The food at this places wasn't fresh & the staff was very rude. My stomach wasn't feeling well after we got done eating.

On a Route 66 road trip we stopped in to Jerry's. It's a small cafe filled with friendly locals…read moreand travelers and wonderful staff. Had to try some of their basics. I had a cheese enchilada, refried beans & rice. Had a side of chips & salsa. Husband had Jerry's open-faced burger with red and green chili. Both meals came with sopapillas. Everything was fabulous! Such a great way to get what felt like a true picture of Gallup, NM.

Saw a guy eating a sopapilla outside said it was good and there were several people outside waiting so we were like ok it's gonna be good. Ordered the Sopapilia covered in red sauce because it was a popular choice. Sadly, I was disappointed. I think it would have been good by itself no sauce. Just a sopapilla by itself. In sauce was too much. The red sauce did not taste homemade. If it is I'm sorry but it just wasn't my cup of tea. The kids drummettes were fried and tasty. Other than that it was just another diner. We did meet others who said they frequent but knowing true Mexican food, it's a no go for me. Service was ok. Ambiance Diner feel. We met a guy who said there was a cafe town the road that he preferred I don't remember the name but at least I know I'm not the only one who did not enjoy it. He was also from Cali so there you go. Sorry to disappoint. Good luck finding good eats. SYOY

Doña María has earned a permanent spot on our list of must-visit restaurants every time we're back in town. The service was exceptional from start to finish. Karen took incredible care of us and our family. Even though we were a fairly needy group, she was consistently professional, friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Her positive attitude made an already great dining experience even more memorable. I can't say enough how amazing she was! From the breakfast burritos to dinner, everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and authentic. The homemade tortillas were absolutely outstanding and complemented every meal perfectly. The portions were generous, and every dish reminded us why we love coming back home. The restaurant has a warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in. It's the kind of place where you can relax, enjoy a great meal, and feel right at home. Overall, between the incredible food, exceptional service, and inviting atmosphere, Doña María has become one of our go-to spots whenever we're in Farmington. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for authentic New Mexican food and genuine hospitality. We can't wait to come back on our next visit!

So much food and good price. I get this meal then head to Albuquerque to fly home. I dont need to eat again for that drive or tbe first flight!! I think I have had the same waitress everytime too and she is so pleasant and attentive. There were two very large groups in for breakfast meetup and she was able to get my ticket in since I was solo. Really appreciate not have to wait for 20+ plates since we were all there at open.
