Ana Parzych was featured on a Food Network Challenge a few years ago, but I didn't see her episode…read moreuntil after we'd used her for our wedding. Unfortunately she didn't win, but she should have! We live in CA and got married in CT, where my husband is from. We could not do an in-person tasting, so Ana had our cake samples overnighted to us in California. We did all of our communication via email. I was able to tell her exactly what I wanted without ever meeting her in person, and she was able to translate it absolutely perfectly into the cake of our dreams. She even developed a recipe for both the cake and the buttercream because the flavors we wanted were not offered at the time of our wedding. We had a fairly limited budget for the cake (700 or so for 100 guests) but the cake looked like it cost thousands of dollars, and was as delicious on the inside as it was beautiful. The sugar flowers looked real, and we even tried the fondant, which was delicious, even though everyone says its for decoration only. Planning a wedding from 4000 miles away is stressful enough- it was so nice to have a vendor who truly took the time to listen to what we wanted and help us come up with something absolutely perfect for our wedding. I would absolutely recommend Ana and her entire staff, and am honored to have had one of her creations as the centerpiece of my wedding.

They were also beautiful! The ones frosted with vanilla buttercream looked like beautiful white roses, and the strawberry cupcakes were topped with yummy whipped cream frosting and a strawberry. I picked up an assortment of Danish pastries to share, and they were a hit. Everyone loved them, which made gift-giving easy and stress-free. It's always nice finding something that feels thoughtful and is appreciated by so many people. Of course, I couldn't leave without picking up a few treats for myself. I brought home the chocolate hazelnut and coconut ice cream flavors, and both were absolutely delicious. The chocolate hazelnut was rich and creamy, while the coconut had a refreshing flavor that was perfect for a warm day. I also purchased two breakfast pastries. One was a raspberry-flavored pastry that I really enjoyed. The other was supposed to be filled with vanilla, but the filling tasted different than I expected. It wasn't my favorite item, but with so many options available, that's bound to happen sometimes. The selection was impressive, everything looked fresh, and there was something for every sweet tooth. Whether you're stopping in for dessert, breakfast pastries, ice cream, or gifts for a special occasion, this is definitely a place worth visiting. I'll definitely be back to try more flavors and discover a few new favorites.

"And if we've only got this life And this adventure, oh then…read moreI Wanna share it with you" (Coldplay) Outstanding in every way. The interior space is roomy and gorgeous with plenty of tables and chairs, a grocery section and even a salad bar with veggies on the right and meats and cheeses on the left. You can customize your very own antipasto salad! The bakery is unreal -cakes, cookies, pies, everything you'd ever want. We picked up six delicious chocolate almond biscottis for just $2.29. The sandwich/prepared food counter offers a ridiculous choice of foods with over 30 hot and cold choices in 4 sizes - roll, grinder, wrap or panini. Prices range from $8 to $19 depending on where you finally put your nickel down. They also have display cases chock full of prepared foods- pastas, sausage and peppers, grilled chicken, eggplant parm, meatballs, and plenty of salads. We both went for a sandwich on a roll. My wife ordered a Caprese ($8.69) with plenty of tomatoes and thick slaps of mozzarella. I went with one of my favorite sandwiches - an Italian Combo ($10.79) with big portions of Genoa salami, hot capicola, prosciuttini, mortadella and provolone cheese and veggies. It was outstanding. Both of us have half a sandwich left. And the service was equally excellent, from the young guy who made our sandwiches to the charming woman with the French accent who packaged up our biscottis and rang up our order. Five stars all the way.
