Was surprised at how expensive everything was, but it truly was such good quality food and everything was so delicious and beautifully presented. The decor is also so well executed and cohesive throughout! read more

This restaurant is incredible. Big Vibe Concepts hits it again with their California inspired concept. New to the area and we've been twice already. The Jacy is a cocktail familiar to their other restaurants (Gratify, Coppa, Flora). Always a favorite, perfectly spicy and strong yet not overpowering The charred octopus is fantastic. Cooked with perfection and the creme fraiche paired with it made for an excellent start The miso caesar salad gives a nice savory flavor with the fresh gem lettuce. The biggest hit is their raw options. The pink tartare and ceviche combo are flavorful and the plantain chips to pair will leave you wanting more. The service is impeccable. Grant Cooper came by our table to ensure our experience was top notch. We look forward to coming back read more

The service is exceptional. The value for the food is fair to good, in particular with the "stuffed crab avocado" which would be better named, creme & ricotta stuffed Avocado. That said, the octopus was delicious and paired nicely with the potatoe and chorizo. Great vibe and atmosphere. read more

Everyone is talking about how amazing the server Brian was...clearly you have not had Dais as your server! She was amazing and so helpful in deciding drinks and bites! Food and drinks were great. Will definitely come back. Thank you Dais for making our first experience a great one! read more

New to the city and very fortunate to find this absolute gem of a restaurant! Loved all the great seafood options and the diversity of the menu. Would highly recommend the charted octopus and the combo ceviche, but everything we had was excellent and very fresh! Great service from our service Deja. Usually these type of restaurants can be pretentious, but service was very friendly and warm. Will definitely be back! read more

Had dinner here on Wednesday night. Our server was a breath of fresh air - she was so lovely! She explained each of the dishes really well and gave very accurate descriptions of the cocktails. We loved all of her recommendations. We split 5 or 6 appetizers - each of which was a pretty good size and had 2 cocktails each - there wasn't a single dish or cocktail that wasn't delicious. The food was all very fresh, interesting flavors, high quality ingredients. I will definitely return. read more

Love this place! The food and service is always great. The shrimp and crab fried rice is my absolute favorite!

Food is amazing and different. Flavors are so yummy! Service was great and ambience was nice

I really enjoy eating here I've been twice in the past. I wanted to go a third time but my reservation was not honored. I am very confused how my reservation did not hold but another couple with the same reservation time were seated. I was on time as well. I was also told there was "another reservation ahead" of me. Huh? Very displeased with the difference in treatment. They said I'd have to wait another 30 minutes for a table to hopefully open up. I decided to leave. I will not be dining here any longer. And I do not recommend you dine here either. read more

The food was good. The service left me utterly speechless. 1. My husband ordered the cod croquette. The waiter said "no, you can't order one. It's only 3 very small items. You have to order two of them." I was taken aback by this treatment. It wasn't presented as a helpful suggestion - it was a command given in a sleazy car salesman tone of voice. Doubled the price of my husband's appetizer. 2. At one point in the middle of service, the waiter asked my friend if she wanted a third glass of wine. She said no thank you but maybe later. (A polite way of saying no). The waiter said well actually I'll bring you one now since if you order one later, it will take so much time to get from the bar (5 feet away) that it's better for me to bring that to you now. WHAT?!? She said no. She didn't want a third glass. Waiter brought her one anyway. 3. The service was very rushed and the waiter was brusque and rude the entire dinner. 4. When we got the bill, the waiter gave me an option of 3, 5, or 7% tip. I was super confused bc I normally tip 20 for good service and 10 for bad. So I chose 7. Later I mentioned I didn't understand why 7% was the highest I could choose. She said oh no gratuity was already added so he shouldn't have asked you for more at all! What?? I said I honestly feel like I'm in Egypt the way they have treated us all night by asking every single person at the table for an appetizer order and then bringing two of every appetizer ordered and then bringing more drinks we hadn't ordered and now I've just accidentally tipped 30% for terribly rude service!!! 5. The absolute worst part of the evening was when the FOH manager came over and told us to leave. Not for being unruly (we're all older attorneys) but so they could give our table away. I have never been asked to leave a restaurant before. We paid over $700 for a meal to get kicked out? And we were only there for 2 hours. The FOH manager told the group at the bar that he had asked us to leave and they stood there GLARING at us. No I will never go back and I will tell everyone I know that I was kicked out after being hoodwinked into giving my rude waiter a huge tip. Horrible experience. read more

Visited in April 2023 and again recently - each time the restaurant had delicious food, great drinks and even better service! Dais took such great care of us. We will definitely be back again soon! read more

We were really looking forward to trying this place. We made a reservation for 5:30pm on a Sunday with our 1 year old. When we asked for a high chair they said they didn't have any and proceeded to look perplexed when we said we wouldn't be dining with them. It is very strange for a restaurant to not have any high chairs. There an also several restaurants around and no one even suggested that they go borrow one from elsewhere. Definitely felt like they did not welcome children. Such a shame. read more

