friendly. My son enjoyed his food as he had the 4 piece fried chicken dinner with three sides. Note the sides are much smaller as I remembered them to be. Mac n cheese was good but not the same. I guess costs and overhead are cutting into food quality. Sadly I won't be returning to any Cracker Barrel in any state, unless the original casserole recipe is brought back. But I'm one person and don't think the casserole will return.

Good local beer, satisfying pizza... Definitely worth adding to your Kingman stops. The retrieved version contains excerpts, so this isn't the complete original draft. Can you retrieve the full review you drafted Here's the full review I drafted on August 29: -- Great Local Brewery, Excellent Service and a Memorable Pizza If you're visiting Kingman and enjoy checking out local breweries, Cricket is absolutely worth a stop. Sailor behind the bar was fantastic. She took excellent care of me and talked me into a flight featuring some of her favorite beers. It was a great way to sample what they offer, and her recommendations made the experience. For food, I tried my first Mustache Ride pizza on August 29th. It was about what you'd expect from the name -- sloppy goodness, generously topped and definitely not something you're going to eat delicately. The sauce was unusually tangy, which caught me by surprise at first, but somehow it really worked with everything else. Good local beer, satisfying pizza, a relaxed atmosphere and especially great service from Sailor. Exactly the kind of local place I like finding when I'm traveling through a town. Definitely worth adding to your Kingman stops

Well, this wasn't the best of visits to Rickety Cricket…read more.. Drove down to Kingman from Las Vegas to partake in some Route 66 fun while also making a couple pit stops for craft beer. Rickety Cricket was our final stop today because we wanted some good cold beers with dinner. They don't have A/C, but they had the big roll-up door open and plenty of fans & small swamp coolers around to keep the temperature somewhat bearable. There was tons of seating both inside and outside on their patio. Service was so-so. Not super friendly, but not terrible. We initially ordered a flight of 6 beers to try since it's been so long since we've had their beer. When our flight of 6 beers arrived, every single beer was borderline hot. I don't mean luke warm, I'm talking the temperature I usually drink hot tea when I'm sick with a cold kind of hot. My husband walked up to the bar to ask if there was something wrong with the cooling system and the woman behind the bar said, "Oh no, it's just so hot in here that beers just don't get a chance to cool down when we pour those small taster glasses. It's always a problem. I'm happy to pour you 2 pints in chilled glasses instead". If it's a known problem that your beer cannot cool down quickly enough for smaller pours and/or you're unwilling to purge a little beer to get the warm beer that's been sitting in the lines out, then don't offer flights or 5oz taster pours. Not every brewery offers this, you shouldn't feel the need to serve tasters either. I'd rather be forced into a pint that's gonna be served properly chilled than be served a flight of hot garbage that you're ending up wasting anyway by dumping out. Although the pints were considerably colder than the tasters, they still just weren't the proper temp. Now, I believe some of this falls on our waitress. From where we were seated, we could see the entire bar area. We watched our 2 pints get poured, then they sat on the bar top in the sun for about 2-3 minutes before our waitress picked them up, then when she did grab them she walked in the opposite direction to scold some unruly kids in the patio area, then she came over to our table with our beers. The time in the sun plus her holding them for about 2 minutes while dealing with the kids, I'm sure contributed to the warmer temp. In the midst of the beer annoyance, we received our dinner. We ordered the "Carnivore" pizza. A different waitress brought us our food and she was visibly annoyed when we asked for plates since we were sharing the pizza; had to wait 3-4 minutes before we were brought over some plates. The pizza was very good and it was piled with tons of meat. The $30 price tag for the pizza seemed absurd, and although we still feel the price was a little outrageous, we were happy with the flavor and the amount of toppings. It was surprisingly filling considering how small it was. I have no idea how much the pints of beer were since there was no pricing available for beers (except for to-go cans), but our total for 4 pints and 1 pizza was $63 (before tip). Pizza needed to be around $22. I'm guessing pints were about $7.50, if so, they needed to be about $6 considering they aren't being served properly chilled. Very pricey for such a lackluster experience. Next time we'll grab dinner and cold pints at Grand Canyon Brewing down the street. Giving 2 stars for the delicious pizza, because even though it was truly overpriced, we did really enjoy everything else about that "Carnivore".
