We had such a WONDERFUL experience at the Grand Slam Grill! The service was excellent; our waitress was great and the hostess was nice enough to put our baby's car seat by the bar for us. I ordered the Breakfast Burger and it was absolutely delicious! My burger was cooked perfectly and the serving sizes were very generous. The restaurant is very clean and nicely decorated, and I very much appreciated that there was a changing table in the women's bathroom. Quite a few restaurants in Olean don't have a changing table! Overall, my family and I had a great experience and we will definitely be coming back for the best burgers in Olean! read more

We were driving along I86 and looked for place for lunch. We stopped here and we were pleasantly surprised. The quality of the food was outstanding. The hand dipped onion rings were the best we've ever had. If we lived closer we would come here regularly. read more

I hadn't been here in about 2 years. I still enjoy this place. Clean. Mask mandates. When we showed up there was 2 other tables & I think 1 waitress. She was friendly, anticipated our needs, apologized when she took a little long...she was great. I ordered a burger I didn't realize I got the last time I was there haha (I try to get new things) but it was delicious & juicy. The pub burger (pictured in my last review) My company ordered the steak sandwich & was pleased. Except for the bites with fat, which you expect with steak. I'm going to open this by saying I hate steak. I am not a steak girl. I had a bite of my dads steak the other night when we went to dinner, and omg I wish I ordered a steak because it was the most delicious piece of meat I've ever had. I got a burger, and I ate the entire thing! Which doesn't happen much for me. I also got a side of hot fries, and those are by far my new favorite thing. Hot fries all day every day. read more

We decided to stop in because a friend kept sharing their menu on fb. The atmosphere was pleasant and the staff was friendly and doing it up old school - the owner/manager personally went to each table and asked how everything was. The portions were very generous and they seem to have something for everyone, even putting some new twists on classic dishes. Visited this town and restaurant for the first time. I took my partner, dad, and mom here for father's day under the recommendation of our hotel staff. My partner and I both had the rack of ribs, half and full while my parents shared a big t-bone steak. They raved of how long it had been since they had one and how well cooked and tasty it was along with their sides. My partner and I did enjoy our flavorful ribs but they were quite tough and even had troubles after trying to pull them apart with knife and fork. The fries were DELICIOUS steak fries and as someone who loves and eats a lot of fries, they were great! I also had rice pilaf as a second side which was disappointing only because it was not, but rather some sort of garden or veggie rice? Not sure but it wasn't rice pilaf. Our waitress was lovely and kept our waters filled without us ever asking. She was attentive without being intrusive. The bathrooms and restaurant seemed fairly well-cleaned and adhered to covid advisement and restrictions. All around wonderful experience with pretty tasty food. read more

Our first time here and we definitely will be back! Our new favorite restaurant. The waitress was so helpful with our selections since it was our first time. She even brought samples of the beers on tap so we could pick one we hadn't tried. My husband had the steak sandwich and it was done to perfection. I had the Cobb salad with a Buffalo chicken breast on the side. Both were amazing. Can't recommend this place enough. On a side not it was one of the cleanest places I've been in in a long time. My husband and I love it here. We almost always order their ny strip hoagie. It's a full 8 oz steak with carmelized onions and melted cheese on hoagie roll. Soo good. Their fish fries are so delicious too. Hopefully we will go there tonight. They're service is excellent. read more

I have had horrible service. Amanda was my server this evening, she was very disgruntled and absent-minded. She served my food at the wrong table and we had to swap, this happens sometimes, but Amanda was very hostile towards my party of friends. The food came out pretty quick, but my steak sandwich made me choke on butter. My friend almost performed a choking procedure on me. It was very hard to get the sandwich in my mouth and when I did manage to bite into it, the steak was so chewy and stringy that I ended up switching plates with my friend. I am very disappointed in this establishment, I have been a loyal customer here for a year. The owner is also very snarky. He did not listen to any of my complaints. It is a tragedy that he runs this restaurant. read more

My wife and I were shopping in Olean on Sunday, 3/18 and were getting hungry for dinner. The choices in Olean on a Sunday are limited because everything either is closed, or closes very early. We found the Grand Slam Grill, and decided to give it a try. It may be the best decision we have ever made in our lives. We walked in, and were seated promptly and our drinks were brought to the table very quickly. We ordered the onion rings for an appetizer, and they were amazing. Cooked to perfection. Crispy and not drowning in grease. For our dinner, my wife had the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich, which she was very happy with and repeatedly remarked how good it was. I had the "Blue Burger", which wasn't on the regular menu, but offered as a special. Nice thick 8oz. patty with crumbled blue cheese, bacon, BBQ sauce, caramelized onions, and topped with drizzle of balsamic bourbon vinegar. It was one of the best burgers I have ever had in my life! This place has only be opened a year, but may be one of the best, places I have ever eaten. Whoever they have doing the cooking should get a raise, and they should hang on to them. The wife and I agree that we have a new "go to" when we are in Olean, NY. Total bill was $48 for the two meals, and 2 beers each. Not bad at all! Can't wait to return. read more

Wife and I were in town to ski at Holiday Valley and ate here one night. Food was fantastic! Best homemade spaghetti and meatballs and chicken parmesan in a long time. Staff super helpful and owner super nice and personable. We'll visit next time in town! read more
