Sooooo, we got there at 4. Dinner had "started" but most of the trays were empty. There was a 80/20 split of Chinese vs American style foods. Most of the foods were room temp at best. The have the area where you can select items to be cooked for you. The beef wasn't present the entire time. There was a small selection of salad like items. The "dessert" area had fruit and obviously can puddings and stuff. They had self serve scooped icecream and cake as well. A few other items also. There was an Apple pie looking danish also. Perhaps our timing wasn't great. The dinner was $32 for 2 adults. I suggest either trying to go when they are first opening or when they appear busy...to ensure that the food is fresh. No sure we will go back. The staff was very friendly.

Food was cold, most trays were empty. Overall taste was highly unappealing, couldn't even finish what I had. Definitely not a go again

Ok inexpensive Asian food but, bathrooms can use a little updating due to cracked sink and outdated toilets.

Over the weekend, my family and I had a feast at The Cue in Danbury!…read more This establishment is on the side of a busy road, so it might be tough to see at first. Luckily, there is plenty of space for parking. The restaurant has a good amount of outdoor and indoor seating. Its wood accented interior and warm lighting gives off a southern smokehouse feel, which is very on theme to the food they are serving. Ambiance rate: 8/10. They start off with unlimited corn bread which tasted okay, nothing super special. Rate: 5/10. My family and I ordered... 1. Crispy Pork Belly (from the pit) w/ a side of onion rings: This dish was delicious! The meat was nice and juicy, and the skin was super crispy! Rate: 9/10. - The onion rings were also very tasty and crispy! Rate: 9/10. One negative about this dish is it was a small portion of both meat and side for $23. 2. Table for 4: This consisted of an array of different meats from their pit, as well as 4 sides. As a whole, the portions were very generous, making it a very filling meal, and worth the cost. - Full Rack of Baby Back Ribs: This was flavorful however, the meat was very rubbery. It wasn't falling off the bone which was unfortunate. Rate: 6/10. - Brisket: This was my favorite meat! It was super tender and consisted of a good amount of fattiness! Rate: 10/10. - Dry Rubbed Chicken: This was average, tasted like your regular chicken. Rate: 5/10. - Smoked Sausage: This had a great smoky flavor to it making it very yummy! Rate: 8/10. - Pulled Pork: This was okay in terms of flavor and tenderness. Rate: 7/10. The 4 sides: 1. Truffle Mac n Cheese: This was good, except it lacked a truffle flavor which was disappointing. Rate: 6.5/10. 2. Mashed Potato-Brisket Gravy: This was average, nothing special: Rate: 5/10. 3. Baked Creamed Spinach: This was good, but it was more watery than I would've liked. Rate: 7/10. 4. Sweet Potato Fries: If you're a fan of sweet potato fries, these are right up your alley. Unfortunately, I can't give a fair rating since I don't like sweet potato fries. To add on, they give a variety of their different barbecue sauces which was amazing. My favorite was the Apricot Horseradish! The staff were very nice and helpful! Staff/service rate: 8/10. Overall, they hit the spot with some of their meats and sides, while others didn't. However, if you're in the area, it's worth trying their American barbecue!

Make no…read moremistake, this is not an authentic kbbq experience (if you couldn't tell by the hot pot + seafood boil combo) but when you're craving grilled meats drenched in sauce this is the place to go. The key is to focus your ordering, go for the ribeye(inconsistent), finger ribs, hungry pot pork belly, and the marinated short rib. Do not waste stomach space on anything else especially the seafood offerings. Get some rice, lettuce leafs, some sauce and clear out the rest of your schedule for afterwards. The service is great. They bring the meats out with no delay, grill changes are frequent, and they do a good job bussing your table. The ambience is interesting especially if you're sitting next to one of the blue LED bars.

Same to the Crab legs overcooked and tasteless. Not many seafood selection for bbq/hotpot. Pineapple very sour, looks not ripe yet. We had hotpot and bbq. There's always missing items especially the meat, not giving much veggies for you very small bunch (few strings watercress) for 5 pp(seriously!) then I figured regardless you add 1 or 5 they give you same amount, long wait too. We just end up feelin " begging for food" because you have to keep ordering to get some food to show up, unlike the experience we had in Danbury. I'd rather drive over there to have a better attentive meal. It's so obvious they failed to performe like a buffet especially there's comparison i had in Danbury and harsdale, NY and New Jersey locations. Service is slow even in a weekday. The person cleaning the table is doing good job, other than that, no one comes over unless we ask for it. Honestly in Danbury they keep coming over to either change the gril (so it doesn't get all the char)l or adding soup because they dry up quickly in small pot and no missing items. And also someone cares your experience.... It was also a birthday celebration night. Unfortunately the overall experience is not pleasant, food quality is below the standard. Hope they can improve as i do appreciate they are in the area.

