Went to Grahams this weekend to pick out lighting for our new home build with 41 fixtures that need to be purchased. My husband and I were looking around when ( Meghan ) approached us..... she was the rudest salesperson I have ever met. This place really lacks in customer service for a high end lighting store. She spoke to my husband and I like we were beneath her standards. She asked if we were working with someone and we told her that we had been recommended to see Meghan, she said oh that's me but I only take appointments through the week and I do not do appointments on the weekend. You will have to call me, text, or email me and I can make you an appointment at my convenience and I will talk to you then, but I don't do walk-ins or appointments on Saturday. .... I'm so confused at this point because she doesn't see people on the weekend to help them with lighting choices yet, she is there on the sales floor??? We took our money and our business to Ferguson where we were treated like friends! Thanks Meghan for turning us away, I would have hated for you to work on Saturday!!This place needs to work on their customer service staff!! read more

I have been a Graham lighting customer for over 8 years. I don't normally post reviews but sometimes the service is so compelling that you must write one. Customer centric service is a dying breed, and it is refreshing when you come across an organization that has sustained a culture of "client first" mentality. Ginger, the owner, has successfully created an environment which makes you feel important as a client. You get the attention, the follow-up, the flexibility, and a small business feel where the vendor goes out of their way to make things work. The business offers an immense selection of beautiful lighting options and design help as part of the process. Me and my wife are picky, but we have been so impressed with the patience, the professionalism, and most of all the "do what it takes" attitude. In this era of disappearing service standards, it's great to see that the spirit of making customers feel special is still alive. I am very impressed and know that you will be as well. read more

Went into Graham's today looking to spend money and like normal was treated like garbage with unhappy, miserable sales people. It's a shame, I end up driving another 20 mins to Ferguson where they are at least kind. I bought about 10k worth if patio furniture with them about a year ago and 3k in lights and wish I would have brought my business elsewhere. Looks like I'll be calling Ferguson to order this light. We bought American made patio furniture and a concrete table and chairs for our upstairs lanai. Not only is the quality fabulous, but the service we received was even better. Nick is absolutely amazing! He is personable, knowledgeable of their outdoor patio lines and vendors, and walked with us through the entire process of selection, buying, and delivery. Disappointing experience. Ultimately what separates a showroom like this from the many (and largely less expensive) internet options that you can find is customer service. Unfortunately, they don't do that very well. In five years, this place won't exist due to their lack of understanding that. Spending $20,000 on fixtures for your house? You will be treated well. Spending less than $2,000 on a few fixtures? You will be lucky if they can even find your order (like us). We had a salesperson who was great to work with initially, but went completely MIA after the credit card had been swiped. After several other swings and misses on her end, I told her she was less than ideal to work with, and she failed to even respond to my message. How apropos. read more

**Updated Review** Shortly after I left the review below, I was contacted by Randy Smith at Graham's. Communication improved greatly once Randy became involved with our issue. He was able to track down a replacement light fixture at another store and had it installed in our house within a couple weeks. The installers were top notch as well. I hate that I had to leave such a bad review at first to get some traction with Graham's, but I have to give kudos to Randy for getting involved and making things right. I'm hopeful that our situation was not typical and his staff at the Franklin store are better able to handle events such as this in the future. ---------------------------- I'm giving this review in hopes that it will be noticed by someone at Graham's. I've spoken to them several times about a replacement light fixture from a new build that has been on back order since August (it is now late November). They showed me pieces on the floor as well as items in their catalog. Over a few hours we will able to purchase everything we needed for a large home. I highly recommend going to Graham's For outdoor furniture. Nic Harpe works with the outdoor furnishings. He had about 15 different lines to choose from. He was wonderful about really listening to what we wanted for our back porch and he got us exactly what we wanted! He even helped us put it together with pillows and an outdoor fire table. We absolutely love our furniture! You will not go wrong doing business with Nic. I suggest calling for an appointment unless you just want to look at their displays. read more

Decent selection although some of the stuff is weird looking you would never buy in a million years but the real problem here are the prices. I love shopping lighting stores can't stand the big box junk so I was hoping for something good here but the prices are just so ridiculously overpriced it's just not a place you would buy just browse. Their problem is customer service. And it's a BIG problem. My wife and I were recently building a new house and our builder had us work directly with all of his subcontractors to select our finishes. Out of the half-dozen subs, Grahams was the absolute worst. To make a very long story short, their employee Ginger (who i think has been there for a LONG time) is rude and very difficult to communicate with. My biggest complaint (PM me if you need to hear the full story) was that Ginger said she did not know how to use e-mail--she claimed that she e-mailed a quote request that we never receive, but that we might not have gotten it because she didn't add the "dot com" to the end of our email addresses. She seriously asked me over the phone, if all e-mails end in "dot com." I just laughed. That speaks to either ignorance or she was covering a lie, and I don't know which is worse. Also, we were told that Graham's Lighting would come out to our new house for a warranty check (which all of the other subcontractors did, but not Grahams), which is too bad since their electrician(s) made several errors that we've had to correct out of pocket. Seriously, I have too many problems with Graham's to go into here--I only wish I could give zero stars. We ended up ordering several of the fixtures Graham's picked for us from Overstock.com for less money just to give Graham's Lighting as little of our business as possible. read more

As I sit here, very aggravated with Grahams Lighting, I am more than amused after reading other reviews on this company. They sound like mine. For example one reviewer says "Basically, just out and out rude employees. No one offered to help me and when I asked for help, I felt like an interruption." But I did get "help"...from a sales person who was just to good to help me with a $500.00 purchase. And, she would not let me take a brochure home to show my wife. She said "we don't have many and our sales reps need them." In the end, that was a good thing because like Mike H., who saved money by going elsewhere, I saved $150.00 by going online to the manufacturers' website. I came in to look at just one light. I loved the selection in the store. Great wide range of choices. I was asked by three different people if I needed help. Our builder used Graham's. Sales people were somewhat nice and pretty helpful but that came after they knew we would be buying from them. We went in before and were pretty much ignored. The problem is 6 months into living here i have lights that don't work properly, one that fell off the celing in my daughters room. I ended up missing a fan for my office that we had picked but was never on the list. A front porch light has a bulb that constantly unscrews itself. They are NOT cheap either. I can sit at home and look on the internet and pick lights for an entire house cheaper and easier than what happened in there. read more

The salesman was condescending and unhelpful for starters. I purchased costly light fixtures from this place and called them to confirm they had 2 particular replacement light bulbs. When I arrived at the Franklin, Tennessee store the man told me that he did not have the bulbs.
