I was greeted by Cierra, who was quick to help me. I explained to her that I wanted to check if my insurance covered the annual flu shot. Within a minute or so of sharing my date of birth, she confirmed that I was in fact covered and completed my COVID screening after which she directed me towards the booth on the left side of the pharmacy set up specifically to administer flu shots. I give bonus points to Cierra for proudly embodying Spooky Season 2020 despite the tough year so far, fit in her orange and black hair clips as well as a candy corn mask! Following my my pleasant interaction with Cierra, I was enthusiastically greeted by the pharmacist Kathy. Despite such a long day at work, her energy was uplifting, and really calmed the nerves (I hate needles). She talked me through the whole process, and was kind enough to fill out my immunization card which I needed as proof for work. Overall, pharmacy here at this CVS location appears to be doing excellent as I was in and out with a flu shot in under 15 minutes without an appointment. I will say however, that I may have been a bit lucky with my timing as upon exiting the flu shot booth there were 4-5 customers lined up at the pharmacy.

There's constant traffic, and unfortunately, a lot of theft--so yes, they limit what's out on the floor for a reason. A little patience goes a long way. That said, it's actually a good store with loyal, hardworking staff who do their best. The store is clean, well-stocked, and self-checkouts are almost always open. Most of the time, you're greeted when you walk in or at least see staff available. The makeup department specially Ileni & Connie are so nice. This store is consistently being stocked, and someone usually helps you within a few minutes. They'll explain sales and how to use your CVS ExtraCare card, and they're genuinely willing to help you shop if you ask. The photo department works mainly through the CVS Pharmacy app--if you use it correctly, your order is usually smooth. If not, that's more of a user error situation. Food items are always available, and I've never seen anything expired or questionable in the fridge. As for the pharmacy--understand they are extremely busy, especially with a hospital just minutes away. It's a 24-hour CVS Pharmacy location, so yes, expect lines and sometimes a tired or direct pharmacist--they're working around the clock. Bottom line: this is not your average CVS. It's high-volume, high-demand, and the staff are doing the best they can under pressure.

If you rarely need to print, I think this CVS is amazing. The website usually overestimates how long it will take to print your documents. I upload my pages to their website and I get modified within 5-10 minutes that it's ready for pickup. The website always says 2-3 hours after you submit the order but I believe that's a general wait time for photo printing and not document printing. Staff is very helpful and courteous. Truly, nothing to complain about.
