In a single word, Ole and Derrick are amazing. They have continued to impress me with their…read morecustomer service, honestly and price. Over the last year we purchased our own tank from PacWest, had them install and fill it. One of the benefits of owning a tank is that you are not tied to a contract or lease price, I'm able to shop for the best price. That being said, I can't even imagine getting a better price anywhere else.

PacWest was GREAT. They were "forced/priced" to "retire". Suburban Propane's 1st story was PW 'went…read moreout of business' & SP had 'taken over' all PW customers. Their refill quote in February was triple the price of propane at gas stations, due to my 'low consumption'. I told them to pound sand and make an appointment with me for tank removal. They sent several tank rental fee letters with past due charges; with no proof of ownership, no past, current or new contract, nothing but a bill; 5 red flags. I called again to refute the charge & they said tank removal would cost me $150; 50% more than a year of rent conveniently. I should send them a past due STORAGE fee. This is America and I will choose who provides my services. They did not acknowledge my first conversation, their story NOW was PW owner "retired"; red flag! Past due charges after I refuse any business with them and tell them to retrieve the tank! SP does not own that contract u had with PW. Shop around. Buy a 60 gallon tank or two and fill at a station. Have a handyman assist. SP's practices will have you paying 2 to 3 times or EVEN MORE than necessary. They downplayed all their negative reviews; red flag! THIS IS AMERICA & unfortunately capitalism can mean the big invisible corporation will force the 5 star local businesses out & jack prices up each time they gobble up another. Self Protection is what SP should stand for; BUYER BEWARE. Thank goodness for YELP! I was lucky to have read up on SP. The sound of my head popping out of nowhere land was LOUD. Do not say yes, do not sign, do accept propane, do not pay for rental or removal I to a company you did not contract with. Ask them to remove your info from your records. Record your phone calls with them, at least take very good notes. Happy & Safe 4th to all; FREEDOM!

Recently, during the process of selling our home, there was a suspected gas leak and Rob came out immediately (after-hours) and inspected the tank and lines to put both us and the buyers at ease. Rob was knowledgeable, full of tips and advice on everything propane, and just pleasant to work with...even late on a Friday night! Katie in the main office has been super helpful in answering questions about our move and transfer of service and leftover propane. Working with them will certainly influence us if we find ourselves in need of propane at our future destination!

Pacific Coast was unable to resolve the leak and proceeded to destroy the manifold while trying to remove it. I called multiple propane companies, and only Suburban Propane in Spanaway was able to remove the destroyed manifold and replace it. I worked with the operations manager "Jonathan Parks" and the Field Tech Specialist "Dean" to get the work completed. The manifold was not in production anymore, but Suburban Propane was able to locate a new one for my 500 gallon underground propane tank. My only other alternative solutions would involve digging up the buried tank and buying a new one, or abandoning the tank and getting a new above ground tank. Both of these alternatives would have cost me multiple thousands of dollars. It took a while to locate a new manifold for my tank, but Suburban Propane made the effort and were able secure the part to fix my propane tank. Thanks Suburban Propane. Dave Cannarella

They provide a safety check upon each visit. I have never run out of fuel, even when it snows. The customer service is excellent from all the employees I have spoken with either in person or by phone. Drivers are courteous and hard working, every time. For those concerned about costs also understand what you receive. A home grown, clean energy source, which is abundant here in our country. No more financially supporting unfriendly nations. I have 2 - 120 gallon tanks, one for heat & cooking and one for a gas grill. They now offer a new service where you pay for what you use on a specific cycle so it is also budget friendly. These are the only people I trust with my heating and cooking needs.

After 3 weeks with no contact I called them again, spoke to the same person and she promised to have a manager call me to resolve the issue. Manager "Joanne" called me and was extremely rude and knew nothing of the situation. I asked her to have Ms. Carbone brief her, review the file and call me back. She never did. Instead several weeks later my neighbor informed me they had removed my tank, and left the lines hanging, stealing my remaining inventory in the process. I called and was referred to District Manager "Kelly" who did not help and said "Georgia" at corporate collections would call me. That never happened either.....a pretty harsh way to treat a customer with an 800+ credit rating who has literally never paid a bill late once in his entire life. They are not a locally owned company as their website proclaims and it is seemingly not possible to get a hold of a reasonable person who cares about their reputation or the way they treat their customers. This is not embellished in any way nor are any facts omitted. This is a true and factual account of what transpired in Jan-Mar 2026.

Canyon Road Gas and Deli Mart - Wabodi Special was super! Three meats and three cheeses with all the fixings. Best sandwich on South Hill!

We were at my boyfriend's house and looking for somewhere nearby when Yelp directed me here. We drove a couple of blocks up the road to the gas station not realizing that the gas station we drive by all the time also has freshly made deli sandwiches. Though, at the other end of Canyon, there is the gas station that makes the best pizza, so I suppose it's the same owner who found a niche. I LOVE it. Reminds of when I was a kid and you could get gas, a fresh sandwich or hot meal, and a soda or whatever and be on your way. We go in, and are greeted by a very friendly guy, who when I say I hear they have sandwiches, proceeds to explain the menu options without hesitation. I love that you can mark on the menu exactly what you want so the employees can make it the way you want it. We opted for their famous Wabodi sandwich and was not disappointed! The sandwich is huge and they don't skimp on the meat, cheese or toppings. The price was right. While waiting for our sandwiches to be made, my boyfriend went to pump gas and I was offered a spot to sit in the "dining area." They actually have a little portion of the store opened up with chairs and counter space so you can eat there, if you want. I thought it was very sweet of the counter person to direct me over so I didn't have to stand around awkwardly. Overall, this store is clean, has great customer service, and has a good stock of products. Then, on top of that, they'll make you a sandwich. I hear they also do breakfast and lunch items, but I haven't had those, so will have to update my review if ever I do. But believe me, it's worth it for the nice people and the sandwiches, just like their sister store down the road is worth it for the nice people and the pizza. They've got both ends of Canyon covered.

Their service was on point and the quality of the product is second to none as a matter of fact, I don't think you could really compare this to anything but an old school delicatessen and to be honest, they might have beat them on that too so do yourself a favor when you're getting your gas tank filled up over here or getting some propane for your barbecue go inside and order up a sandwich, a pizza or some fresh chicken all ready to go at this amazing location
