He also gave me some very crucial advice: Doc Martins actually don't last that long! I never needed any repair until the leather strip that covers the back of the heel started peeling off and also the soles of the heel are starting to wear off. Mr. Ace glued the strips right there in front of me, and like magic, my boots looks new again! While the soles are irreplaceable (I guess I have to go to Vienna again to purchase new ones, if I'm lucky they haven't closed), I may still have 2-3 years of wear with these boots! I was tearing up while walking back to my car because Mr. Ace didn't charge me anything. He said it was an easy fix. All I can say is that he was one of the few kind people I've met in my life. I will definitely bring my most precious shoes here, especially, the ones just waiting to be loved again!
