Pup hard at work and his chai latte!
    Jamie P.

Been to Grace a few times in both locations and the atmosphere and vibe is always unmatched for coffee work days. However the drinks and menu do NOT make the cut to match the perceived standard, and I say this after giving them multiple chances because I love their open well lit workspace. It was nice that they allowed me to bring my well-behaved pup. Pictured is the iced chai, topped with cinnamon but really just tasted like dirty dish water (coming from someone who likes chai!) No distinct flavor, way too watery and milky, no kick and for a high price too. Loved the cup though! I've had the food here months back (eggs ben) and it's alright, fast food plated nicely and with a high price tag, they are not a full kitchen so understandable, the cheddar potato balls are crispy and yummy though Probably will still continually return for the vibes and nice space and order out of necessity, but if you are looking for a coffee kick, Grace is not it sadly :(

I love spending lunchtime at a café. And this looks like a great place to spend that time. There is plenty of space and all different areas to relax and talk. It can get a bit loud when crowded, but it doesn't seem annoying. This a great place to spend a relaxing couple hours or get some work done in a private corner. For readers, I'm not a coffee guy. I'm a foodie. And they have quite a broad selection of goodies, from sandwiches to pastries. And if they all taste as good as the Chocolate Croissant, then I'm in trouble. It was amazing! Crunchy soft and well balanced buttery chocolatey taste. The Everything Croissant Sandwich is big enough for 2 and loaded with egg, bacon, etc. The Hashbrown Bites are an immediate favorite (crunchy deep fried hash browns filled with gooey tasty cheese...omg!) The next visit will be one to taste all the other goodies behind the counter. Hummm!

Great to have something this large in Verona for a breakfast meet up with friends. Lots of seating. Bright and airy. I've had lots of the baked goods - great but HUGE the açaí bowl - also good but they always forget a topping or two and I get bummed it doesn't look like the photos the avocado toast - great classic and most recently the breakfast burrito with cheesy hash brown balls The pumpkin spice latte is my favorite. Why not 5 star? Sometimes when you order, you wonder if your drink or food will come up correctly. Sometimes you get a buzzer, sometimes they just yell out, maybe a name that resembles yours ordered before you. It usually works out. The staff making the drinks are right across the counter and they're pros at not making eye contact to ask them "is this mine?" They used to have hemp milk as an option and last time I went they got rid of it.

Cool spot! We met a friend from the area here and were impressed with the atmosphere and great work environment it gave us. They have spacious, comfortable seating, as well as lots of access to power outlets (a surprising rarity sometimes!). They offer lots of coffee options as well as food. Would definitely come here a lot if we lived closer. Everything was clean and staff were super friendly and welcoming. The only con we could think of is the pricing is a little high. $.75 to add a flavor and $1 for oat milk when the prices of the base drinks are already high. Overall 4.5 stars, want to come back again!

Chai is watery. Pattie's we're rich and delicious we got some kind of tart and a scone. The blueberry lemon scone was huge. Grace has a beautiful ambience inside with plenty of places to sit and hang with friends or do work. Counter service.

Dreaming of an almond croissant... Ordered from Grace not too long ago via door dash and ended up with an almond croissant instead of this other pastry we ordered. It was delicious. Also ordered the croque madame that day, that was a 3/5. Today, I was hoping to get the croissant again, but alas, they were out :( instead got the following: - everything croissant sandwich - delicious. Super filling and tasty. The everything greens I got with it were dry, no dressing, but fine! - chocolate strawberry cold brew - tasted just like a chocolate strawberry but way too sweet for me. Gave it to my boyfriend instead and he liked it Will definitely keep coming back in search for the almond croissant !!

Second time I came here and not as exciting as the first time. They deep fry their potatoes so I opted for no sides ( because I know their salad dressing has lemon and I am allergic). I got my breakfast and of course there was salad on the side with lemon on it! UGH! I ate the sandwich ( lucky nothing of the dressing touched it) and it was a lot of egg. All I could taste was the oil on the egg and my plate was saturated from the oil that dripped off the egg on the sandwich. This could be such a wonderful place but potatoes should be sautéed in a skillet. It gives them better flavor and the eggs do not need so much oil. If I am at a greasy diner I expect greasy breakfast.... But not here at a nice place like Grace.

It has most things I'm looking for in a cafe/breakfast place. Good food, nice atmosphere, good service. I've never had pork belly hash before but I wish I would have! It was delicious. Nice to have a fattier meat with the eggs and potato. I've also eaten the breakfast tacos and they were good. The prices are a little high for everything but the portion sizes are large. I would try the cinnamon roll for the novelty since it's soo huge, but it doesn't really taste good. It's dry and not a good ratio of icing to bread. A little disappointed with that. The atmosphere is modern, high ceilings, lots of space.

Tucked I a cozy house, the Sow's Ear is part coffee shop part knitting craft store. They offer a variety of knitting classes and community offerings under this roof. It was bustling with warm energy during both of my visits. They sell baked goods form Madison Sourdough Company, a variety of coffee and tea drinks along with a few gift items like jams, coffee beans, and earrings. We ordered the protein oatmeal topped with walnuts and pumpkin seeds (twice since it was so good- and healthy) and the toast with rhubarb jam. On one of the visits they were willing to make cinnamon toast for my sister who was sick at the hotel with the flu. A family comfort food. "They also make a delicious "fierce mocha with chocolate and cayenne. Highly recommend this charming spot in Verona!

There are way too many affordable and cute places nearby to give the eatery another go. The prices are steep, especially for what you get. I ordered the brocolli cheese quiche, which literally had no cheese! The salad was ok, not very substantial -- it was only greens and no veggies. My sister ordered a sandwich and chips, which looked like less than a half order from Panera for double the price. Drinks were the most affordable option but still over $3 for a simple tea or coffee no frills.

You get the sliced apples in the salads and the bottles of apple bourbon up front. The hot tea is no charge, but the iced tea is not. Both appear to be Lipton. I got an Arnold Palmer, which was quite good. They didn't mix it so it had a toquilla sunrise feel. The appetizers really stood out. The animal fries were not your squirt cheese in n out style. These were thick cut steak fries, with Wisconsin melted cheese and ground beef, topped with thousand island like aioli. The other wunder starter was the hot pretzel. Thick with kosher salt applied to buttered crust, it's served on a charcuterie board with cheese knife. Perfect for cutting bite sized peices fresh before you dip. Cheese sauce and stone ground mustard. Burgers were good. Sit down restaurant style, thick and perfectly grilled to order. A little gooey but the buns soaked up the juices. Salads come with standard fancy greens, topped with thinly sliced apples, with whole pecans. The vinegrett was decent. Soup that day was country vegetable. We passed at fire because it sounds very Campbell soup from a can. A couple minutes later she came out and said chef made her taste it, so she could adequately rave about it. The Caesar salad was excellent with super crisp romaine and a fresh house made dressing. I wished that the plate was bigger, as it was loaded very high and hard to not spill. The Margarita flatbread was ok, nothing special. My dining mate tried the Fried Cheese Curd app and a Smashburger with fries for his main. The curds were deliciously crunchy and gooey. Some of the best curds in the area. His Smashburger was good, but the fries were outstanding. We also tried hot cider, since cider is Orchard's claim to fame. The cider was excellent, although a bit pricey at $6.00 a cup. We splurged on some mini-donuts for dessert, but they were just ok. The vibe of Orchard is open and inviting. Our server was excellent, no complaints.
