This is for our experience at Walgreen's Montebello's pharmacy drive-through. On our way out of town swung by our local Walgreen's to pick up a prescription, but didn't know about their 10-day you-snooze-you-lose policy, so it had been re-shelved and we were told we'd have to wait another 30-60 minutes for them to process it again. Because we had to get on the road the pharmacist recommended we call the Walgreen's where we were headed. Yay, Walgreen's Montebello! They had it all ready when we arrived and without a hitch. I've never had an issue with picking up my photos at any Walgreens. The older lady who was at the counter was NOT welcoming. I understand customer service but the way she was arguing with Me was so unprofessional & unnecessary. She argued about what size did I order. I told her if I worked there I'd help myself & I'd skip the angry demeanor, also keep in mind I ordered 25 print out & different sizes. She was arguing with me as if she was on the street. I kept my composer but once she passed the limit I had to raise my voice because if she doesn't like her job the maybe she shouldn't work there. I don't disrespect anyone especially people at work. Walgreens is notorious for putting their callers on hold for a very long time. But this Walgreens tops them all! I called x3 just now and each time I was put on hold for over 8 mins! That is UNACCEPTABLE. And to add insult to injury, they answer "Walgreens please hold" then bammm!!! you're on hold! No one asks if they can put you on hold and wait for your response! So bad! I have my business across the street this Walgreens location , And for the last 2 months I don't know why but it seems like they have the worst people working there , the worst customer service ever !! There's a man manager that sometimes he feels like talking to you and sometimes he decides to ignore you, There's a lady there that when she is changing customer , she treats you like if she is doing you a favor ... Even the pharmacy omg !! The girls there are always upset or something in such a bad mood , but when they talk between them and co workers they are laughing and smiling... This Walgreens location helped me out when I was in a time crunch. I had called the Walgreens in Pico Rivera to confirm their Passport Photo hours with the photo person. He informed me that the latest that they would take pictures is 8:30 pm. When I arrived at the Pico Rivera location past 7pm, I was told that they would not honor the time given to me over the phone. So, I called the Walgreens in Montebello and explained what had just happened. The person on line was very professional and told me that he would accommodate me. When I arrived at the Montebello Walgreens, the photo person knew about my situation, and was ready to take my picture. I even got my photo in 10 minutes. This location understands how to treat their customers. A+ customer service. I will only patronize this location from now on. read more

I would give this place zero stars if I could. People should be allowed to speak in their own language without being questioned--this is America, and everyone deserves that respect. I also had to press the assistance button more than ten times before getting help, and the staff member's attitude when asking if I needed assistance was very unpleasant. Overall, the service was extremely disappointing. This place really needs to hire better staff and improve customer service. read more

Came here to drop off a return at the FedEx part of Walgreens. The lady who said her name was "Ana" who worked in the Photo/fedex was so extremely rude. I was waiting in line and the lady who was in line ahead of me told me to be carful because the lady was extremely rude. I didn't pay it much mind but omg was she right. I asked "Ana" before I brought the rug out of my car if it would be acceptable to take a rug. She said yes. So I go back out to my car to get the rug. I come back in and she says they can't accept it because of the size. I then asked her if she could look up another fedex location that I could go to to return it. She told me no! I couldn't believe it. I told her you don't know of any other fed ex? She said no it's not her job. I get you hate your job but if you are going to have awful costumer service then find another one. Where I lived, we didn't have a Walgreens people had mentioned it. I saw here locally and I've been there almost 2 or three times a week. Just picking up a little odds and end things I need it's convenient is nice. THIEFS!!! horrible experience. We payed for a Norco/Muscle relaxer RX prescription for My daughter's upcoming surgery on Fri 4/19/19 not realizing until the morning of surgery THERE WAS 32 PILLS MISSING!! I was encouraged to verify with the pharmacy about their MISTAKE b/c a family member of ours had previously received 30 extra pills of Norco's -by complete error on Walgreens side, at this same location! It's been a nightmare watching my daughter worry about potentially running out of pain meds - especially since we payed for them! The quality of her recovery is threatened b/c there's a potential THIEF at this WALGREENS! WATCH OUT! WARNING! COUNT UR PILLS!! I've been to a lot of walgreens and I like this one the best. It's close to home and on the way but that never seems to determine where I shop. I do regular shopping at some REALLY out of the way places. Why? Because I shop where I wanna shop DAMMIT!!! LOL It's my money and I'll spend it where I wanna spent it!!! The staff here has always stood out to me as the most helpful of other locations, also they have a great photo dept. I've been ot other nearby walgreens and I always get service that just can not compare to that of the one in my local hometown. LOL. Even the pharmacy has very nice and polite staff. No matter if there's a line and they're busy, I always feel I get helpful service without a rush. You're here and gone quickly, they're always stocked, and always seem to have answers that help and make sense. read more

