Small restaurant with limited parking. We came for lunch and had no issues. Casual vibes. Bon chon items all tasted great! Service is quick and family serving is very friendly. Have not been here for years so wanted to give it another chance. I go into NYC, Westchester and Jersey for Korean. One of my favorite cuisines. The pancakes were great. Not the usual thin crispy ones I am used to but still very good. The iced tea tasted old so could not drink it, and the beef had no salt. I took it home to add that. Possible they did not marinade the meat long enough as it had no flavor. Sure other things on menu were fine so check it out and let me know what you liked.

It was our first time here and we had a best experience. Jay the owner was warm and inviting. The place is small and felt special. If you want to dine in during a peak period, make a reservation. Filled up quickly on a late Saturday afternoon.

I've always loved this place. The best Gobdol and Yukgaejang. I go to other Korean bbq and these 2 main dishes that I always get are not the same. Service is great and always prompt for me.

This restaurant is right off the road and has a very small parking lot behind it, maximum maybe 3-4 standard sized cars. The interior is small, they've got 2 booths and about 5-6 normal tables. Partner and I came in for a late lunch about 3:30pm on a Thursday. We were the only patrons which was nice. We were greeted right away and picked our seats. I wish they offered complimentary tea or water but no big deal. Customer service was still super nice and attentive. For appetizers we ordered the fried gyoza. I ordered the Golden Bridge Sushi Roll and kimchi jigae, and my partner got miso soup, Snow White (yellow tail) and the Tuna Trio (spicy). The fried gyoza was super light and crispy. Honestly, the best gyoza I've ever had. The kimchi jigae for me wasn't as brothy as I would have liked, but they gave me plenty of pork that literally fell off the bone because it was so tender. My partner really enjoyed our lunch and we look forward to visiting one more time before our visit in Danbury ends. Highly recommend trying them out!! Everything we had was delicious!! You can also order for takeout and just do a pick up if you'd like. Safety: They do not check temps or vaccination status but all staff wear masks and the whole restaurant is clean. Hand sanitizers are available at the table. HOURS: (As of this review in Dec 2021) Sunday 12:30 - 8:30 pm Monday 11:30 - 9:30 pm Tuesday CLOSED Wed + Thurs 11:30- 9:30 pm Fri + Sat 11:30 to 10 pm

Looking at other reviews and this place had high reviews. I had to try it myself.... And I was NOT disappointed. The goyza starter was so clean and delicate. Extremely crispy and perfectly fried up. As you can see from the photo it was a wonderful golden color and not saturated with oil. The meats inside were well seasoned and delicious. My coworker had the rainbow roll and Hawaiian roll. I had the Jodi roll and Golden Bridge. All of which were amazing. Everything tasted fresh and nothing fishy. The waitress was very sweet and extremely pleasant. If I find myself in the area again, I can't wait to return.

Delicious Korean & Japanese food, a little jem of a place! Totally authentic, rich in flavor and oh so filling!! Lovely find in Danbury, CT!

I stopped by at Edo II after doing some shopping at the Danbury Fair Mall. In times of COVID, they will only seat one table of an immediate family in the restaurant at one time. They take all necessary precautions including checking your temperature at the door and taking your information down for contact tracing. I was able to try the sushi - Kamikaze roll, as well as the Korean dishes including Mandooguk and the bibimbap. Everything was super fresh and tasted like it was homemade. The owner was really friendly and I believe his wife was doing the cooking. This is a great family-owned business in which I hope others can come together to support!

Same to the Crab legs overcooked and tasteless. Not many seafood selection for bbq/hotpot. Pineapple very sour, looks not ripe yet. We had hotpot and bbq. There's always missing items especially the meat, not giving much veggies for you very small bunch (few strings watercress) for 5 pp(seriously!) then I figured regardless you add 1 or 5 they give you same amount, long wait too. We just end up feelin " begging for food" because you have to keep ordering to get some food to show up, unlike the experience we had in Danbury. I'd rather drive over there to have a better attentive meal. It's so obvious they failed to performe like a buffet especially there's comparison i had in Danbury and harsdale, NY and New Jersey locations. Service is slow even in a weekday. The person cleaning the table is doing good job, other than that, no one comes over unless we ask for it. Honestly in Danbury they keep coming over to either change the gril (so it doesn't get all the char)l or adding soup because they dry up quickly in small pot and no missing items. And also someone cares your experience.... It was also a birthday celebration night. Unfortunately the overall experience is not pleasant, food quality is below the standard. Hope they can improve as i do appreciate they are in the area.

