The kitchen staff worked directly in front of the restaurant, and I think that's really cool because you get a chance to experience and take a peek to see what's going on in the kitchen. Occasionally, they'll have tamales, and when they are in, they quickly sell out. I know they're not easy to make, so it's a treat when you can get it. The interior is a typical restaurant environment, but the energy and the personality of the staff make it a complete experience. They even serve a lot of traditional Mexican beverages, including that Cane sugar Coke. The real secret is there's a cut-over to a full bodega! It is really fun to step in there after dinner and walk through the product shelves, because you're going to see so many options that you can't find at a regular grocery store.
