I'd purchased the tux in 2004, had worn it a few times since then, but when I tried to squeeze into the suit...yikes! You get the idea. I picked up the suit today. Fatemeh was a miracle worker. She managed to add a couple of inches to the waist and added some room to the jacket in a way that is essentially undetectable. I am very pleased with the job that she did and can't wait to wear it to an event in a couple of weeks. It's also worth noting that she kept me updated on the status of the alterations via text. Well done and many thanks, Fatemeh!!

(The same one she ripped out of her 83 year old hands the day before when she picked her two suits up, and didn't return!). Mom was told it could be fixed for an additional $40-50. She had already paid $72 for hemming two skirts and "taking in" a jacket. One skirt was still NOT hemmed, was still too long and just had the waistband elastic replaced. The one jacket was so badly altered she now has a humpback protrusion at the left should blade and cannot wear it at all now! We will NOT be going back!

This should be 0 stars. They ruined my wool comforter. It was dry clean only (and I paid for dry…read morecleaning) and they admitted to wet washing it. If I wanted it machine washed, I would have done it myself. It shrunk and the wool inside has felted so it feels somewhat hard. I was told by the person I bought it from that it will retain less body heat and will not absorb body moisture now. They only offered me $100, when it will cost over $400 to replace. They said it's old it's not worth that much. It's 7 years old and google says comforters should be replaced every 15-25 years. I refused the offer for $100 and the guy told me to take them to court. Then he gave me a hard time about returning the comforter to me, he was trying to keep it. Avoid!

Yady is nothing short of a miracle worker with alterations! My wedding dress had been with (who I…read morethought was) a very reputable tailor for over two months after taking my measurements. When I finally picked it up, it fit me very poorly. I was totally panicking and unsure of what to do with less than a month until the big day. I took it to Yady as a last resort, knowing she most likely wouldn't be able to fit me in. She totally could have turned me away seeing as it's basically the height of wedding season and I was giving her three weeks. Not only did she accommodate me, she was so friendly and reassuring about it, AND she finished the dress in 2 weeks so that we had a few buffer days to make final tweaks and get the dress perfect. Yadi did not owe me that kind of service whatsoever! I was blown away at her customer service. This was a tall order for a last minute request- NOT a simple hem job. The top of my dress basically had to be completely reconstructed. She totally saved my dress and restored my excitement about the wedding in general. Her prices were also very fair for what she had to do on the timeline at hand. I couldn't recommend her enough!