I only go to this Walgreens because it is close to work. It's okay for a quick purchase, although sometimes it's not as quick as it should be. I understand when it's slow that you don't want cashiers sitting around doing schnay, but they should keep an eye out for people waiting to check out. I've almost thought of waving my purchase in front of the exit sensors to get someone pronto. The other thing you must watch out for are the elderly in this odd parking lot. There's this one row right in the middle and sometimes they'll just pull out without realizing that it's just smack dab in the middle of the parking lot and others may be driving or pulling out. I'll keep going because it's one of the closes drugstores close to work when I need cough drops or the like. read more

I'm a big fan of this particular Walgreens! The store carries everything that you might need for a picnic, day at the beach, or health issue. This location also has a drive-thru pharmacy that I'm particularly fond of. Customer service is usually good and this store now carries wine and beer. One word of advice is that if your going to come in to purchase weekly ad specials you will probably end up with a rain check as stock is limited. read more

This review is solely based on the DRIVE thru pharmacy. It's a drive thru meaning it's supposed to be fast and convenient for the customer when they're in a hurry. If the car in front of you is having insurance issues or whatever you guys really need to tell them to pull over and head inside. The wait is ridiculous. Get It together. read more

The PHARMACIST here is an AIRHEAD!!! He needs more training! Or maybe it's his dirty eyes that can't read the milligrams on the pain medicine that was prescribed, cause I can CLEARLY READ THE MILLIGRAMS! My family member is in full on pain and this dumb guy won't give us the medicine until he speaks to the doctor to confirm. It's Saturday today and the doctor is closed. We went through the drive thru and the pharmacist made a big deal over this pain medicine, even asking us to get off the car , so we did! Only to tell us that he can't give us the medicine. So about a month ago I went in with my friend while we're standing in line to pay we notice that the cashier (Ivan) was on his cell phone having a conversation with his friend it was unbelievable so when it was our turn to check out my friend asked him "I didn't know it was okay to take a personal call at while working " he just gave attitude and continued with his conversation on his cell. It was shocking. Also he overcharged someone ahead of us because this guy was on his phone. Save that when you go on break or lunch. I've been to this Walgreens a couple of times, and the service has always been great, but today I had a last minute rush order for photos and given that it was already late I thought I might not be able to get them tonight to finish up a gift, but the night crew Alexis and Greg were extremely helpful!! I asked the cashier Alexis if I can get my photos today and he asked how big it was and it was only about 10 photos so he headed over to the photo side and started helping me out before he got anyone in line, but then the photo guy came and he stepped in to help and he told me I'd be able to get my photos in about 7-10 minutes!! I was so relieved and so I told him I would walk around the store while the photos printed about few minutes later he looked for me in the store and let me know that one of my pictures didn't print correctly and he told me I can go ahead and edit and print again! I was so thankful he went out of his way and let me know of my mistake! Thanks Walgreens for the best service and for these nice employees! Now I'll be able to finish this gift on time! Pharmacy staff is so irresponsible. Spoke to the Store manager about it today and she tried to make me feel bad for not being able to pick up my pills on time telling me that the pharmacy did all that labor basically for nothing. I have an autoimmune disease and my body is constantly at war with itself and at times hard for me to do anything on top of that a single mother of 2 boys. My 4 year old has been having back to back surgeries to remove tumors and again I'm dealing with my own health issues. I went to Walgreens for everything I needed. NEVER AGAIN. I'm rating the photo center of this walgreens. I used the mobile app to order some prints. I ordered around 2:30pm. I received a text message at 3:42pm saying my order was ready to be picked up. I get to walgreens around 6:50pm expecting to just walk in and pick up my prints. But no. They were not ready. They were in a scattered pile. The employee couldn't even find all my prints at first. Then I come to find out my order was wrong. I had to reprint one of my prints. I left in a rush without looking at my prints in detail. I got home to see that my prints were very sloppily cut. I am very irritated. Walgreens management please train your employees to put more quality into work instead of standing around gossiping and not getting work done right. read more