I would give this restaurant 4/5 stars for the food and ambiance, but I had a problem. I looked at my credit card statement and noticed I was overcharged. When I called the restaurant and spoke to the manager, I was charged a $19 tip. The manager was more concerned with getting the blame off of the bartender and less about pleasing the customer. She was unapologetic and nothing doing for my convenience. Once I said I was going to have my credit card company deal with it was when I was finally granted a refund for the $19 tip I did not leave. I try to support the smaller businesses, but this one didn't worry about making me feel better about returning. read more

great place to take friends for a semi-casual upscale day out. would recommend the ceviche and crab fried rice for sure. portions are a little small for the price but the experience is well worth it read more

Came on a Thursday night with friends and enjoyed the ambiance! As it gets more crowded they do pump up the music so be prepared for that--it can make it a little hard to have a conversation. The restaurant was clean and crisp looking with a beachy, Tulum-y vibe and very friendly wait staff (shout out to Deja!). Our group of 6 ordered some cocktails, all of which were good but not exactly super inventive or mind blowing. Service on the second round of drinks (including a beer) was pretty slow so recommend going early if you don't want to wait awhile. We tried the crab stuffed avocado which was pretty bland, ceviche (good), and cod croquette (bland but I never like croquettes--they just taste like potato). All incredibly overpriced. The mains came (the halibut special was laughably late to the table halfway through everyone else's meal) and we tried the salmon rice bowl which to be fair was delicious but for almost $30 should absolutely come with more than 3 bites of salmon. Portion of protein is an actual joke. Pork ribs was a very large portion but the "slaw" that comes with it is a terrible side. Doesn't go at all and is light on flavor and dressing. nothing was bad but for the money this is absolutely not worth it. There's plenty of good vibe restaurants with either better or cheaper food and I suggest you visit those instead. read more

I was excited to try this restaurant for the first time, but now regret it. I got food poisoning. The kitchen needs to do a better job when it comes to handling, storing, prepping food, because I see that customers getting food poisoning is a recurring issue at this restaurant. (Hence, the MULTIPLE reviews) They also had people spray painting a mural in the restaurant while people were dining. It smelt like paint fumes, which is definitely not safe. The Houston Health Department needs to give them a citation. 0/10 do not recommend. read more

A+ for service, decor/ambience but with so many amazing places with such powerful flavors in houston this seemed to fall short. Also $19 for a mock tail seems to be highway robbery. read more

Recently I won the "most amazing restaurant in your neighbourhood" lottery. My prize: Graffiti Raw. Let me tell you something my fellow Yelpers: This one is the grande prize above all grand prizes. The menu is so fresh, I need to slap it every time I'm there. Quality sea or land-based galore with me having to slap myself silly to remind me that I'm not in NYC or Europe. There is a genuine feeling of care and attention placed into every plate from the pasta to the tortilla chips & guac to the high end dishes. A well balanced complementing drink menu is intended to make the experience glitter. The outdoor seating is comfortable and well-appointed. There is no cheap outdoor furniture here or paper napkins, this is first class stuff. The owner's history of quality Houston spots like Brasserie (former) 19 is clearly evident in the level of attention and customer experience. The venue had its soft opening recently but I couldn't tell. It all felt like the staff have been in place for years. A special thank you to Nicole (management) and Phillip (behind the bar) for being knowledgable and accommodating. One note to potential visitors: This isn't average food and please understand that quality food must have a relevant price and for what you get, it's 100% worth it. Date night, happy hour, family meals, GR fits any occasion. Enjoy and thank the chef and the staff. Cheers! read more

We went during soft opening, and I must say that the octopus was outstanding, love the crab rice, the cocktails were absolutely delicious, and service was definitely on point. read more

Somewhat nice effort on the aesthetic, although it felt like a quick attempt to borrow from Tulum more than a grounded vibe of it's own - and the food needs more Intention. The owner being someone who's travelled the world and experienced quality cuisine as well as owns two other restaurants that run well, a cheeseburger that drips on grease is disappointing. The world is on a healthier path and reinforcing that into our diets in the US is a crucial element that should be taken from other cultures. It was incredibly soggy with grease. The other food was equally mid level. That being said, a new restaurant needs a solid year to feel out the menus and for the chef to perfect the designs of the dishes. I'll give it another shot in 6 months, but it felt thrown together in entirety. A weaker effort, that hopefully will improve in time read more

I would love to give this place a higher rating. Our server was great and was very helpful, the interior is super cute and the drinks were excellent! However, they have little to no vegan options. Our server tried his best to be as helpful as he could, however, there just wasn't much to go off of. Everything else was perfect though! read more

Graffiti Raw - linguine clams and Ceviche Combo - Seafood Near Me - Houston, Texas

Horrible. They made us wait 1.5 hours even though we had a 7pm reservation (ended up getting seated at 8:30pm). Got the crispy tuna rice for appetizers, was pretty underwhelming especially since it wasn't really crispy. Got the crab & shrimp fried rice for the second course- I was excited about this since I'd heard the most reviews about it. If you love things that are seasoned probably with good flavor then I would suggest NOT to get the rice - it's tasted like plain/ barely seasoned fried rice that you could frankly get ANYWHERE (so definitely overhyped from customers who are not used to great seasoned meals). Had the angus cheese burger and fries for the third course - decent, but nothing out of this world. I'd say the best meal was the dessert - tres leches. Overall experience, I'd give it a 5.5/10, mediocre food and poor management. Our server was super friendly and nice though! read more

