Side note I had calls from two different people and two different numbers to follow up. I had no idea who I was supposed to call back so I decided to come to the store. I walked in and was not greeted. So I walked up to the counter. The man just stared at me so I said I'd like to look at kitchen flooring. He was so short and condescending to me. I watched as other customers got in depth explanations of the differences in styles and thickness etc. they were even taken to desks to talk. He didn't say follow me. He just turned and walked to the counter so I assumed I was to follow. I was taken back to the counter and in a scene from a used car salesman he pounded on the calculator for what felt like forever and then said oh it will be this much. It was such a high number from the estimate I had gotten from them and from other companies. I said can you explain the price break down. He seemed so mad that I asked. Then I tried to look at his paper and in the corner in small print was some calculations. He couldn't explain what he was using for the prices and blamed it all on tariffs. I said ok and started to walk away. He didn't care. He made a face. Actually the whole time I tried to engage him he would make a face and move his hands in a " I don't know what's going on fashion". It wasn't overt but it was there. I had measurements in to their system so clearly I was there to make a purchase. I just can't believe bow I was treated. I mean I stood and listen to the other salesman while this jerk went to start his complex math calculations and they were explaining thickness and differences. I learned a few things actually. From this guy I learned that my money can go elsewhere and I'm not buying a used car so I don't need to be jerked around like this. I really wanted to support local but after this I will not. I should go back and ask for the manager owner whoever but I don't think I'll waste my time.

Mike of Creative Sheds was responsive throughout the process, revising the quote as I changed size, style, and features. More importantly, when Leroy came out for a site inspection, our discussion convinced me that with a bit of path clearance (scrub tree removal) they could pre-assemble and deliver the shed. Which cut about 25% off the price. The shed was delivered yesterday, about a month after finalizing the deal. The delivery man (Keith) was quite expert at moving (with a "shed mule") the 10' x 12' shed the 200 feet from street to shed location. He was creative steering around tree branches (minimizing trimming). Best of all, he avoided a grape vine that was in the pathway. The shed is solidly built, using good SPF framing and solid plywood. Nice touches include magnetic door holds (keep door from closing in the wind), metal plate on front door ledge, and thermal barrier on roof underside. Highly recommended!

We had this all done at a really busy time for us (in hindsight, this was the mistake on our part), as we all know that these days, if you want good-quality work with installs/contractors, you have to micromanage and helicopter it, it seems. We took his word for it on a couple of things and shouldn't have. When he came to measure, I pointed to a spot where there is a dip in our basement, he said they would repair it upon installation. I was at work when the carpet was installed, and when I realized a couple of weeks later that the dip was still there, he tried to gaslight me - saying they would never agree to repair something like that, as it is not something they do since it would be concrete work, to repair a basement foundation issue. He said someone would come check it out, but they never did. It's been 2-3 months now. I had also asked him, while he was at our house, how much would need to be moved/put away. He said, "you don't have to worry about anything but just the little things and anything breakable". My husband questioned this the night before installation, as he noticed the contract stated that most things needed to be cleared, but I told him not to worry about it because Jonathan said we didn't need to. The crew tried to charge us extra fees for having to move stuff or said they would come back another day after we took care of it, but they then wanted to charge us $200-300 for not getting to do the job that day. We fought back on this, so we ultimately did not pay this fee. Jonathan was very condescending throughout this whole experience, playing dumb and somehow forgetting what he said to me. Don't trust what he says and just read the fine print.

From the very beginning , I should have been made aware of certain things when I picked out my LVF. I also got carpet in one n my rooms. Everything was wrong. The order, the installers, the carpet. All of it was done in a rush. The floors have jagged edges. The people that came by to look at the flooring which was done wrong said it makes it look more authentic. The carpet couldn't be laid properly in one area, because the base board to secure the flooring was glued down, to secure the floor, and as a divider. Therefore they couldn't get the carpet secure, under the base board divider. How do u hold down the carpet when the baseboard was glued down? Just a terrible experience from beginning to end. I wouldn't recommend Bodes Flooring to anyone. Just a bad nightmare! I spent quite a bit of money doing the whole house, and I was just another number. So as I said earlier, there are too many flooring companies, and I would not recommend or pick Bodes.

I mostly just wanted to talk about the product: I purchased a Ceiling light that was missing hardware, had rust on parts of the metal, and was obviously a REPACKAGED mess. I know a good electrician install guy who decided to sort through all of the mess to hang it up for me. I had been dealing with too much to do return. I'm sure if you get unopened items, youll be fine. But beware of the boxes with extra tape, because there will be crap in them and also crap missing or rusty.

If I could give KNC 50 stars, I would!  They are really fantastic!  KNC is a company run by two…read morebrothers--Gokhan, the older brother, treated us like family.  Ozkan, the younger brother, who usually is in the shop and cutting the slabs, is also very patient.  I mostly interfaced with Gokhan, who was just wonderful! When we first visited KNC's shop in January 2021, Ozkan (the younger brother) was very patient in showing different samples of countertops; we looked at what they had and he also gave us names of other marble suppliers where we could visit to look at additional marble slabs.  KNC fabricates and installs the marble slabs which you select.  We really appreciated the fact that they weren't pushy or rushing us.   They were very patient. After visiting 3 additional marble suppliers over the course of a month, we settled on a rare quartzite material, which was in limited supply.  One of the suppliers had the material that I was interested in purchasing (Cristallo quartzite), I selected the 2 slabs needed for the job; it was shipped to KNC's location, and when it arrived at KNC's shop, Gokhan discovered that the slabs were cracked and unsuitable for installation--he even sent me a video pointing out the defects.   I had no idea, as I am not an expert, but they are, and they really look out for their customers since they guarantee their work for 2 years, so they did not want to install defective slabs.  We were so grateful for the time and care Gokhan took to ensure that we were receiving a quality product.  We then waited a few more months for the marble supplier to receive a new shipment of Cristallo quartizite.  Once it arrived, Gokhan joined us at the supplier to personally inspect the slabs with us--we inspected many slabs in the lot, and he looked closely at the two slabs that I selected to ensure that there were no cracks or defects.  Again, Gokhan took such time and care to make sure I was getting the best product and one which I would be happy with.  Then the marble supplier tried to unpcharge me an additional $3,000 since the damand for kitchen slabs are very high--but Gokhan helped me to negotiate the price back down pretty close to the original price quoted in February 2021 for Cristallo quartzite.  Again, Gokhan really looked after my interests, making sure that we were happy and not taken advantage of. Then the fun began!  Gokhan came about 3 months earlier to our house to initially measure the kitchen counters, but he came to measure a second time, ensuring exact measurements, truly implementing the wisdom and patience of:   "measure twice, cut once."  I then asked if I could come back to KNC's shop to specify what sections of the slabs I wanted for the different counters and island in our kitchen, and we also selected a sink.  In early July 2021, the work was completed on time, to our delight and satisfaction!  I asked for a cutting board from the sink cutout of the Cristallo quartzite--the installers forgot to bring it on the day of installation, so a few days later, Gokhan personally drove and delivered it to us.   In my experience in dealing with contractors, I have never worked with people so kind, caring, and patient as Gokhan is, as well as his brother, Ozkan.  I would enthusiastically recommend KNC for anyone looking to install new countertops.  They are the best and we so thankful for them!