Luckily, there is plenty of space for parking. The restaurant has a good amount of outdoor and indoor seating. Its wood accented interior and warm lighting gives off a southern smokehouse feel, which is very on theme to the food they are serving. Ambiance rate: 8/10. They start off with unlimited corn bread which tasted okay, nothing super special. Rate: 5/10. My family and I ordered... 1. Crispy Pork Belly (from the pit) w/ a side of onion rings: This dish was delicious! The meat was nice and juicy, and the skin was super crispy! Rate: 9/10. - The onion rings were also very tasty and crispy! Rate: 9/10. One negative about this dish is it was a small portion of both meat and side for $23. 2. Table for 4: This consisted of an array of different meats from their pit, as well as 4 sides. As a whole, the portions were very generous, making it a very filling meal, and worth the cost. - Full Rack of Baby Back Ribs: This was flavorful however, the meat was very rubbery. It wasn't falling off the bone which was unfortunate. Rate: 6/10. - Brisket: This was my favorite meat! It was super tender and consisted of a good amount of fattiness! Rate: 10/10. - Dry Rubbed Chicken: This was average, tasted like your regular chicken. Rate: 5/10. - Smoked Sausage: This had a great smoky flavor to it making it very yummy! Rate: 8/10. - Pulled Pork: This was okay in terms of flavor and tenderness. Rate: 7/10. The 4 sides: 1. Truffle Mac n Cheese: This was good, except it lacked a truffle flavor which was disappointing. Rate: 6.5/10. 2. Mashed Potato-Brisket Gravy: This was average, nothing special: Rate: 5/10. 3. Baked Creamed Spinach: This was good, but it was more watery than I would've liked. Rate: 7/10. 4. Sweet Potato Fries: If you're a fan of sweet potato fries, these are right up your alley. Unfortunately, I can't give a fair rating since I don't like sweet potato fries. To add on, they give a variety of their different barbecue sauces which was amazing. My favorite was the Apricot Horseradish! The staff were very nice and helpful! Staff/service rate: 8/10. Overall, they hit the spot with some of their meats and sides, while others didn't. However, if you're in the area, it's worth trying their American barbecue!

As a proud, card-carrying member of the "Find the Best Wings in Connecticut" father-son tour, I…read morehave to start by tipping my hat to my fellow Yelpers... because you were absolutely right. My son and I rolled into TK's American Cafe with high hopes and empty stomachs, ready to see if this stop could challenge the reigning champions of our wing universe: J. Timothy's Taverne and The Groggy Frog. Punchline: It didn't dethrone the champs... but the experience itself was still pretty great. First, the atmosphere is fantastic. Old wooden booths, high tops, TVs right at the table, KENO(!!!), and that perfect slightly chaotic sports-bar energy that tells you wings are about to happen. The décor fits the town vibe perfectly and the place just feels like a wing institution. The service? Excellent. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely enthusiastic -- exactly the kind of crew you want guiding you through 70+ wing sauces like a sommelier of poultry. Now... the wings. The chicken itself was excellent quality and cooked perfectly. Crispy skin, juicy meat, great size -- everything you want when the wings arrive. When we saw the massive sauce selection, we were ready for wing nirvana. But this is where the prophecy of Yelp reviews past came true. The sauces were delicious in flavor... but thin in viscosity. Instead of lovingly clinging to the wings like a good sauce should, many of them staged a dramatic escape and formed a puddle at the bottom of the platter. So instead of eating wings, we spent half the meal doing a sort of wing-dunking relay, re-dipping each bite back into the sauce lagoon. To be fair, the teriyaki and barbecue-based sauces held on better, but if you're a classic hot-sauce wing person like me, you may find your wings swimming more than sticking. The blue cheese was excellent, the celery and veggies were fresh and crisp... although the carrots were so wide they looked like they were cut for a horse with impressive jaw strength. Credit where it's due: the steak fries were fantastic, and the nachos were surprisingly great -- the kind that taste like something you could make at home... except somehow way better. So where do we land? Great atmosphere. Excellent service. Very good food overall. But on the Connecticut Wing Power Rankings, the crown still belongs to J. Timothy's and The Groggy Frog. Would I come back? Maybe... but on the drive home we passed about six intriguing Brazilian restaurants and a Pepe's pizza, and suddenly my lunch decision tree got complicated. Still, I'm glad we tried it. TK's is a fun spot with a great vibe -- just maybe bring a spoon so you can scoop the sauce back onto your wings. PS: if you stick blend/emulsify some xanthan gum into the wing sauce when you're making it hot... It will stick perfectly to the wings... In case improvement is something you're interested in

The employee working the front had an extremely rude attitude from the beginning. When I politely asked about my order, she told me, "They're already made," even though I could clearly see the food was still being prepared. What made the experience even worse was watching her repeatedly tell the store manager to delay my order simply because I requested no pickles. Meanwhile, other customers were being helped while I stood there waiting with no explanation and no apology. The lack of professionalism, respect, and honesty was shocking. A simple customization should not result in nearly half an hour of waiting. Instead of helping solve the issue, the employee seemed more interested in creating problems and giving attitude to customers. This was one of the worst fast-food experiences I have ever had. If management cares about customer service, they need to address the behavior of this employee immediately. I will not be returning and would not recommend this location to anyone expecting basic respect and decent service.