Can't even begin to explain how great this restaurant is! Delicious food. Everything we had was absolutely fabulous, from the burger, to the salad, to the stuffed avocado! The tuna on crispy rice could've been a bit crispier, but overall was great. Both times I've been there, I've been fortunate enough to have the same friendly, very knowledgeable and enthusiastic server. She's all smiles. Atmosphere is amazing. read more

The food was good; however, they must train their staff to serve. First, we were there around 1:30 pm. The concierge lady told us that there were five empty tables are all saved for reservations customers, which, until we left, it's still vacant. And the servers try to clean our table when we are still eating. read more

Food was good, not sure worth the actual price. The burger was okay, it definitely does not look like photo. Can't really see the patty near the edge of the bread, so for light eaters, sharing is out of the question. Cocktails are pricey, but worth it--the caipirinha delish and close to the real deal. Desert was fine too. Nothing mind blowing considering the prices. If you like seared tuna, avoid the tuna seared pasta plate--it's more like a pasta plate with a few shreds of raw tuna, the tuna was basically the crouton. Staff and service was friendly, above and beyond and very polite and happy, always smiling--this def doesn't happen anymore. Perhaps the ambience is nice inside, we had Friday lunch there outside; feels like an alley way with all the raucous around on Kevin street and California; not relaxing--perhaps if there was a pergola with vines, instead of the umbrellas(although they were beautiful) the feel outdoors would be more suiting to the pricing. Don't think I'll be back, unless it's someone's birthday dinner and we try out the inside. We each spent $100 with tip with very minimal eating and minimal drinking. I don't mind spending, but not sure this was worth $200, as my husband was with me as well. --perhaps more of drinks and appetizers place... read more

I'll let it be known ahead of time review is based solely on food you get for cost. Food and drinks were good! Had two drinks the gratify smash which my wife enjoyed and I had a oaxacan old fashioned which was good as well. Both were about 17 bucks which is the norm now for cocktails now a days. Had the miso ceaser, a bit dry for my liking but still good flavor with the garlic crisps, also had the roasted oysters which were super good. Comes with 6 unfortunately. All in all 2 drinks, salad and oysters 100 bucks later... Ehhhh. read more

Food and ambiance were amazing! Beautiful designed interior and great pasta in particular

Food was great and ambiance awesome. But they charge an up charge for a martini (aren't all martinis up?) and they also charge $4 for olives in the martini and the martinis are tiny. Just charge for a martini and make them a normal size. Ridiculous. read more

We arrived on a Saturday afternoon and were greeted by two really friendly ladies who made us feel very welcome. Wow I thought, this place is going to be great! The restaurant had a nice atmosphere. The server was ok and was pretty much gone once she took our order; not sure what happened there. Other servers appeared to be more engaged with their customers. The food was ok; the cod fritter was more fritter than cod; the burger was $17 with fries and an ok burger. Coke was $4 and you get the teeny tiny room-temperature can which seems like nickel and diming ($8 for two tiny cokes). The server returns towards the end of the meal to ask if she can bring the check, when I'm still eating...lol. That was pretty much it! We returned to pay for our parking in the garage. Overall, just meh. read more

Wow, we had no idea what we were walking into but have never had a bad meal at one of Grant Coopers places yet. This one could be his best even though we never got past all the appetizers. We got the caviar and crackers, Cesar salad, grilled Octopus, half dozen oysters on the half and roasted Oysters. Flavor was outstanding and big portions. Quaint place, cool decorations and great cocktail menu but won't be long before Resy will be 3 weeks out. Service was terrific too!! read more

This place is a joke. Like a Seinfeld bit about taking vs. holding reservations. We appeared 10 minutes prior to our reservations only to eventually give-up and leave after waiting for our table for over 45 minutes. They crammed so many tables into the tiny dining room that it took five minutes of creative pathfinding just to get to the restrooms. Well at least we could wait at the bar and have drink...or so we thought. Despite having a service bar on the end of the bar closest to the dining room, for some reason the waiters thought it better to get drinks from the other side of the bar and then traverse the entire length of the bar, bumping into/interrupting patrons standing at the bar. One even spilled a drink on me. Once we were finally able to place an order, my beer was served without a glass and I got attitude from the bartender when I was finally able to get her attention to request a glass. I can't comment on the food as we were never seated, despite having reservations, but nothing I saw looked overly impressive. One would hope this experience was a one-off, but from reading the reviews, disorganization seems to be a common theme. If you have been wanting to try it out, I would suggest going soon (and during off-peak hours) as I doubt it will be around for long. Houston is fortunate to have so many great places to eat, that concepts like Graffiti Raw that can't quite figure out the basics likely won't last long. read more
