I had the greatest experience with this company AVK Kitchen & Bath…read more I absolutely love my remodeled kitchen. Their workmanship was superb, and I couldn't find a single fault. The staff and their team were extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and trustworthy. The senior design consultant and manger, Brian was very professional , his recommendations were great, and extremely thoughtful. The production manger Angel, was absolutely fantastic and patient, always answering my calls promptly and attentive throughout the process. The stone company and their team were also outstanding. They told me the project would be completed in three weeks, and it was finished in less than three weeks. I highly recommend them to my friends and family. Fantastic job VKB Kitchen & Bath Team! 18 Months Later... Still No Functional Kitchen We hired VKB…read moreKitchen & Bath to remodel our kitchen and selected cabinets through their vendor, Medallion Cabinetry. What should have been an exciting project has turned into an 18-month ordeal with no end in sight. This experience has been plagued by poor communication, poor project management, and incompetent craftsmanship. The project has taken far longer than quoted, and some of the finished work is so poor that it resembles a DIY job--most notably the installation of our patio door and beverage refrigerator. While some cabinets are acceptable, many arrived defective (cracked paint, loose supports, unfinished details), and others were incorrect or never delivered. It became clear that the initial plans were not properly reviewed, resulting in incorrect material orders. We have had to consistently push to get any work completed and repeatedly demand fixes for issues that should have been done the first time correctly. The project manager was largely uncommunicative, deadlines were missed, and there was little evidence of proper oversight. To be fair, the workers on-site were polite. However, the lack of leadership, coordination, and accountability from management made this a frustrating and exhausting experience. After 18 months, we still do not have a functional kitchen. We have been forced to rely on a microwave, air fryer, toaster oven, and frequent dining out. Outstanding issues include: * Missing and uninstalled cabinets (including refrigerator enclosure) * Incorrect and poorly fitting molding * Damaged quartz (including dulling from acetone use and unremovable smudges) * Incomplete drywall, painting, and ceiling repairs * Pantry shelving not installed * Misaligned patio door that does not open properly * Hardware (handles/pulls) never installed This has been a constant battle to get corrections made. Poor communication, missed deadlines, and low-quality workmanship have defined this experience. We cannot recommend VKB or their cabinet vendor. Do not trust them with your remodel.

This company is horrendous, they don't communicate and can't be trusted to execute anything other…read morethan perhaps a very straightforward project. I had selected a very specific piece of marble for my island countertop, and specified both verbally and in writing at least a dozen times that I wanted that particular piece with its unique veining. I paid quite a bit more than I was initially planning for counters because I fell in love with this specific slab - it was going to be the most unique and beautiful feature of the house and I felt that it was worth it. Despite EXTENSIVE communication from me and the designer (and multiple assurances that the desired section was being reserved), I found out a few days before scheduled installation that they had cut up that section to use elsewhere. After speaking to the manager Cindy, I got a corporate scripted apology and what sounds like questionable retroactive CYA-type nonsense about that section having a scratch that would have rendered it unusable. There was no scratch when I saw the marble in person, or in any of the photos that I took when I visited. Possible that it occurred later, but I was being reassured for WEEKS that the piece I wanted was reserved, and only found out it was gone days before the installation. I was crushed - I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. In addition to this, they accidentally released my marble slabs back into inventory at one point (I only found out because I randomly went to visit, otherwise they could have been sold without me ever knowing). There's no communication between team members, the senior people work remotely and clearly couldn't care less. Do yourself a favor and purchase from a business that actually has functional lines of communication and can accommodate simple and straightforward requests.

CGM installed new countertops in our house. It was such a GREAT and uncomplicated process!…read more Meaghan walked us through all their slabs, and they had a ton to choose from! We ended up with a Cambria quartz that is ABSOLUTELY gorgeous! The installation also went perfect. Our island is fairly large so in order to get the entire slab in the house (in one piece) it required 4 installers. Also we kept our existing backsplash which required them to be extra careful in removing the old quartz and also required a little shimmying of the new quartz to fit it just right. It was a GREAT experience all around and I would highly recommend CGM!!

Knowing that the kitchen is the center piece for all houses now, it was very important that we had the perfect one for us. We found that perfect kitchen at Carefree Kitchens. We set an appointment and decided the first seating with our sales person who helped us through the entire process. Then came and installed and the crew showed up the day written on the contract and we could not be happier with the results. I recommend 100% the work and care that they put into getting us through a most traumatic time.

He gave pretty comparable pricing and told me I could get a shipment within 3 days. All cabinets would come built and I would just need someone to install it. CON: Well, when I decided to order my cabinets, Bud was on vacation and the other guy couldn't take my order. Then the cabinets took longer than a 3-day delivery because of the day I ended up ordering it on. The cabinets also arrived late on delivery day. Bud told me there was traffic. The guys end up telling me it was because they were short staff. I love honesty....no need to lie. So, my contractors ended up waiting around for 3 hours...not fair to them. PRO: Bud tried to make it up to me. A couple of pieces did not come in and I ended up needing an additional filler that he did not charge me for. I also ended up having to order another filler and that came in a timely manner and I picked it up from their showroom. Overall good experience, just need to tighten up ordering and delivery.
