But the $4 cup of add-on Lobster Bisque tasted more like assorted shellfish trimmings-- not inedible but not amazing either. The vanilla bean vinaigrette on the Summer Berry Salad ($14) was a pleasant surprise hit with my son's partner, but her $12 add-on of Blackened Salmon for it was unmasterfully overcooked for the thinner portion cut. Overall a poorer value for $26 compared with the Seared Salmon plate (a narrower, thicker portion). Elements is probably a better meal choice for the $30-40/person base range of their menu offerings-- and will obviously push higher with alcohol service. (The $15 Empress gin and Chambord Bartender's Roulette cocktail we ordered was pretty well prepared.) Perhaps even better a destination when the elements of weather suit sitting outside near the river overlook -- would help make up for zero table bread service offered; very odd for a "near fine dining" restaurant and menu. Otherwise on a rainy autumn evening, our tight-quartered, bouncy bistro booth was adequate but not great ambiance. 3.5-4 stars

I recently dined at Gracy's, and my experience was extremely disappointing. Despite the restaurant being empty when we arrived, the service was abysmal. After being seated and ordering teas, we were left waiting for 15 minutes with no attention. During this time, we watched in disbelief as a white family who came in after us was immediately served waters, had their food orders taken, and received thorough answers to their questions. Our server neglected us completely, showing a blatant disregard for our presence. To make matters worse, the staff seemed clueless about the significance of Juneteenth, which is not only disheartening but also indicative of deeper issues within the establishment. The entire experience was marred by undertones of prejudice and racism, making me feel unwelcome and disrespected. I would not recommend Gracy's to anyone seeking fair and respectful treatment. read more

The food at Gracy's was absolutely delicious, I've never had cuisine quite like it. I will defnitely be coming back, if I ever come back to the US of A. As a picky eater they offered me things that would be safe and suit my tastes which made me feel comfortable in the restaurant. The ambience here makes me feel warm and safe. uhm yeah, that's it Gracy's is amazing and definitely will be coming back if ever do come back to the USA !!!!!! My steak was cooked perfectly and had good seasoned flavor. The eggs were also perfect, and not overcooked with hard yolks. The hash browns were a nice compliment to the meal. The English muffin was a bit chewy, and would have been better if it was crispier. My eating companions liked their meals also, which were the Turkey Bacon Tomato Sandwich and the Clubhouse Sandwich. They also ordered the Hot Fudge Cake to close out the meal. This was huge and all three of us shared it. I will definitely come back again to try a few of their lunch and dinner options.

I'd be fine with changing my drink selection. The scone fries are a fun sweet to end the meal with. Less sweet than a funnel cake dough (imo) but the raspberry cheesecake dip really helped! Overall, I'll return, but be selective about what I get, and maybe I'll dine-in.

This is a five star establishment, then why do I give them two stars? Here's why…read more Their food is phenomenal, their bread is the best in town, if not the state. Their croissants are amazing, the best in the country, award winning, their burrito, well, although good, it lacks a little flavor, but still five stars. Then why two stars? Why? One word, service. Nothing is more frustrating than walking into a food establishment and waiting 30 minutes to pick up two croissants. I walk up to the counter, I point at two beautiful butter croissants sitting right there behind glass, and say, "I'll take those two." The person at the register takes my order, but then doesn't just reach over and place the croissants in a small bag and hand them to you, they put your order in the queue behind ten burrito orders, so now you wait 30 or more minutes to pick up your two croissants. To me, this is absolutely ludicrous. In comes the coffee, now I understand why they have some of the worst coffee in the valley--cold, self-serve, rattle can coffee. They're located right next to the best five star coffee shop in the entire country, Ibis Coffee, so you might think, well, I'll go buy a cup of coffee at Ibis, and a couple wonderful fresh butter croissants at La Croissant. Nope, you'll order your two croissants at La Croissant, walk over to Ibis, order your coffee, sit down, drink your coffee, finish your coffee, and surf Facebook, long before your two croissants are ready for pick up. (No, you're not waiting for them to bake, it just feels like it.) ...and that's why two stars. Their own success and lack of efficiency is their downfall, and why I never go back.

On a positive note, my tots were tasty and crispy. They didn't taste like old grease like tots can tend to do. Unfortunately, my burger tasted like an premade dense puck-like patty with an "old" flavor to it. I tried adding a few of the sauces since the mushrooms and Swiss cheese could not overcome the "old" flavor. We probably will look for some place else to eat next time we are in town.
