Simple customer service goes a long way I hate to dis a hometown store but the more I know the more these ppl, in my opinion just suck. To add to this, if you want tile samples, I found four places online that treat you better than these ppl. It's very disappointing, since we even gave them a courtesy call and they gave us the go ahead, wasted our time, gas/mileage and energy by my having us come into town just to make us turn around. And this review mainly falls upon the poor customer service after I received no expression of regret, no apology, no indifference, even after I explained the inconvenience they had caused me, as the girl returned to her chit chatting and small talk with her coworker with zero concern. I will not be returning and in the end it is the stores loss... The wardrobe we broke our backs loaded up, sells between $3,000-8,000 on first dibs, the same antique French radio cabinet is listed on Cherish for $1,650, the antique barrister cabinets (5 shelves) typically sell between $1,000-$5,000 and the same exact antique Victorian plated door knobs (set of 6) sells for $150-$300 EACH online. We loaded up several boxes full of power tools and hand tools, a work bench, a sleigh bed from Kathy Kuo, an antique wood trunk, several light fixtures and other pieces from West Elm and Rejuvenation, in like new condition, a leather loveseat, a rocker with ottoman, a few boxes of unused tiles, a decent sizes marble slab, sink, and other misc items and supplies I felt were beneficial to this store and it's cause. However, after this type of customer service, and inconvenience, I feel very discouraged in ever returning. I visited Northstar Locksmith to have a replacement key made for a cabinet. I provided both the…read morecabinet manufacturer and the key number. The employee who assisted me cut a key and told me it "should work," but also stated that if it didn't, I was essentially out of luck because they do not provide refunds. Not surprisingly, the key did not work. The next day, I called to explain the situation and inquire about having the cabinet re-keyed. The woman I spoke with indicated there may be another option and encouraged me to come back to the store so they could explore it. When I returned, I was greeted by the same employee who originally cut the key. After explaining what I had been told on the phone, he insisted he had cut the correct key. When I asked why I was receiving conflicting information and whether I could speak with the employee who had spoken to me on the phone, he threw the key back at me and said he couldn't help me. I then went to Able Locksmith and explained the entire situation. They immediately noticed that the key I had been given was different from what was needed. They cut a different key, with the proper teeth pattern, and it worked perfectly on the first try. What frustrates me most is not that a mistake was made, mistakes happen. It's the complete lack of customer service, unwillingness to troubleshoot the issue, and dismissive attitude when I returned seeking help. Within a week we received quotes from two of the other companies that just parroted back our ideas without any design drawings or detail. The third company jerked us around for 3 additional weeks before telling us they were too busy and gave us a baseless and wildly expensive "estimate" for next year. In contrast, Josie Blumenthal from Faltz came to our house twice to sketch the area, take dimensions and develop our design ideas. On the 2nd trip she took aerial photos with a drone and prepared a concept design based upon our ideas. At our third meeting, Ben Brown, Faltz Landscape Architect, who was mentoring Josie, joined the Team and proposed some new design concepts that we liked a lot. We signed a contract and within a week the Faltz crew was on site. The 3-man crew were experienced, polite and professional. Most of the time while the work was in progress, either Josie, Ben or both were on site, assuring the work was in conformance with the plan. At the end of every workday, the crew cleaned our yard and driveway. Three days later the work was complete. The final product far exceeded our expectations, and we are very happy with the entire Faltz Team, especially Ben and Josie. We felt that Faltz provided a superior product and good value. We'd highly recommend Faltz for your landscape needs.

I didn't go with my dad to rent it, but he had a very positive experience renting it. They were helpful and knowledgeable and could tell my dad knew what he was doing. They load the item into your car and unload it when you return so that is a plus because I was the one to return the auger and I was concerned I wasn't going to be able to lift it by myself. They were very kind and helpful when I returned the auger. I was a little late returning it by 7 mins and I was worried they would charge me for a day. On 2/13/26, Donovan Komakhuk and Joe Evans arrived -- even ahead of schedule -- to replace both windows. From start to finish, they were absolutely wonderful. The install went smoothly, and they worked together like a well-oiled machine. They made sure we did a full walkthrough and felt comfortable with everything before they left. What could have been another stressful task during a heartbreaking season turned into one of the most pleasant and seamless experiences we've had.