My uncles husband insisted on taking my husband and myself out for a steak dinner, and wanted to go…read moreto Chuck's. We hadn't been there since their re-opening, so we were looking forward to it. Upon entering, the manager greeted us by saying Merry Christmas, and asked if we had a reservation, we did not, but he said it was no problem. Our uncle had recently had a hip replacement, and asked where we would be seated, (I'm assuming he asked because he was still having difficulty walking, and might have wanted to ask for a close table.) The manager replied, "you'll sit where I put you." Okay, we chose to take it as a bit of humor, and we wound up sitting close to the entrance anyway. We get our menus, and the "specials" menu was a little confusing, because it was Saturday, and the specials menu said it was for Sunday. The manager happened to be walking by, and my husband asked if the menu we were handed might have been given to us by mistake. The manager assured him that EVERYTHING on the menu were the specials of the day. We were still a little confused, because the menu specified certain days when other meal options were available. We then all decided to order the prime rib (Monday - Prime Rib), it may not have been Monday, but it was a specific day on the specials menu. So, when placing our prime rib order with the waitress, she informed us that the prime rib was only available on the day indicated. Derp. Okay, we moved on from that, and we all three decided on the "cowboy rib-eye". From here on, I can only tell you what I experienced with my meal. I ordered the steak and a side of creamed spinach. The $46.00 steak was huge, but very difficult to cut. I had to saw at it, and in trying to do so, ran into so much gristle that it was almost inedible. My creamed spinach was extremely watery and had no seasoning at all. My uncle was sitting next to me, and I saw him repeatedly removing the steak he was chewing, and putting it onto his plate. I was having the same trouble chewing my steak, but I just kept chewing until I could swallow it. Creamed spinach is my very favorite side, so I was willing to overlook the tough as nails steak to enjoy the spinach, but the waterlogged side I received failed that simple assignment. I wish I could have been able to give a positive review, but I just can't. I will never want to go back to Chuck's, even if invited. From the manager's odd greeting and very loud gruff voice ordering the staff around, to an extremely disappointing and expensive meal - this place gets two thumbs down from me.

We got our drinks fairly quickly. It took an hr for us to be allowed in the salad bar. I ate a small amount so not to be spoiled. When it came time for our meals it was a weird buffet style meal. The "fillet mignon", onions and mushrooms were just regular beef. Juicy meat but some of us were expecting a big piece of meat to cut. The tongs were like those old school hand resistance training thingies. The pasta hardly had any taste, the best thing was the chicken parm and mashed potatoes. The servers were okay. But they were spilling drinks around the tables. It was very cold and uncomfortable inside from people opening the door. They could have closed the door to our party room so it wouldnt get so drafty. I would've liked ice cream instead of Costco cake for dessert. It was also full of drunk people shouting all evening. But what was more important was saying goodbye to a very kind colleague. It's unfortunate that the food wasn't so memorable.

The server asked about drinks, nice. There was a large menu and a single sheet menu provided. As I struggled to read the single sheet, it mentions there is a sushi roll special Monday and Tuesday nights, half price. Nice. The regular prices, listed both in the single sheet and the larger, book menu are very, very high (I presume they don't sell many rolls outside of this "special"). Ordered shumai, a spicy tuna roll, a slicy crabmeat roll, and a pepper tuna roll. The app arrived within 5 minutes -so frozen and reheated. The 5 piece order was average. Not great. Tasted like Costco almost. The sushi arrived about 4 minutes later. The restaurant was somewhat crowded, about 10 of the 12 tables were full. The rolls didn't taste fresh. Not a great playing of the food. It felt like a mid-country sushi spot, not warranting the $30. That's just me. And. I, I will not return. If I went on a non-half-price evening - I'd have been angry. Just average at best. Make sure you have glasses and a light, the "ambiance" is crazy dark. Tables seem very close (I overheard, or was part of) a couples' argument on how the husband wasn't supportive of his wife. Just another night in Danbury, I suppose?!
