I stopped by here on the way back to camp from a trail run and they had me in and out within a few minutes. I got there early like 7:45 am cause I wanted get back on road after having a soft tire last night upon arrival in Moab on trip to NM. Disappointed. Operators showed up promptly. By now a list of 8-10 people. I was 3. They said 1-1/2 hours. Came back in hour. They finished that tire shortly but also checked all my others. Found two other leaking valves. Suggested replace. I agreed. Went out for coffee. Came back in 20 minutes. All done. Perfect work. Perfect professionalism. Great friendly service. And fair price. I offered extra $20 for coffee fund. Traveled to Moab from Chicago only to blow a tire outside of Grand Junction at night on our Subaru Legacy. The shop person was very knowledgeable on Subaru needs, measured existing tires and worked with me on providing the best solution for my needs for a great price. Paid less for a Michelin tire in Moab Utah when I was desperate than I would have paid back home. Had the tire replaced in very short time getting us back on track for our vacation shortly after they opened in the morning. We were on our vacation and got a flat tire in Arches National Park. Drove back to Moab and got the tire patched next morning. The service is quick and reliable - we ended up driving back to Los Angeles on the patched tire as there's no shop on our way back with a matching run flat tire. If you're in Moab and having trouble with your tires this is the place to go. We were camped at Warner Lake when we got a flat on our RAV4. Got there first thing on Monday morning and had the flat fixed by 9:30 which was fast considering how many people were there needing service. I think the name of the guy that helped us was "EJ". He was very friendly and did a great job. Got back to Salt Lake with no problems whatsoever. To top it all off they didn't charge me for the repair because of how long I had to wait. They hooked me up with a used one with similar remaining tread as my old tire (good), same brand of tire (Goodyear Wrangler), mounted, balanced, installed and reinstalled my spare all for $70.00. If I could give 10,000 stars I would. These guys are the best and everyone in Moab will tell you so as well. Jeff runs the shop and is a fantastic mechanic and manager. Dan did the physical work on our car and was equally stellar. Honest, professional, customer first. We had a nightmare situation. Got a wheel hub and bearing replacement in Oakland CA bc we were in a pinch the day before our big move to Denver CO. 5 miles out of Moab our tire started popping terribly. We were directed to Grand Tire Pros, who told us our cruddy Oakland mechanic butchered our wheel bearing job so badly they tore up the threading on our axel. After our mechanic in Oakland said he'd only help us if we DROVE BACK TO CA, Jeff and Dan took over. They stood up for us, replaced our axel, bearing and hub and got our sucky mechanic to pay for it. THEN they gave us a free alignment AND a free transmission oil change bc guess what our Oakland mechanic charged us for that and didn't even do it. We were easy prey for any mechanic. Grand Tire Pros saved our moving trip, our car and our wallets. These guys are FANTASTIC. Donuts and a great review doesn't seem like a fair trade for how much they helped us. Give them a shout! We pulled into Moab with a flat tire stopped at grand tire pro right at closing time. We were two single ladies and they refused to help us and said they were closed and to come back tomorrow. They went back inside to continue talking to each other leaving two single ladies stranded in the freezing cold with no car. Talk about chivalry being dead. The next day we came back with a tire for them to put onto our car and they got angry and said that it was illegal for them to change my tire. They were extremely rude because we bought a tire somewhere else that opened earlier and forced us to tow our car to a different shop that would change our tire for us. Horrible and rude service. Have never been treated this poorly. Never come here. read more

As I was leaving town I had a screwdriver puncture my almost new $200 offroad friendly tire. OTR declared it unfixable (keeping all of the $25 flat repair fee), so I took it to Chip's, initially to see if they had anything comparable to replace my full sized spare. $19 later I was out the door with a repaired tire. Hopefully there won't be a next time, but if there is I'm heading straight to Chip's. read more

These guys were a real blessing to my family. My wife and daughter went down to Moab for the Scottish Festival, and at 5:20 at night I got a call from her, telling me she had a flat tire at the hotel. I scrambled to find someone to help her since I was up in Salt Lake. I found Chip's and they were closing in 10 minutes. However, they jumped to action, driving over to the hotel with a portable air tank to fill up the tire temporarily so she could limp it to their shop. From there, they were able to do a tire repair, and get her back on the road. And after all the work they did for her, they didn't charge her since it was after closing time and the register was closed. Super people and I cannot say enough about how great they were. I love to 4x4 in Moab, and I will visit them exclusively if I have any future needs while down there. Thanks!! read more

