enchiladas azteca

I got the enchiladas azteca and it did not disappoint!! i went right before they closed, and the quality of the food was still great! it tasted exactly like what i expected and didn't leave me feeling gross afterwards. A little over $17 dollars (including tax) for one meal of quality food is worth it to me. i will be returning!

We found a roach at the location. The food had been good but with this experience I didn't want to even be bothered by it.

I have driven by this place many times and finally decided to give it a try. We enjoyed our food however I took away a star because while we were enjoying the chips and salsa, halfway through the chips there was a long piece of black hair. The waitress replaced our chips but as you can imagine that had us on high alert. Our entrees were great and we did not have any more issues. I will return. The portions were huge and the food was flavorful.

I was very happy with our first ever visit to Grand Azteca. The meal started with amazing chips and salsa (which is always a great sign). Our waiter was great and made wonderful recommendations. Everything we had was really good. We ordered Texas Fajitas, molecajete (waiter recommended) and plain steak tacos (for my son). We will definitely be back to this place. Everyone enjoyed their meals and we were disappointed we didn't have room for dessert.

Great servers. Very helpful. Steered me to the best dishes on the menu. Burrito Azteca is killer. Molcacajete is fabulous.

This place is better than Aztecas. I thought Aztecas was one of the best restaurants in the area…read morefor Mexican food, and was I wrong this place is 100 times better. People who sit there and complain about the food being nasty: 1. Don't know how to order the right food 2. Just don't like good food in general I have also seen people complaining about the staff, but little do they know, when a restaurant is busy, the staff stay busy. I've never had an issue where any of the waiters or waitresses haven't checked in on my table. Even if they may have forgotten something (such as a refill or some napkins), they always say they're sorry and bring it right over. I have never had an issue with them. To the people who want to sit here and say that they're one star: just learn how to have better taste in food.

I ordered a taco salad and my friends ordered a chimichanga plate All was delicious. We even had a flight of different alcohol ( I don't remeber what they were) but I do eemeber that we ordered shots of taramid a spicy liquor made from smirinoff it has a dias de Muertos skull on the label. The alcohol was great but our waitress failed to tell us that these shots were $10 a piece where the flight of 4 was like $12. Butttt it was very enjoyable and and fun We really enjoyed the atmosphere and the friendly hospitality Just note that if your bill is a certain amount they do put the percentage of tip that they expect. Overall I will visit again especially since it authentic Mexican food. Until next time, Keep Yelping my friends.

My wife and I have been running errands and wanted to try something new for supper and found this place on yelp. When we arrived it seemed a little quiet, but the hostess/waitress quickly appeared and showed us to a table. From there everything went smoothly. I opted for a plate of enchiladas, and found them to be very well prepared and seasoned. The salsa had that wonderful tomato forward texture to it that I enjoy very much. The room is small, and it's clear that they get most of their business on carryout. That being said I think if you showed up with a somewhat larger party they would be glad to take care of you. They certainly took good care of us.

Being that I'm on this side of town for a few days, I figured it was finally time to check it out. The location's much bigger with more seating than the Rochester Hills one. Nicely decorated with ample seating, you order at the counter and they run the food out to you. Not sure if they have waitresses or not, but that's how they were running it when I was there. I asked if they had Birria tacos and the man behind the counter said they do, just not on the menu. I ordered the taco dinner with shredded beef, rice, beans and a glass of water. I got served chips and dip which was okay, but the salsa was a bit runny for my liking. The "hot" salsa was good, and wasn't overpowering. Eventually, my food came out and it was a huge portion! I was impressed with all three tacos, rice and beans. It was only $13 on the menu, so I was happy with how much food I was served. The beef was a little on the dry side but still fairly good. Rice and beans were decent, but the music was a bit on the louder side. I docked a star for the meat being a bit dry and louder music considering it wasn't really necessary. The man who rang me up was super nice and friendly and also went through the menu with me since I had a few questions before ordering. Overall, a decent meal for the price and I'd return in the future.

The owner and chef, Ricardo, and his staff are attentive and personable. The elote fries are a great way to start a meal. I've also had a pork tamal/tamale. It was a bit dry, but I'm hoping it was just a one-time occurrence. I've tried four tacos on the menu: acorazado (fried chicken), al pastor, ceviche (marinated shrimp), and carnitas. Of those, the carnitas was by far my favorite. The pork is cooked with pig's feet, which noticeably enhances the flavor profile. I've also had the birria pizza. I personally prefer birria tacos, but have not tried them here yet. On the sweeter side, the aguas frescas, ice cream, and sweet bread are all must-tries. I've also gotten the chocolate-dipped banana. I would get this again, but the other sweets are superior. After sampling all the aguas frescas and ice cream flavors, I can honestly say I enjoyed them all. The ice cream stood out the most, as there are so many unique flavors. Prickly pear, gancito, tres leches, bubble gum, and piñon (pine nut) are just a few of the options available. As for the sweet bread, I got it on my way out, and it barely made it to my car. Although I loved the elote fries and carnitas taco, it was the sweets that impressed me the most. Most importantly, everything is made in-house. In a day and age where outsourcing has become so common, an establishment like Michi Michi cannot go unappreciated.
