Once you added the protein, veggies and gravy the noodles start to soften up. Loved that it came with more mushrooms but wished it had more taste. Overall I will definitely be getting those pork dumplings again but I may just stick to my old faithful house fried rice and orange beef until I'll feeling adventurous again.

It was worth waiting for. It had that genuine, traditional quality that you don't always find when restaurants start modifying dishes to appeal to a broader audience. And then there was the service: Our server, Mai, was wonderful. She was warm, courteous, and professional without being overly formal or hovering. More importantly, she actually knew the menu. Her recommendations were excellent, and every dish she suggested delivered. She also recommended a sake pairing that complemented the meal beautifully. I also thought the pricing was very reasonable for the quality. These are dishes that require good ingredients and careful preparation, and I didn't feel like we were paying an inflated price. Could not pay on the online ordering, only in store. Ordered the Honey Garlic Chicken combo dinner with pork fried rice which also comes with an egg roll (shrimp egg roll), Orange chicken combination dinner, mild, with white rice (and egg roll), fried dumplings and pint of wonton soup. Combo dinners were $11.50 each, dumplings were $7.95, pint of soup $3.50. While the plaza itself is in a less than desirable area to go to at night, there's a sports bar a few doors down that was absolutely packed when I got there. I was glad there were lots of people around but no parking to be had. Since there is also a Little Caesar's next door, folks we're parking behind parked cars, hopping out and grabbing their food. I personally "parked" against the building around the side in the no parking zone hoping I would be in and out quickly (even the CVS lot that shares the plaza was full.) Headed in and paid. Store was well maintained, appeared clean and neat, and busy. I think busy is good and past reviews showed this place has been around a while so I hoped that meant good return business. I personally liked that the air smelled delicious. And because they were doing so many orders hoped that meant everything would be fresh. Waited about 5-7 minutes, not terrible. Got the food home and took some pics. I live approx 15-20 minutes away, and the food was still hot. I liked that the honey garlic sauce was on the side so it didn't make the chicken soggy, and I could determine the amount to use. Sauce was delicious, garlicky and sweet, very flavorful. The fried rice was also very flavorful. They definitely do it the right way and use day old rice. Husband said the orange chicken was very good, had a nice kick but not spicy for mild. The fried dumplings were crispy, the meat was flavorful, and the sauce was tangy and not overly soy sauce tasting. Also had green onion floating in it, which I liked. Wonton soup was hot, not too salty, wontons were good. The egg rolls were crispy and the filling, which had shrimp in it, was flavorful. All in all, one of the better take out Chinese I have tried so far in our quest to find a new regular. I would definitely eat here again.
