I discovered a cockroach on my plate in plain view when my order was served. I had recently noticed a decline in food quality with takeout orders, which prompted me to dine in today. Unfortunately, when my meal arrived, there was a cockroach clearly visible on the plate.

Egg roll

Actually not bad, one of the better egg rolls around...although the website has a price of $1.35 they charged $2.45! The only complaint is the oil tastes old, wondering what day they change it.

Finally--Authentic, Delicious Chinese Food in Florida! After moving to Florida from Long Island four years ago, we've been on the hunt for Chinese food that could compare to what we were used to back home. We were starting to think it didn't exist--until today! Uncle Joe's in Palm Beach Gardens absolutely blew us away, and honestly, it may be even better than what we used to get in New York. I ordered the General Tao's Chicken and my husband had the Kung Pao Chicken. Both dishes were perfectly balanced--flavorful, fresh, and just the right amount of heat and crunch. We were also served classic crispy noodles with sauce as soon as we sat down (a nostalgic touch we've missed so much), and our meals came with Wonton soup and an egg roll, all hot, satisfying, and clearly made with care. The service was friendly and prompt, and the restaurant had a clean, welcoming atmosphere. Uncle Joe's just might be our new go-to spot. Highly recommend if you've been craving real-deal Chinese food that hits all the right notes!

Last week lunch

Went today and they are CLOSED due to failing health inspections! So disappointed ! They were cleaning their kitchen. I drI've behind the building to see what was going on. Saw them hosing it out and carrying stuff to the dumpsters. I pray they can pull it together . I ate there last week and enjoyed it so much! They have been here for so long!!

Egg Fu Yung lunch
Pat B.

Decided to stop in here for lunch the other day, and was so happy that I did! There are many lunch specials, and I had the Egg Fu Yung. It came with soup, rice, an egg roll and a big basket of crunchy noodles with duck sauce and mustard. All for $12!! I love their hot and sour soup. And Uncle Joe is very friendly and happy to see you, and my waiter was friendly and obliging. I'm always happy with a nice meal at Uncle Joe's! And so reasonable!

Delicious, the best Chinese in town. I try to visit at least twice a month. Can't get enough of their fried rice or General Tso chicken

I almost hesitated to write this because Golden Pavilion feels like a well kept family secret, but…read morethey truly deserve the spotlight. My family and I come here often for dim sum and celebrate Lunar New Year here every year. The service is always warm and attentive, especially from Sue, and we always leave happy, completely stuffed, and usually carrying leftovers. Their menu is extensive, and I have yet to order anything I didn't enjoy. My dim sum favorites include the sticky rice with lotus leaves, chicken wings, siu mai, preserved egg and congee, steamed dumplings, fried shrimp balls, sesame balls, and pan fried turnip. You really can't go wrong with anything on the dim sum menu. Everything is made fresh, arrives hot, and is consistently delicious. For Lunar New Year, we order the whole steamed fish with scallions and ginger. It is perfectly cooked every time, flaky, moist, and full of flavor. We also love the roast chicken and duck, General Tso's chicken, and the pan fried seafood noodles loaded with scallops, shrimp, and calamari. Even the fried rice is a standout. This year, we placed an order ahead for the whole lobster and devoured it. I've heard they may be relocating when Whole Foods moves into the plaza, so be sure to stop in soon or follow them for updates. This place is truly a gem worth supporting.

Steamed fish fillet had good ginger flavour. The chicken lettuce wrap could have benefited with more than just 4 lettuce cups, but was nicely prepared with good taste and texture. Dim sum was only available before 4pm.

The good, the bad, the ugly Good - I had the best Thai tea…read moreI've had at any Thai restaurant. I'd go back just for this. The crispy duck in curry was outstanding. A huge amount for the $31 price tag but worth it. I wish they'd add more veggies but still an excellent dish. The vegan gyoza dumplings were delicious. Slightly charred and melt in your mouth. The bad - seaweed salad at $9 was mostly shredded lettuce with a little seaweed in a margarita (?) glass to make it look like a lot. I like seaweed and was disappointed that this had such a small amount. The ugly. I came after the lunch crowd rush at 1:00. There was a booth available and waiter would not seat me there because he said it's for larger parties. So he sat me underneath a fake stiff Christmas decoration that was cutting into my neck and back. Very uncomfortable. During the half hour I was there a single woman was seated there and three more booths opened. So this experience was uncalled for. I left the waiter a 15% tip where I'd usually tip 20 for lunch. And by the way the reviews saying tip automatically added are incorrect. You get a suggested tip starting at 18! My waiter today is reason tips should be discretionary for service received. My waiter didn't give me water or check on me during the meal either

Or you can order from the regular menu. Kati herself is your order taker and server. This is probably my fifth time at Katis. I ordered the lunch Thai garlic chicken, comes with a delicious salad with ginger dressing. For $4 more you can order a sushi roll from the lunch menu. I ordered the California roll. The fresh salad came first. Then the California roll. It was the best California roll, I've had in a long time. Perfectly rolled and balanced. Cold and delicious. My garlic chicken was very good, full of vegetables and with rice on the side. My only suggestion is that the sauce needs to be a little thicker with more garlic. I appreciate and liked the presentation, it came in a small bowl instead of on the plate with the rice. Highly recommend you give Kati a try.

Loved this place! It is definitely a hidden gem in the Juno beach area!…read more We ate dinner on Saturday night and it wasn't crowded at all. It is a more casual restaurant. I'm surprised it wasn't more packed! Our server Mona was super sweet and very attentive. She even packed up our leftovers. They have so many options for food-- almost any type of Asian food, you can find here! They have everything from Sushi, Ramen/Pho, boba, and Pad Thai. We tried the fried duck Kao soi and steamed tofu drunken noodles. Both were phenomenal! The fried duck Kao soi was one of their specials so we are so glad we got to try it. They were both so flavorful and had the perfect amount of spice. This is definitely going to be one of my go-to Thai/Asian restaurants in this area!