Our 2001 Chevy Silverado was making a loud rattling noise after completing the White Rim road. I called Tire Pros at 8am the next morning to have it checked out. They got me right in and checked everything out and let me know the emergency brake was broken. They said I would be fine to drive back to California. They didn't charge me anything for checking out the vehicle. Amazing!!! read more

I blew a tire while wheeling in Moab. I'm from out of town. I took my Toyota 4Runner to Grand Tire Pros and asked if they had a replacement (BFG KM3). Jeff, the manager, said they didn't but they could order one from Denver and have it there within two days. I said OK. On the second day, Jeff called to say they didn't have the tire but FedEx indicated it was out for delivery. Jeff called the next day, and the day after that, to say the tire was still "out for delivery." Jeff explained that they had been having this sort of trouble with Fed Ex lately. I told him I couldn't hang around and wait indefinitely, and asked if he could cancel the order. He apologized and said of course he could cancel. Jeff and PJ did everything they could to help me out and kept me informed. Not their fault Fed Ex didn't deliver. Thanks again Jeff. read more

Had a flat during our vacation and we expected to be charged a lot for being out of towners. But Grand Pro Tires we extremely professional and the service was great! When we arrived there, we already saw that they were very busy but PJ said that they will try and see if they can fix our tire. He told us to he will just call us when its done. So off we went doing our thing and got a call 30 mins. before closing. Our tires were patched, PJ even put the tire back and the spare in the trunk again. And just charged us $21! This past summer my family was visiting from back east and we were doing the national park tour (my family in a rental and me following in my car). Driving through Capitol Reef on our way to Moab I got a flat tire in a non-service area. My family kept driving only to realize about 15 minutes later that I wasn't behind them anymore...I was on the side of the road trying to figure out how to change the tire. After sorting that out, we stopped for air and someone recommended this place. These folks were so incredibly helpful, beyond accommodating and real lifesavers! I was holding my breath that it wouldn't cost too much to repair the tire. They ended up giving me a used tire in great condition at no charge. On top of that, they gave me recommendations for a tire place in Salt Lake City and to tell them who sent me. Everything I read in reviews was true. I pulled in with a tire tihat needed repaired from my 5th wheel RV. I went into the store and told Tammy I had a tire to be repaired. Daniel was called infrom the shop. He went out with me and he unloaded the tire from my truck. He said it would be ready in one hour. We went and ran some errands returned in an hour and the tire was fixed and ready to go. I paid the bill and Daniel came in and said your tire is loaded in your truck ready to go. First class hard working and very polite sums this shop up. What more could you ask for? read more

As a single female, traveling solo, overstressed from ongoing issues with the Jeep I rented in SLC, I was overcome with emotion when Jeff Edwards, the manager of Grand Tire Pros, explained what he was doing for me. He found a bad plug (which he let me keep) in the spare that came with my rental which a good samaritan had mounted for me when I got a flat tire driving on paved roads. The good samaritan thought he heard a leak when pumping up the spare and it turns out he was right. The leaky spare got me to my hotel that night but I did find myself with a second flat tire in the hotel parking lot in the morning and now no spare. Luckily, I was able to drive to Grand Tire Pros nearly next door. Jeff Edwards installed a new plug for free and gave me a used tire so I'd have a spare. The service was speedy despite the three vehicles ahead of me. I can't thank Jeff enough not only for helping me free of charge but more importantly for being such a good, kind, honest man. I cried again, seeing his picture in these reviews where he is shown with a customer's two kids. This a man with genuine people skills who is an asset to the community. His parents must be so proud! Somewhere during in my travels through Moab, I got a slow leak in the rear tire of my rental car. Tried filling it with air, but kept leaking. Wasn't sure I would make it back to Denver Co. Brought it in to Grand Pro. Didn't know what I should do. Super friendly & helpful. The woman who helped me said, "no problem, we will patch it up quickly and get you along your way". Which they fulfilled! And unexpectedly, when the serviceman handed me my car keys, he said it's on them, just wanted to do something kind for someone. What? Wow. That just floored me. I highly recommend them. However, I see they already have a great reputation, as I was waiting, I saw that many people came here to get their tires serviced. We had a flat tire on our rental car that appeared to be due to a piece of metal. But when we brought it in, one of the employees, Marco, showed us that the deflation was not due to the piece of metal (as it didn't actually puncture the tire), but rather due to a separate gash in the tread. He advised us not to drive a long distance on the tire, so the office manager called the car rental company to explain the situation and got authorization for a new tire to be put on. Once that happened, we were off on our way within 5 minutes. Great service and an honest and helpful staff!!! read more
