I was recommended this place after I had worn holes in both of my tacova cowboy boots. The lady behind the desk has the art of cobbling down to a science and told me everything that was needed to get my boots back in shape and the gentleman in the back are masters at what they do. The price was cheap and the wait time was short for such a quality job. This is a wonderful family-owned business. We were already familiar with them because some of the theatre costume shops at nearby universities take their shoes there for repair. We took some nice leather dance shoes to this business, and the repair was done well. Then we were going to have them repair some older non-leather shoes, but the nice lady at the desk honestly told us that the shoes had dry-rotted, and it wouldn't be worth our money to get them repaired. She also told us where to shop to save money for this particular shoe design that has come back in style. We really appreciated her integrity, and we were happy to see this kind of business still exists! read more

Be careful. This place will charge you before they do any work. If you don't like the work it's tough luck. No refunds. If you misplace your ticket, they charge you again a service fee to "search" for them. If you leave them over 30 days, they will sell them and you are really out of luck. These are not friendly elves. Thankfully there are other places to take your business. read more

Top quality cobbler shop with amazing craftsmanship! The whining in another review is just that... yes, you pay in advance, and yes, if you lose your ticket you are charged extra, but people need to be responsible for their own stuff so the staff doesn't have to spend all day looking for your shoes. These people have always been very accommodating and helpful. They really know their trade. Family Owned. They always do what they say they will do in the time they tell you. If there is a better or less expensive alternative, they will tell you. I walked in once to have a zipper replaced in a leather travel bag thinking it was going to cost me an arm and a leg. They told me I did not need a new zipper and worked with it for about 15 minutes and it was working again! Only charged me $5.00! They are the only people in town I can find to purchase colored Leather polish from also. (Not just Black, Brown, and Clear) read more

They are just taking necessary precautions to protect their business. Don't worry about having to prepay. They will get the work done right and at a fair price.
